This is absolutely true and it's sad things haven't changed . I am saying this because I talk from experience. The Labour union (Nigerians) meant to care for the welfare of the workers were bribed with meagre funds and they end up exacerbating the situation. Some workers had their hands cut off while working on the hazardous machines and despite the fact that they were rendered disabled perpetually as a result of that and the metal trauma that would cost them, they end up getting as little as below 100 thousand naira then for compensation. etc.

The so called Staffs you would discover got the position by being sycophants to the Chinese and they get worse when their objective is achieved. Back then, those who were staffs made it look like it was the end of the World and we the contract workers saw them as gods. I was very young then as it was in 2001 and I'm never the type to bow to no one so I always had troubles with them. The Chinese believes Blacks are slaves . That is what they are told in their schools back home . The Chinese guy who was in charge of our section always told us that that and if for any reason he is not satisfied with whatever task he gives you to execute, you get kicked or beaten. While I was there, my junior Brother sent me money to buy for him so I asked someone to take me to the market. I got there and just believed everything they had there was Gold. They also claimed to be selling per whatever and after some weighing, they calculated their nonsense and gave me their price and I paid. For some reasons, I thought I had bought it cheap compared to the prices I bought for in Lag cos I had Gold chains that were bought at computer village and they were original as everyone confirmed it. To cut the long story short, I delivered the crap(Supposed Gold) to my Brother and he wore it and must have went to show it off to friends who would have told him it's not real Gold. It lead to an argument. He was too sure I knew about stuffs like that as an elder Brother. They ended up at different Goldsmith's place and they all confirmed it wasn't real Gold. He had called me when they were having the argument and I told him it was real cos I thought it was. When he later called to tell me about the Goldsmith's assertions, I felt so ashamed . Not just for myself alone but for my Brother as well. I felt like a fool who wasn't exposed. Since then, I don't trust no more.

Apologies,the Unionist did not kill any Cultist before the massacre as I have confirmed from a very reliable source. I had said that because I heard something like that in the past. I am new to Car selling Biz and from what I have observed so far,Cars from Cotonou are not cheaper than Cars brought in from US or Canada.It mostly depend on where you are getting the car from.Most of our prominent dealers tend to make ridiculous profit and that's why people who don't know much about where to buy think buying from Cotonou is cheaper.For example,a friend of mine who introduced me to the biz sold a camry(98-99) tiny light for 750K recently even though the odometer was about 200K.Some dealers would reduce the Odometer and maybe work on cars like that and put it in the market for maybe 1.1m or 1.2m or even higher.

If you compare the prices of cars from the U.S including money for shipping and clearance at the seaport here with the price to purchase from Cotonou,it will likely be same price.The extra you pay to get it to your doorstep from Cotonou will be the difference.The difference cost 200K or even more.i.e While you can get a Camry (98-99) tiny light to your door step from USA for 750K-800K...It will cost nothing less than 900K from Cotonou.It is better to buy from the US cos Cars from Cotonou are sort of illegal.You need to pay custom duty else it could be impounded.I hope this makes sense.

This is Nonsense.I deal with money transfer agencies a lot in Nigeria and it's true that if you don't have an account with a bank you intend to cash your transaction,you can't receive money sent to you.The guy got paid for using the back door to cash your transaction so please shut up.

As for the Gen tripping off,if you don't check it immediately,I advice you somehow do on time cos there was a time me Gen set tripped off though it wasn't at an odd hour.When I went out to check what the problem was,my neighbor was already helping me put fire out on it and there were like 5 Generators where mine was.Imagine the inferno if there wasn't a quick intervention?Nice tips though.
