based on the facts here i would say Guzzuzz messed up

1 ony a FOOL would give a gaurantee on engine coming from Europe/USA those engines are nearly 15 years old and above, to offer even 3 months it means your stripped and rebuilt the engine therefore you reall know that the engine is perfect condition. PLEASE NOTE all used car engines that come to nigeria are mostly bought from scrap yards, he car was being scrapped. its being scrapped most for two reasons engine is messed up or it has failed road worth certification and its expensive to fix. Gazzuzz most likely hot wire the engine and it runs for few seconds and is declared a good running engine BUT i guess that the standard of doing things in NIGERIA

2 24hrs to take it out and send it back to him is more like F U, the buyer has to find a mechanic to take it out, thats a expense on it own then either driving or sendit to him its also an expense this offer simply makes it hard for the buyer to return the engine unless if he says take out the engine i will come/send a replacement on the condition that i pick up the one i sold to you

3 Yes he showing sign of being a cheat by trying to redirect us to what the customer did with his old engine, thats not the issue here, the issue is about him an customer with tokunbo engine

4 Can Gazzuzz should show us the proof what he did on engine to warrants his 3 months gaurantee? most there is nothing but simply when he was buying the he hot wire the engine run it few seconds declared it good and bought it for resale

5 He is supposed to be open not to declare any warrant on an engine which came from Europe or USA there is no history on the engine, thats a can of worms

This was an engine that was smoking, rattling , and burning oil excessively.

His engine was replaced and he had no complaints for several months.

Sadly his true nature was revealed to me tonight when I went through his Facebook profile. He placed his old engine up for sale on the 23rd of July (next day) with the header, runs pretty well. What is saddening is that this guy didn't just try to sell a defective engine to strangers on a public platform, but to friends and family .

I scrolled for more pictures of the hood, then i saw a Toyota 2MZ-FE V6 Motor instead of the 3.5L VQ35DE V6

The owner must have been frustrated because of the cvt transmission issues ,and thinks the solution is an engine and transmission swap,
Is the engine swap worth it?
The regular engine produces 245hp while the 2mz-fe produces 200hp, 45hp lost

Based on the pictures of the hood, it looks like a neat job , everything in place, if i didn't see the body , i would have argued its a Toyota
because it still uses Electronic Fuel Injection, most local swaps here uses Carburetor .

seller also said it has AC

i think the person that did the conversion tried based on look of things, but a test drive speaks a lot,
if properly done , his car should have a better mpg because the engine is smaller,

Murano is available in AWD and Fwd, i think this one is FWD

I drive a 2003 Toyota Camry. Just recently I experienced a Strange “ Hissing “ sound from my back tires when ever my engine is on.

Pls guys what could be the problem. I’ve driven it like that for a week now. The sound is terrible.

My mechanic said it’s fuel pump that is making the sound. I doubt.

I have a friend who drives similar. I haven’t heard any sound.

Bro don't do it. If you must, don't do it in Nigeria. Ship it out to Toyota head office in Japan and have it done there or you will cry hot tears.

On a more serious note, the cost of doing it is enough to add money join and buy another car.
Also there is a 90% chance that it won't work and reserving back will be almost impossible so its not worth the risk. Best thing to do is sell the manual, add that money you want to use for converting it and buy an automatic.

I should say that what you want to do is realistically possible but not in Nigeria (dollars wise and skills wise)

Gazzuzz did same on his avensis years ago... rocked da car... dunno if he still has it but it was one hell of a rugged horse to da chap

Just see how the engine and front hood of the car peeled away, exposing the driver/passenger cabin. Many of these companies use carbon fiber body for lighter weight and performance. Some even have their engines in the back (atrocity) like 99% of Lambos.
That's why our politicians do not joke with Lexus Lx570 and Landcruiser. RIP man.
