I dislike Ekweremmadu the politician as well.

But even if the boy is 21, and he is lying he was 15.

Under UK law, can someone import a donor ? I thought they have a register?

We always like to pretend like we don't know how things go in this country because the person at the receiving end is either not one of us or don't agree with us.

If you have had a relation with kidney problems in Nigeria, and kidney problems are very common these days, you would have known that getting a donor most times depends on how much you want to pay, if the donor is not a family member.(

Obviously this guy was promised a huge sum to donate, they got to The UK and it was noticed that his kidneys can't match with hers, which means that he has to go back to Nigeria. Aware that he might not be paid as promised because he didn't donate as agreed and not sure of a good future in Nigeria after returning, he bolted away with all sorts of sickening tales.

This is the plausible pattern of events and although Ekweremmadu is not my favorite politician, this accusations of human trafficking and organs harvesting as far as I'm concerned, all look staged to dramatize the whole story for media effects.

I wanted to think like this but I stopped for minute..

For a person of Ekweremadu's calibre.. I would like to imagine he has common sense.

Didn't his family test the boy at a hospital here in Nigeria to determine compatibility before spending the amount to sponsor him abroad for the actual donation??

But again I thought about another thing, since the politicians don't invest in infrastructure here in the motherland Nigeria. They don't give a rat as§ about the basic infrastructures of the common man, so Ekweremadus family probably didn't trust the analysis of a Nigerian hospital and that's why they didn't do the tests here first to determine compatibility. So shame on him.. former deputy senate president of the federal republic of Nigeria.. he is been in Abuja since 1999

But I still think they determined compatibility before the travel, the boy just got cold feet.

I have not donated any organ before but I have donated blood. They usually counsel you prior to the donation.. they give you paperwork to sign, they explain everything to you etc.. frankly speaking even to donate blood sef, after counseling and see the paperwork sometimes I feel like I no wan do again but again, it is something for the greater good. Some people donate one time and they don't do it again

I think it was at the moment that the boy said nah nah.. he is not doing again. Even though the success rate for a kidney transplant is high even in Nigerian hospitals but again, nothing is guaranteed. Things happen, someone could still loose their life even if the transplant is done at Mayo Clinic or John Hopkins or Cleveland clinic.

So, me thinks the boy got cold feet and said he no do again.

I pray for God to intervene and help this poor child.

With this letter It doesn't seem Ike had something to hide. he just needs to prove the boy is older than 15 or he genuinely was mislead to believe he was.
Irrespective of our disaffection towards him he loves his daughter and looking for a donor for a family member is not a crime.

We have seen where someone says one thing verbally and puts something else in writing. Maybe the one he put in writing was to cover himself, and they told the boy and his family something different.

It could be also that the family was aware but they have a change of heart and the boy had a cold feet.

But anyhow for all the bad governance all this politicians institute on the masses.. make shame catch Ekweremadu and his family small.. make him Sidon for jail for a hot minute..make people laugh am small.

Kwara state.. with the combined force and mercenaries of Saraki and Dino, they can do a big damage and neutralize the force of Yahaya Bello.

People will never vote APC in general after all they have been through under 8 years of Buhari.

In this election, Peter Obi will do well in SE, split SS with PDP.
Then depending on Obi's running mate, say he picked someone out of Kwankwanso's camp, then he will inflict heavy damage on the northern votes and pick up crumbs here and there in SW. The election will be tight.

But if PDP, NNPP and LP form a coalition.
Well then it is game over for APC. But in the Alliance, Obi have to be the president for it to make sense.

Whoever knows Peter Obi should tell him to get out there and make deals, shake the tables.

Politics is not a gentle man game.. there are lots of politicking and wheeling and dealing behind it.

He needs to get a northern political heavyweight behind him to tap the northern votes and get some muscle from the SW to pick up the votes of the aggrieved SW, Tinubu is a strong political force in the SW but not everyone cares for him in SW. Obi needs to pick up these votes.

Peter obi needs to canvas, canvas, get out there, make deals, work the "political streets" .. online warriors can't win him the presidential election.

Obi needs to campaign heavily in Lagos ( in Igbo dominated areas) not that he would win lagos handly but just to make some noise in Tinubu's door steps make shaky shaky daddy's BP rise small
