You are confused. What Soyinka did is/was as normal as breathing in most normal country's colleges. What he did not bargain for was the animalistic tendencies of Nigerians and their desire to take what is supposed to be good and turn it into something evil. In college, i was a member of the GAMMA BETA PHI. A solid band of brothers who would look out for one another throughout college and out of it. The selection process was tough but well worth it. We did not meet at night but in broad daylight for everyone to see. It was a honor to be part of this. Soyinka thought he could transfer that knowledge to Nigerians but Nigerians found a way to phuck it up.

I am human. Of course I'd be enraged. Which is why by law in normal countries, if attacked, you have a limited amount of time to respond. If it is premeditated, which jungle justice is, you will spend the rest of your life in jail. But we all know nigeria and Nigerians are not normal.
