He has not failed all his fans.His next album Face2face had the same deep thought provoking lines with tracks like "E be like say" "One love" "true love" and "4 instance".While he might not be great on the fast dance-hall beat he truly is a very intelligent act.In Unstoppable tracks like "free","oh papa","Go down there" and "outside" are classic 2face.

Now as far as marketing goes,  a label will only throw money at something if they see that the public is responding to it. It is in their best interest to do so.  It is hardly ever bias against an artist or any other nonsense that artists like to spew when their sh!t does not sell.  The label will put the song out and if the public responds, they start pushing it.
