Many women are miserable married. If the op doesn't want to get married, he shouldn't. Who's forcing him to do so? Who asked for his opinion? No one. I also find it surprising you mentioned your parents are happily married. You outlined only the negative aspects of marriage despite being raise by a couple who you claim truly love themselves. One would think you were raised in a broken home. Did your parents not inspire you? Did you not learn a thing for them? Isn't your mother a paragon of virtue, so much so that you pray for a woman like her... Are you sure you're not echoing the thoughts of your father? If you don't want to get married because it's not your thing, that's fine. But you're being awfully toxic.

When I was younger, I used to pray a lot cause things were really difficult. I was raised Catholic. I would pray the rosary everyday and novenas... I wasn't a fanatic tho. I was sincere.

I was 15 when I realised that God doesn't exist. I used to think he never answered my prayers cause I was too imperfect but that's bullsh**. I'm a good person. I didn't deserve the crap I went through. No one does.

I turned to God because I needed hope. I wanted to be sure that someone out there loved me dearly, that he was aware of all I was going through and he would someday help me.

But if I had spent all my life hoping, I would be dead. I've taken control of my life. I now know bad things happen, so I don't punish myself when they do. I take responsibility. Things haven't been great but I'm happier than I've ever been.

The rats still died, no matter how long they lasted. No one saved them and that's the lesson. If they were intelligent, they would have helped themselves. Humans are intelligent, we aren't rats.

I used to be scared of death but not anymore. When I'm dead, I'm dead. It's inevitable. So I'm gonna truly live. It's one short life we've each been given.

Definitely. If he's comfortable with not having kids, why wouldn't I? He doesn't need my approval to do what makes him happy. Personally, I don't want children. I can't stand the thought of it. And I'm more or less straight. There are millions of people like myself. Permanent sterilization is a thing. So sex isn't always about reproduction.

I clearly stated that the punishment were just responsibility for men and womanhood for women. Which is very natural. Even male animals do the work providing shelter and food while the females conceive, give birth and raise the children...

See. The Bible has a lot of loopholes. It doesn't make perfect sense. So it's either trash or there are precious hidden meanings.... But you Christians just take it as it is. Even though you can't defend it.

Scripture remains the same but guess what many of the beliefs of those who claim to believe in the God of scripture differ completely from what is in fact written in scripture, why? Because what they believe are instead interpretations as they majorly reject what is written much like you. 2. Why bother with scripture at all as it is covered from the beginning to the end of many outrageous claims? Like a man walking on water, a chariot of fire from heaven, angels, etc. Why bother with it at all?
