Richieniit:He just wanted people to share nonsense story. Peter obi is one of the few governors in the history of Nigerian civilian rule to never been charged and prosecuted for misuse of public funds. |
spearman:Was Peter Obi charged and prosecuted for this "alleged " money laundering?? |

Blesser28:I think Mbadinuju was the first civilian governor. Before 1999 was Col. Mike Attah |
Tomek09:Obi picked up Anambra from where Mbadinuju left it in the mud! |

Tinubu's visits to all this people is just classic politicking.. However, Nigerians have seen it all before and will not fall for it this time. At this stage, all this people he is visiting don't even have influence in their own state under the APC mandate. Check Rivers state.. does Amaechi command more mercenaries than Wike the PDP guy? Ebonyi state with Umahi, SE will never vote APC even if Pope Francis was running under APC. Osibanjo is from Ogun state and in as much as Tinubu is a political heavyweight in SW.. he is not well received in Ogun state. Kwara state.. with the combined force and mercenaries of Saraki and Dino, they can do a big damage and neutralize the force of Yahaya Bello. People will never vote APC in general after all they have been through under 8 years of Buhari. In this election, Peter Obi will do well in SE, split SS with PDP. Then depending on Obi's running mate, say he picked someone out of Kwankwanso's camp, then he will inflict heavy damage on the northern votes and pick up crumbs here and there in SW. The election will be tight. But if PDP, NNPP and LP form a coalition. Well then it is game over for APC. But in the Alliance, Obi have to be the president for it to make sense. |
tenpipsperday:Spot on!! |
simple250:This will be a sure bet to defeat APC. SE will never vote APC even if Pope Francis was running under APC. SS voting for APC is dicey. They might lean PDP or LP. Then the heaviest fight in this election is the campaign for the Northern votes. If PDP, NNPP, LP form an alliance.. this will be a landslide election in their favor. Our shaky shaky daddy and APC will know how to lick their own wounds ![]() |
Wike's mouth is too loud to be anyone's VP. VP are supposed to be under the umbrella of the president but with Wike's gra gra.. he will just hijack the country when Atiku goes to Germany or Dubai, Saudi Arabia for his medical trip ![]() |
Dino is already singing like a bird ![]() Someone should investigate if FFK and Dino are siblings ![]() Just fed them well and they will start singing like a bird ![]() |
Whoever knows Peter Obi should tell him to get out there and make deals, shake the tables. Politics is not a gentle man game.. there are lots of politicking and wheeling and dealing behind it. He needs to get a northern political heavyweight behind him to tap the northern votes and get some muscle from the SW to pick up the votes of the aggrieved SW, Tinubu is a strong political force in the SW but not everyone cares for him in SW. Obi needs to pick up these votes. Peter obi needs to canvas, canvas, get out there, make deals, work the "political streets" .. online warriors can't win him the presidential election. Obi needs to campaign heavily in Lagos ( in Igbo dominated areas) not that he would win lagos handly but just to make some noise in Tinubu's door steps make shaky shaky daddy's BP rise small ![]() |

Osibanjo lost because he was a political no body. That's it!! |
E don happen ![]() |
mach7:APC do not have NW in their pocket.. do we think NW will heavily vote Tinubu if there are other northern heavyweight on the ballot? APCs success also depends heavily on how they put this primary behind them. If APC is in dissary they will struggle every where including SW. |
I do hope LP and NNPP join forces so they can take on APC and PDP. |
Let the game begin The dollar sharing game ![]() |
Interesting, Amaechi secured more votes than Osibanjo ![]() |
Sold to the highest bidder ![]() |
The idea of us choosing between Tinubu or Atiku after 8 years of Buhari is just very uncomfortable ![]() Peter Obi might be trending but when Atiku and Tinubu start sharing dollars nah, would SE even vote for him? Let Ask ourselves, how many states in SE did our beloved Ojukwu win all the times he contested for president?? Our very own Ikemba of Nnewi For Peter Obi to have any chance he needs to drag the North with Atiku and Tinubu and needs a northern political heavyweight on his side. Say Kwankwaso. Although Ganduje is on Tinubu's side but Kwankwaso is no push over in Kano and northern politics. If Peter obi could lock up SE, SS , pick up upset APC folks in the middle belt and SW.. whatever he can scramble from the north but he needs to capture Kano because some way some how, Kano has the highest voting population in Nigeria. Then we might be on our way to a new Nigeria. Politicians will be campaigning heavily for Northern votes, that's were the battle ground would be. |

murmee:Should we abolish the VP position then if the occupant of the position cannot do any significant thing? |

|
Angelfrost:Vice presidents are and should be influential in these areas you mentioned. If they are not or are not expected to be influential in those areas.. maybe the position of the vice president should be abolished? |
But let's ask ourselves one question. What have Osibanjo done in the last 7 years that would make someone vote for him to be the president the next 4 years? The economy have gotten worse from where the country was in 2015 and Osibanjo wants another 4 years in office? Note: I am not a Tinubu fan either. Infact, looking back the last 7 years, why should we support APC? Not a fan of PDP either because they started the derail the country since 1999
