You should be very far from the person that told you he was a good man, he was the opposite, he has virtually obliterated the opposition in Burundi, killing anybody that is holds any form of resistance to his path, he was elected in 2005, got reflected in 2010 and in 2015 he showed interest to run again but that was a move that is against the Burundi constitution, he amended the constitution and violence erupted, over 1200 Burundians were killed and over 400,000 left the country, most are refugees in Tanzania, he had many slaughter houses in Burundi where people are tortured and killed, an example was a BBC documentary on African Eye series in which a house in Bujumbura was seen to be emitting large quantity of blood into the gutter outside from the waste pipe, investigation showed that the house was one of the numerous houses used in silencing the opposition in Burundi, in 2018, Burundi was ranked the least happy place on earth in 2018 world happiness report.

Really? I will need to do some research about him, my wife is from the country and she was the one that told me he was a good person though she left the country 12yrs ago. Thanks for the info.

It's going to be more than a easy ride for you come Nov. 3rd 2020 because you will be contesting against a foolish excentric morón whose stupity and naiveness has affected the respect and honour being bestowed on America before his emergence. Every aspect of US economy is in comatose and a visionary diplomatic leadership is urgently needed to restore the lost glory of our dear beloved God's own country.
I know some religious bigots in Nigeria still see the fat brain Trump as their saviour, but thankfully they can only vote on nairaland not elsewhere and going by their antecedents on this platform, whoever they supported here always lose at the real election. For those supporting him, I pray half of what is happening to black people under Trump happen to your family members wherever they are.

Why can't you guys just tell your senators and rep. members to pass a bill mandating it for any presidential candidate to hold a Phd certificate rather that shouting a professor serving under a NEPA certificate holder all the time. Yet they equally have professors working for them, you guys should stop actings as if being a professor signifies being the most intelligent.

That is why it's very important to be mindful of what we write or say especially in this era of social media influence. You may forget the thrash you tweeted but the social media will not. What was the motive behind posting those foolish tweets in the first instance? Is that what determines one's success in life? Funny enough he posted similar rubbish repeatedly. I pity his career. It's painful spending such a huge amount to secure admission and one idiot scammed you off such money, it happened to a friend of mine some years back and all we could do was to let go after the foolish agent returned just a token from the amount he collected. You can post his contact online if that will make him come out, he's a scammer and no law says you shouldn't expose him.
