75 litres to be precise.
Toyota Camry [2006-2012] fuel tank capacity is 70 litres. [2019-2022]----50 litres.

Which year is your Camry?

Modified
I use 2009 and my full tank is about 25/26k. Half tank is 12,500.

There's no need for attacks. People are entitled to their opinion based on their experience. If driver A says the hustle doesn't pay well, so be it.....that's his opinion based on his experience. He shouldn't be abused or talk down on because of it. If driver B says the hustle has made him build a house and build other businesses, so be it. He shouldn't be attacked based on it.

The good thing is that the hustle is not virtual, it is physical. Anyone can go on it and see for themselves, and then decide whether it is mouth watering or not!

I don't need to stress this anymore. We should learn to be civil and mature in our response. No need for uncouth response. No need for attacks. It doesn't make sense.

Driving upandan isn't what one should boast about. While burning the candles in school, did you ever envisage that you would graduate and become a driver? NO! I'm quite sure you have a valid dream, but then Nigeria happened and you decided to do it and build from it.
The hustle isn't what one should boast about. Infact, nothing actually is worth boasting about. Just be humble. Allow people air their views about the hustle, without attacking them. Live and let's live!

Pearl and pope love driving and they built businesses from this hustle, fine and good. Let them be.
Me, Gentle, Baz and 73O9 didn't build anything from it....fine and good. Let us be. Everyone's opinion is valid. "No need for attacks"

The other day I complained about my AC and I fixed it with about 120k. The AC don pack up again. This time, it is the evaporator. I'll spend about 54k to fix it. It is part of the hustle. Make and spend. It is my experience....not yours! Yours might be different

Yes, 23k from 7am to 7pm
And you think this is fair on drivers?! I'm sorry, I really do not want any argument, nor get you angry, cos I understand you guys here do not tolerate criticism. You tend to abuse and bring down someone trying to make a point. So I plead with your conscience not to take it to heart.
I'm just being factual and conscientious. How can one make a whole 51k and you go home with less than half of the money? It's like you're working for the app company and fuel.

He was kinda trying to praise bolt, but then it looks like slavery to me. You(app company) don't buy fuel, you don't fix any of the car issues, you don't care if the driver gets involved in any accident, if I don't work for sometime due to issues...you don't care or call to know why, you don't even have a free or subsidised health scheme, nothing whatsoever, except your app, and then you take almost 13k from 51k!?
Apart from paying tax from what they get from drivers, do they pay Google play store monthly or yearly?

I am not faulting him(Zodd). I'm just thinking out loud cos I'm also in this dilemma. Yesterday I used Indrive and Rida to make about 35k with 11k fuel, working from 11am to around 10:30 to 11, with a take home of 23k.

I just feel it would have made more sense if fuel was 5k and commission about 3k, then take home about 43k OR commission about 6k, then take home 40k.

It is well sha

Answers to your questions

The App I use is BOLT: Number 1 ehailing app in Nigeria. I don't use Indrive, Rida and Uber their price is not really so good this subsidy period.

I Started work by 7am. By 12 noon I have made 28k thanks to long trips. I took 1 hour break to eat lunch. Continue by 1pm till 7pm. I have realized 51k.

30% of my trip was island and 70% was mainland.
I really don't want to post here again, but I can't help but ask this, since we use same car.

Is 51k your take home? If it's not, then I guess if you deduct 25% commission and fuel, you should have a take home of 23,350. Right?

I still they calculate here, but hate this back and forth argument. No where in this world half tank will do 61k. Some arguments are just needless. I on app from home today, still the same thing, faint surge on Bolt. I just ignore all the apps. Drivers still remain the problem, I won't borrow anyone anything again. If they like write fellow comrade, president or aluta. Their problem.

He's right bro. The lies are much, and a lot of hustlers here know it, but they just don't want to argue. I also don't like to argue either. Something you experience daily, someone will be saying it as if you're a novice in it. You will start to get confused as if you're not doing it right! The worse is the ones that have never done the hustle before in their lives, but they will come here to tell you so much about the hustle, even the ones wey dem no know about!

