The government doesn't care about her citizens. Anything that would put money in their pockets is welcomed. Imagine oil Multinationals that government have over 50% stake, presenting a template of sacking workers without benefits and government okayed it. Chevron wants to sack her workers, without benefits, they ran to Federal Government and the government okayed the sacking. The government could not ask of the modalities and the benefits. All the government saw was money and okayed the sack. Removing oil subsidy in a volatile economy is not a good idea. Government should take charge of her economy before removing subsidy. The standard of living is so bad that everyone will be adversely affected if subsidy is totally removed. Dod chop dog |
