Jaqenhghar: The problem here is in Nigeria , How do you define well. In a country where everyone wants to be a millionaire and greed is the order of the day, no matter how well you pay them they will still complain. Expect everyone else to begin to complain of pay raise even those who do nothing Nigerians have tgis sense of self entitlement. Everything should be given to them and they dont have to give anything in return True talk. |

Esseite: Truthfully... it cannot be explained without the word MARGINALIZATION..... It can be explained and it is not marginalization. 1. Have you been to Aba or nnewi? Just because they make shoes does not meant the state warrants an airport. Even if it does, the state government should be at the fore front of making this a reality. I wonder what you all think are the responsibilities of state governments. Nigeria is the probably the only country in the world where the state governors just wait for allocations. These guys don't do a damn thing. 2. The game of politics is very alien to the igbo community. They just don't know how to play it. Learn diplomacy and politics and everything will fall into place. Look at the North. As useless as that region is, the still have the whole country in their grasps. Why? because they completely understand the way Nigeria's politics is played. |

deji15: Nice move. Great initiative. I like this. There is no need to re invent the wheels. Copy what works in other places and implement it to the last letter. Nigeria shall be great!! It doesn't make any sense. Even in other countries, teachers don't earn higher wages than other workers. They get paid well though. Very well. If what he is saying is true, it defeats the purpose of what and who a teacher is. Same with Soldiers. You cannot pay a Soldier so much money even though they put their lives on the line. But you do have to pay them well. |

jomonic: Igbos are not erratic. They simply do not stand injustice, cheating when it is glaring. This is a beautiful trait for any group to posses. Try to understand their background. They are who they are and cannot change to suite the whims of the Yoruba and any other group. Each tribe or race on earth have they way of life and you must respect it. You don't have any right to demand that a race change their way of life just because you don't like it. The is nauseating impudence to the highest degree and it is nonsense. I can reel out the faults I see among other ethnic groups which I understand to emanate from their peculiar culture. Most of you are totally lacking in emotional intelligence. The people you see in Ladipo make lots of contribution and value for the society but because you have intoxicated yourselfs in stereotypes it is difficult for you to see these values. Without them your life and mine will be very difficult. They go to all corners of the globe under perilous conditions to source for all manner of vehicle parts and bring them back for sales. In a country where some of your brothers could wake up one day and burn their markets, your touts collect illegal rents and several other charges making their life a hell. These people should be commended and not condemned if you guys still have a conscience. How mush more do you want us to accommodate!!! If you still cant accommodate then join the campaign to tear the country apart. Thank you for proving my point. You see, i really don't give two phucks what happens to the igbos. Whether they stay with the union or leave. It is better for them to leave because there is no way in hell the North or south will ever let them reach the highest office in Nigeria. The point i am trying to put across is that to leave the union, you must have diplomatic and political skills. The igbos have none. Everything na fight. The truth hurts. Learn from it or move along. |

Victornezzar: How will u say igbos marginalised dem selves wen we know dat d hatred on us is 2 much If we re dah violent.....do u fink d north will be doing dis rubbish dey re doing now He is right. The igbos have marginalized themselves. No one wants to deal with an erratic, confrontational, aggressive, and undiplomatic group of people. The Igbos are known for these traits and thereby untrustworthy. To them, everything has to be solved by direct confrontation and or a fight. Who would want to deal with people like that? Don't believe me? Go to Ladipo market, Alaba market, or any street where spare parts are sold. The civil war didn't help their case either. |

Kobicove: Who in his right senses in Nigeria will pay N20 million for an ordinary pickup in Nigeria? Goes to show Nigerians do not understand vehicles. Based on road conditions alone, every Nigerian should own a truck because the roads are absurd to say the least. Plus, with the reputation of the hilux as being indestructable, it eventually pays itself out over time. I myself do not like buying new vehicles but i would pay full price for a brand new Toyota Hilux. |

discusant: If you have a lot of learned people in Nigeria how did Buhari of all persons become president of Nigeria?
Don't blame Ahmad of email accounts achievement, blame Nigeria's political class from the south who cannot yet revolt against the skewed political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers;
a rigged political structure which can enable a cow from Northern Nigeria win a Barack Obama or Bill Clinton or Ben Bruce from the south of Nigeria in the country's presidential election. Until all Nigerians learn that the fault lies at the feet of the citizenry then nothing will change in Nigeria. These guys would not be there unless the citizenry supports them. Look throughout the forum and you will see support for Dino, Buhari, Jonathan, Fayose, Tinubu, and even the most useless of all, patience jonathan. A lot of people on this forum were justifying her having 5 million dollars in one account alone. Can you imagine? A woman with zero skill set. And they wonder why they are in a deplorable condition. No leader can survive without some sort of support from the citizenry. |

dasparrow: Nigerians and their inferiority complex. Always putting foreigners ahead of their own. Look at the U.S Embassy here in Nigeria. They will never hire Nigerians for sensitive positions within their embassy but look at Nigeria.....very useless country! I heard this to be the case in Malaysia too. Hiring Malaysians to work at the Nigerian Embassy. Nigerians don't value each other and will always give preferential treatment to foreigners over their own both home and abroad. And then you wonder why being patriotic to this country is a total waste of time and energy. You sure you've ever been to the U.S embassy in Nigeria? There are Nigerians working in sensitive positions there. The only area you will not see a nigerian in charge of is visa issuance and interview. For obvious reasons. |

So nature wiping them out means its 'correct' or meant to happen and nothing was lost?
Oh pls. Its the same damn result....and there are several other animals that have been hunted into near or full extinction...and nobody misses not seeing them. You cannot miss what you don't know. Your society determines your beliefs and thought process. I never really understood what that meant till i started dealing with Nigerians. Even with facts and education, you will still deny the obvious and the truth. Ever heard of balance of nature? When things happen naturally it balances itself. If man intercedes it becomes unbalanced. That i have to explain this to you is scary to say the least. Normal societies understand this. There is a woodpecker in louisiana that if you kill will earn you a twenty five thousand dollar fine. Why? Because they do not want it to go extinct and tilt the balance of nature.
