Well, that poor solar yield will refill his batteries, while yours will still be struggling at bulk stage Seriously though, i may sell one of my kidneys to go Lithium. My goal is a 400Ah LTO bank ![]() NiyiOmoIyunade: |
@GeorgeD1, If i remember correctly, the conversion is not 1:1 It's more like 3:1 A 300Ah Lead Acid (LA) battery bank is roughly equivalent to a 100Ah Lithium bank. Your current LA capacity is roughly equivalent to a 260Ah Lithium bank... about N6m using your example. Remember that your 780Ah bank has a usable capacity of 390Ah. A 300Ah Lithium equivalent should give you better value. Correct me if i'm wrong @chris81964/dapsyra, you can grow your Lithium bank gradually. Start with 100Ah, and grow to 300Ah at anytime. Unlike LA where one is limited to a max 3-month window to add new batteries. |
These are really beautiful pics... |
Very lovely! Wish you a happy marriage. No fighting o ![]() |
No, there's only DC between PV array and CC. You can install it between your inverter and DB, provided it's single phase. davodyguy: |
. |
NDM1-125: is the model number of your mcb. C100: is it's current/curve rating. 230v: is it's operating voltage. In summary, it's a 100A mcb for use in single phase AC applications. davodyguy: |
I'm not sure i see the issue here. If miraculously his 4.5kw array deliver 100% power, the cc will simply throttle the current. @Nonoski, from the 2 pole breaker to the battery(cc to battery) should be rated 100A, not 63A dc. babaegun: |
There's a daily limit of 5 or 10k if i remember correctly. Her life savings was prolly under 10k ![]() JerryQ: |
Brilliant submission as usual oga NiyiOmoIyunade ![]() |
It'll crash soon. The red flags are everywhere. 1. Promos to drive new registrations 2. New Products with higher yields/roi 3. New Products with "longer" maturity 4. Bandwagon effect. Suddenly everyone is in on it. Lol I predict it'll crash by last quarter of this year. As usual, always play with money you can afford to lose. |
Wonders shall never end |
We're really in trouble in this country! ![]() |
Agc (amazon gift cards) or amazon checkout. 1. Buy agc at between 275 and 290 N/$ depending on the merchant. 2. Redeem in your amazon account. 3. Purchase away with reckless abandon... Lol bigrovar: |
Nah brah! You can get it at even 280 Matt 7:7mank1234: |
If you're single, then you no get wahala. A wife will test your patience in renewable energy and self sufficiency. Don't quote me o, I'm on my 5th bottle of beer. ![]() mank1234: |
Big decision. 4 more panels will bring your PV array to 1.95kw. With typical system inefficiencies and looking at that duplex, are you saying you can live on barely 6kwh to 8kwh daily? mank1234: |
His house prolly got burnt down from solar power gone wrong, hence his conspicuous absence ![]() Na yoke I dey yoke o... ![]() DMerciful: |
Orientation ke! This is akin to askin folks to quit buying Toyota's, cos of several recalls by the manufacture. Buy Honda instead ![]() kiekie1: |
Pictures or you know the drill... ![]() Dam5reey: |
Yes Dapsyra, I'm very much interested in same spec below. NiyiOmoIyunade: |
That's the beauty of choice. With a large enough pv array, you're at liberty to do and undo. pranil:Yup, you're correct. Mine is set to SOL (Solar charging only) To enjoy full charging from NEPA and solar the 16 should be set at - SNU ( use grid and solar to keep batteries charged) - changing this setting to CSO will stop the inverter charging from Grid whenever there is sunlight essentially 8 am to 6 PM it can be used only when you have a large PV system |
The wahala is that you're not even getting the 15A sef... This matter is spiritual baba! Increase your pv array to max out the 50A solar charger. No need for a new CC at this time. I suspect you have a 400Ah 48Vdc battery bank. sinistrian: |
Confirm Setting 11: "Maximum utility charging current" is set appropriately. Confirm Setting 16: "Charger source priority" is set to CSO or SNU. I'm fully off-grid now, but i remember adjusting those settings whenever i wanted to charge from the grid. Edit: i see Niyi already addressed you...In addition, don't change Setting 01 to UTI. Doing so, your panels will never charge your batteries unless the grid fails. Set it to SBU or SOL. sinistrian: |
Very enlightening post. Thanks OP! |
Yes, the speed here is reasonable. I get up 7mbps download speeds on average. What's the solution? alkanes1: |
I am equally interested in a plan for heavy users... That Etisalat own no go work. By the time i stream a movie or two from Netflix, e go finish in a day. I need an unlimited monthly plan. |
Maybe i'm seething with jealousy and envy ![]() DMerciful: |
This is not entirely true, as harvest is proportional to usage. You squeeze every juice from your array cos house energy usage far outweighs production, hence your fantastic efficiency numbers. DMerciful: |
I am not sure we have Outback cc users here ![]() |