I decided to work today. I was in my car for more than 2 hours. I got discouraged with amounts I was seeing on Indrive and Rida. 45mins for 3500. 20 mins for 1900. 1hr 10 mins for 4k. Omo, these are the usual prices when fuel was 185. If I try to bid high, another driver don pick am.
I just had to drive back into the compound, parked and entered my house.

This is excluding extra charges.
That means you made 47k with about 15k fuel (Abi how much is the half tank? And how much extra charges. You still have about 32k as profit, if you remove fuel. It's a good one

Though he's wrong, he should have carried you along, but you should go ahead with the wedding. When you get in and you give him a male child, then you should start speaking up to things you don't like. You will start to open your eyes for him to know that you're not borlor! He will have no choice than to adjust and carry you along. Just be patient for now.

Get the difference btw the recent price and the old price, i.e 200-100 = 100.

Divide the difference by the old price and multiply by 100.

100/100 X 100/1 = 100. So it's 100%

Why are you surprised? Someone here has been reminding us of the outcome of subsidy removal. He has been harmering on it and we all know that very soon subsidy will be removed!

I only pity delivery guys, but then I guess they should join the telegram group, so they can make enough profit even if fuel sells for 1k per litre.

Asides the abracadabra ∆, to be candid I think bolt is better to use now.....though a lot of riders have started complaining bitterly, only God knows how long bolt will hold this down, cos some have started using commercial buses.

Indrive and Rida are still sleeping. Opened Rida this morning and the prices are almost the same....just a slight increase, same as Indrive.

I've not worked for 3 weeks now though. I've been seriously ill. Wanted to start yesterday but couldn't get fuel. Now that it has increased to 488, na to reason wetin to use my life do remain!

Are you saying a bolt/Uber driver cannot deliver 30k - 40k weekly in today's Naija. How many other businesses are delivering such amount consistently?
A lot bro. You should find out, if you don't know. Seun BBQ at Abule oja junction makes far far more than that a day! My friend who owns a bar/restaurant at Moore Road, off University Road, makes far more than that a day. Chowdeck and other delivery bikes comes to pick food steady at his place.
These are businesses you can start with the 1.5m someone wants to use to buy car for uber.

Lol... this touch me, you have a big heart. For some thats the end of brotherhood. Sometimes we have to see the good in all, when family feuds? No one wins. My elder brother always do things that hurt me psychologically, but with time I realised he does that to everyone and I've learnt to take all as his person. Though I don't understand grin he may breeze into the country and we won't see more than twice. Probably it will be his wife telling me he's with her, while I dey think he's still around. He just do his things in a kind of fire brigade manner.

I do same too people, but not family grin
That's a top notch reasoning. You're the bigger person. If we take people's character towards us to heart, we will never have anyone around us. The key is to learn to forgive, tolerate and accommodate.

Just keep being good to people, you will surely reap one day.(Galatians 6: 9-10)

My cousin who is based abroad (lived there for so many years) got married recently here in Nigeria and I was the one that introduced him to the girl. This girl just changed towards me suddenly and has been looking for ways to cause disparity btw me and him, but him being wise, always tells me: "bro, just leave her, I understand what's happening, I see it. nothing/nobody can change or stop our brotherly love and togetherness" even though I don't tell him anything. The more she tries to cause katakata, the more he gets closer and tries to help me in issues.

Just be good to people, no matter what they serve you. Though we are not perfect, so we fail at times.....that's cause we are humans.

NOTE that the two of them are like brothers and they've been partner for almost 3yrs that's why my friend thinks his partner is not considerate.
I understand you bro. We are different and we do things differently. Some people are so shrewd in business. They don't care to know if you're a brother/family member/friend. Kowope! It still doesn't mean they are wicked! It's their biz policy.

The very first job I did when I finished my NYSC was with my blood brother. I worked in his company. He didn't think twice before he sacked me for a little mistake I made. Today we are still brothers and paddys. Some times, he calls me to lend him and I don't hesitate, vice versa.

Tell him not to see the guy as a bad man. He should take it as a lesson. Move on with the car. That man could still link him to better offers tomorrow.
