I know you dislike Buhari and all but I disagree with what you wrote down. Nigeria became messed up the moment we removed federalism from our constitution.
Go and check the calibre of leaders Buhari jailed and killed off; men like Ambrose Alli who died immediately after his inhuman incaceration with nothing but a piece of undeveloped land to his name, but nevertheless blinded by the bestial conditions of his improsonment.
In your SW, it was visionaries like Ebenezer Babatope, Pa Ajasin, Jakande, Tai Solarin etc

Buhari killed off a generation of political leaders that meant well for the country. Today, we have criminals led by ex-generals at the top levels of politics; yes Buhari especially, killed Nigeria.

One question for you anyway - Do you think Nigeria is messed up?
Perhaps, you jokers and pretenders thought it would remain closed? Buhari is a thug and thief, and it is visible from CPC's strategists and the sheer number of stone throwing almajiri's that attend his rallies.

Where is Buhari's so called anti-corruption battle going to come from? From a team of bomb throwers, clowns, pretenders and common robbers? This election season will surely become a Nollywood blockburster some day!

TNUBU4LIFE:
when I told you guys that the yoruba had queued behind tinubu since the election started, most of you stayed in siberia and started firing vitriols at me,now I have been vindicated!Go back and replay the kind of reception tinubu got in oluyole ile, then,if you fully understand the politics of yoruba, there, the verdict was given!
Now,when Ikubabayeye himself told Ajimobi openly that his party should not let the yoruba down, whereas,he never even gave audience to any other political party, then I know pdp is doomed!
Now,the most important and formidable, the yoruba intelligentsia, they have written books on every sphere of yoruba development, they continue to deploy their services even free of charge and without their input in your govt, you are gone!I got to the library of an ex-governor in yorubaland, you need to see his rich library and collection of yoruba scholars, even the most recent collections and I was shocked to find out that this 'bigman' has read them all!I then asked him how to get these books,he said,it is by special arrangement!!They use their political clout to support the research and when the books are published, they try to make sure such books dont get wide circulation while the researcher/writer duly gets compensated, these guys are so organised and intellectually oriented!! shocked shocked and ofcourse, the traditional power institutions of Ogboni, these institutions place the interest of the yoruba over every other interest! They keep the 'soul' of the yoruba, they are faceless and membership is so so very secretive and strictly based on merit and sometimes by birth/pedigree!They are the ones that can never be bought, they are the ones that interpret and formulate major economic and  political directions of the yoruba, they are everywhere in the world!TINUBU IS JUST THE IMAGE MAKER!

They, not tinubu, are the ones that will decide!Whatever they give,my people,it is a photocopy, the ORIGINAL IS WITH THEM!The final thing most, assuredly will not ruin nigeria but the interest of the yoruba must be protected!
They have spoken, they are skeptical about the Buhari presidency, rejects pdp,GEJ BUT FOR HIS MISYARN,IS JUST A CASUALTY IN THE ART OF WAR but they wont mind maintaining their traditional relationship with the north, though, out of mutual suspicion.GEJ can not take them on!He needs them even after the election and he knows they are powerful!

Now,what do we want in Nigeria? The presidency is not our ultimate target!we want federalism! We hate this unitary system! We want to develop at a  faster pace in the whole of yorubaland. We are aware, all our facets of human development can stand on its own and we really hope our people can be the best in life,we still consider this unitary system to have slowed us down too much,we are one of the greatest victims of this unitary system. We fought so many wars to arrive at this stage but in principle,we are one,we are yoruba!
Dude, stop talking crap and go take your tablets.

Lets go out and have a free and fair election on Saturday without the customary PDP mago mago. If the elections are without blatant rigging, I will gracefully accept GEJ if he wins, a very big if.

Be informed that CPC and ACN agents are being deployed to the known PDP rigging states such Sokoto by the hundreds. Each armed with hidden cameras.  If PDP agents rig, they will be exposed and will have to accept responsibility for the resulting pogroms. PDP agents should listen to GEJ who has asked them not to rig him in. We shall see.

