Sorry to say, policemen are very foolish set of people, I have never heard a policeman that owns a lamborghini, a good nice house, beautiful things, all you see them with is a bottle of beer and useless women at night; despite their corrupt income.........tufiakwa!
Do you know how ridiculous you argument is? So, according to you, if they use their "corrupt" income to buy lamborghini and nice houses, then they would be alright in your books? And people wonder why Nigeria has problems.

To me the Prophet has no case to answer. There is nothing like hypnosis or was she just waking up from her "hypnosis" after over three years?

The woman was simply gullible and naive, hence the Prophet took advantage of it.
Well said. The first rule of how not to be swindled is; if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Sadly, most Nigerians don't think with their faculties hence these fruadsters/pastors take them on long rides.

Then it's back to my initial comment, who will stand for him . When you as a surety know hes likely going to jail and he may leg it to avoid jail. Am beginning to think this response comes from his office or a former beneficiary, you can't be this supportive of a man who stole iPhone worth millions, released on bail and then trying to hypnotised another business man of millions. This is not afonja bi*fraud thing, am a full blooded yoruba.
Which is why i said Nigerians don't think like normal people. Everywhere else in normal countries people don't automatically assume what you have just assumed. You are not judge, jury and executioner. It is the same mentality people use to set supposed suspects on fire in the streets everyday. How do you know he stole the iphones? Were you there? There is a reason they call it bail and there is a reason courts exist. It is so easy to kill anyone in Nigeria. All i have to do if i don't like you is to shout thief and hopefully do it around people who think like you because i know they will automatically assume the person is guilty and set him on fire.

Some offenders are held in custody for some reasons (1) if there are chances of them not coming to court when needed to (2) commit further offence while on bail (3) Endanger the safety or welfare of the public (4) interfere with witnesses. Seun may have bridge conditions 2 and 3 and that explain my first reasoning.
The only reason he is still in jail is because he has not met bail conditions. Remember he has already been granted bail so your argument makes no sense. He is not charged for being a mass murderer so how is the safety or welfare of the public in jeopardy. Trying to justify your initial comments won't work. You basically voiced out how a mass majority of Nigerians actually think.

Who will stand for him, Yoruba don't condone bad things, he should rot there and serve his punishment.
This is the problem with Nigerians. In NORMAL societies, everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty while in Nigeria you are automatically guilty until proven innocent. This is why it is so easy for them to set someone on fire for stealing a maggi cube. What a people.

This is normal in a country where people don't respect other people's personal space/bubble. You get that close in a normal society and they will knock you the phuck out. In the U.S, people will be on a queue and you would think the queue does not exist. You get too close to someone and you might get in serious trouble.

the worst form of denial is to lie to yourself, Wall Street is as corrupt as you can get.yet they account for most of the American economy, in Nigeria we equte being rich with being corrupt and this govt is like an aboki on steroids sending most rich people underground with their money.
No one is equating rich with being corrupt but how do you explain a scenario where a first lady with no viable skill whatsoever has access to 5 million dollars in one account? And she's not the only one. You guys had better wake up.

Obasanjo said his aim was to create 15 billonaires, i wonder how many IBB created,
tthey essentially created a new breed of middle class, and a new economy, e.g the GSM revolution, the banking sector etc

this govt however are intrested in improvishing people, making billionaires poorer and essentially crippling the Private bussinessnes

the govt should have focused on the economy first and not corruption. anyway what i have learnt is that a nation can survive its corrupt leaders, even survive wars but can never survive foolish leaders.
God will deliver us
You must be high. There is no way in hell that an economy can grow when corruption thrives. It will be like fetching water with a basket.

I'm guessing you are white..
Scratch that, I know you are white. And I'm not saying anything is wrong with that but I can tell by your F*ucked up way of reasoning you have a personal vendetta against Nigerians. Whoever wronged you is to blame not 180 million Nigerians. Some of us know the problem and are working hard to fix it. We are not all the same. Don't come up here trying to act like you know every single Nigerian cos you lived here.
By the way, the world sees us the way we are because of people like you. You see a problem and you magnify it. Went through some of your posts, and I can't but ask What exactly did that Nigerian do to you?

That said..
We see our problems and some of us are working towards making the country a better place. So, stop with the generalization.
Unless you are racists, then your true plights will be understood.
Ile Yoruba niwon tI to mi even though my parents aren't yoruba. I know the way you think because I lived there for a while. The simple truth is you don't understand the country you live or you are just a denialist. If you live in Nigeria you are corrupt. There is no ifs or buts about it. It is not really your fault because society forces it on you. You have a car and need to get to point B from point A but a policeman stops you and insists you give him bribe. Are you saying yout have never done that? I have seen where occupants in a bus heckle a bus driver to "settle" am make we go joo. Guy, wake up. The first step in solving a problem is recognizin that you have one. In 2080 you all I'll still be wondering why you are not moving forward at this rate. Smh

How can you really say the writer knows what he/she is talking about when He/she said; "50% of Nairobi of population Nairobi wakes up and think, 'Who can I ripoff today?'
Since when did Nairobi become a geographical region in Nigeria.?

He/She might be right on so many points but you definitely not based on what she knows but based on 'hear say'.
And if you agree in totality, Well then, I guess you are a criminal just like she stated.

But he is generalising. The truth is that people that give Nigeria bad images are in the minority, contrary to what many think. For every internet fraudster, there are hundreds of honest Nigerians!
Minority you say. Ok. I don't think you understand the country you live in. Are we not talking about a country where a policeman can stand confidently in public and collect, nay, demand bribe in full view of the world and nothing happens? Try that shiit in Germany, the U.S, France etc and see what happens to you. You will spend a better part of you life behind bars. This culture can only exist if most Nigerians, if not all, are corrupt. This is a country where you are not respected unless you are a "sharp" guy which is why only criminals opt for public office. Guy, wake up. The OP knows knows what she/he is talking about.

Lol. Keep deceiving yourselves. In 2070 you all will still be asking the same question; "Why is Nigeria not moving forward"? Why would it when you all don't think like normal human beings. I have never seen a people as racist as a Nigerian. Never. Well, that's a lie. Afghans are about the same.
