Unfortunately, the op is right. Atiku would have fared better if he had chosen a Yoruba man as his running mate as it would have been a battle between two Yoruba men. Atiku already secured the South East, all he needs is the South West now. I have high regards and much respect for PO, but contrary to some opinions, Atiku/PO need the South West votes to win.