Vanguard further learnt that the request was immediately opposed by majority of the senior party officials present at the meeting.

A stalwart of the ACN  was also said to have recounted several efforts made by the ACN and the former Action Congress, AC, at establishing a working alliance with Buhari which he claimed were frustrated by the latter.

Asiwaju Tinubu it was learnt, however, pleaded repeatedly for a second chance for Buhari.

Following the pleas, the party officials, however, resolved that Buhari must come along with the delegation of the former leaders to state his terms. That meeting took place mid afternoon and a breakthrough on a consensus was reportedly reached.

The ACN delegation was making its report known to the party’s national caucus which was meeting for the second time at press time yesterday.

Original proposals

One of the original proposals offered at the first meeting with Tinubu, according to informed sources, was the offer of ministerial and ambassadorial positions to the ACN. That offer it was learnt was roundly shot down at the first ACN national caucus that ended yesterday.

It was learnt that one of the conditions being canvassed by some ACN national officers was the position of vice president in the proposed Buhari presidency. That condition it was learnt would require a pre-dated letter of resignation from the CPC’s presidential running mate, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

Pastor Bakare’s willingness to go along with that plan was as at press time uncertain.

If such an agreement was reached, it is a bad omen for the SW , South and the whole Nigeria. You guys should be championing the industrial revolution not Tinubu. It should be Fashola not Tinubu.
Don't mind those who are rejoicing. They think there is anything in it for them, yet Tinubu has always wanted to be VP only so he can join the oil parasite club by selling out to the born to rule club.
Many hailing the move are only doing it out of bigotry and a sense of personal smallness, otherwise what sane person believes Tinubu will bargain for any interest outside his own?

I'm from d SS & I support BB for these reasons.
1. Creation of 6 economic regions will hasten development as well as provide jobs.
2. The proposed grid comprising of 10lanes on each side, fibre optic cables, underground power cables, rail track for passenger & goods transportation will enhance productivity, jobs and improve our image in Africa.
3. True federalism will bring about true partnership by all ethnic groups in Nigeria while also genuinely helping the oil & minerals producers in the country.
4. It is all about corruption. BB has sworn to fight corruption & if he doesn't keep his word I'll personally lead the campaign to bring his govt down.
5. He has promised to tackle indiscipline & make it fashionable once again to celebrate true hardwork.
6. I know GEJ will make this country grow but it will come at a terrible cost because by the time he & his clique are through Nigeria will be very broke. GEJs administration has shown no good fiscal policy. Soaring debts are alarmingly high.
7. We need to bring back morality into public life. This is Nigeria not the US or someother western country. Peoples sense of commitment to marriage, work, country is fast eroding and it needs to be tackled with urgency. A Nigeria we envision should teach kids not just the sciences & the Arts but also a strong sense of self consciousness, spiritual awareness, conviction to ideals, commitment to family ideals as well as a strong sense of patriotism to country.
For these reasons I strongly believe the ticket of Buhari & Bakare will steer us on a true path of the future of a Nigeria where true men & women of conviction & bursting with ideas will flourish.

There remain significant hurdles to any deal, not least selling it to the respective party faithful just days before the election. It is already too late to re-print ballot papers and any agreement could backfire by creating confusion.

"I don't know if everybody is happy with it. There may be time to complete a deal but not to sell a deal. It remains to be seen if this agreement can cross the finishing line," said one opposition source who declined to be named.

Come, it is very simple for SWners especially with the kind of people in ACN, very diligent and efficient. What would happen is this.

A meeting of all local governments ACN executive would be held at state level, directing each local government and ward to confine congress meeting where the voters education would be carried out. I trust my people. There is always working mechanism on ground for such.

Where I vote, we had to help our old people to find ACN logo and directed their thumbprints. No qualm, no shaking.
And what stops PDP from holding similar meetings? Afterall they have 40% of the SW vote (which will rise to 80% with any merger).
