Poor wretch!

This is your song; "notice me, notice me, notice me, notice me, notice me, notice me, notice me, notice me, notice me, notice me".

What a sad sod. Seeking for notice with Nigerians.
We don't need you, we don't even want to talk to you.

Son of thieves, payback time is nearing; until then, consider yourself ignored and sink back into your sewer.

Your thief fathers stole this.

@The Amaka and hollandis
Calm down na! These guy's are not even abusing you back. In the past, there really were no means of communicating with folk from other regions (except you attended a Fed. Govt. college or moved to a new region). Now there is the Internet.

Also, you might disagree on this thread with someone, but find that you've got something in common on another thread. For example, I'm very  passionate about my ND matters, whereas nex is very annoying when it comes to ND; but we find a lot of common ground elsewhere.

@Tsiya and nex
A lot of Southern blood has flowed cheaply on Northern soil, maybe these guys can tell us why because we don't understand and feel the reason is some innate brutishness up North. Indeed nex almost got killed for being a Northerner, so the strength of feeling in the South against Northern pogroms is obvious; so is the obvious glee with which Northern soldiers carry out massacres in the South.

@The Amaka and hollandis
Both sides seem to have something to say, I'm always upfront pushing for division of the country based on the education gaps (a dangerous chasm) and the attitude of some of the Toronkawa. But I've also heard Northerners saying they feel marginalised; you hear it a few times and then you begin to wonder, maybe these guy's really aint drunk, maybe they mean what they are saying. We really need to talk to guys like Tsiya (I don't know how really Northern nex is), perhaps the gaps between us are just in perception and fear of the unknown. Let us see.

Why did Russia never send anybody to the moon (they were far ahead in the space race at the time) Why is it going to take NASA a full decade plus, to "get back to the moon", if they've done it before in a couple of years? Why aren't the first men to land on the moon superstars, who give moon interviews, sign moon autographs, write moon books, why don't they remain in the limelight?

Poor Thor.

I know his type they abound in British sink estates. Their only education is murder, drugs and how to wield a knife, so you've grown up hating your mother and not knowing your father. Rejected by your country, on liquor and the dole.

It's all burnt deep in your psyche now white boy. You come here hating yourself and thinking, "hmmm I could at least mix with Africans so that I can steal something like my forefathers".  "Maybe I could live up my delusions of grandiose existence", sorry fool, we see through you; go get some cheap prostitute or some crack around the corner.
You don't need to mix with us white boy, we don't need societal rejects and pathological leeches. Don't feel slightly disturbed that you hang around people you hate? Or is it that you jerk off as you post?

Don't worry boy, We'll get you like they got the Nazi's; you and you thieving forefathers.

I have no patience for ethnocentric bigots that only see things through an ethnic lense and never the objectivity lens. If you want to educate them, fine, I think insulting them and ridiculing their intelligence works better as their whole life is based on superiority by association and delude perception of importance/achievement by such association.

In regards to the UK CEOS, mate, believe me, they were pushed by the state once they are seen as irresponsible. In most of the meetings government always ask for resignation if you are asking for taxpayers funds to allay anger of taxpayers.

We can not be trying that attempt of resignation request in somewhere like Nigeria because our people are not principled enough to resign on anything (even if you have a picture of them in embarassing positions doing rituals).

If the government do not sack them, important shareholders would not as long as their is a way to save there own funds 100% and leave ordinary Nigerians to bear the brunt, ala failed banks in the 90s.

Good job there is a law to sack them.

Tsiya:
Our rulers dont think so, you guys just think our rulers think so.

Nigeria is not Iran I agree with you. There is great distinction between sharia law and islamic rule. When ppl say they want sharia law, in essence they means justice be serve through sharia legal systems. These ppl see it as a better form of justice to them than the one we have. And you people should understand that Nigerian law is a hybrid law that encompasses the customary laws and the common law. In the southern part of Nigeria we have customary courts (I dont know what they do) but I do know that they exist. In the predominantly muslim states they prefer sharia law. And so let them have it. No one says sharia law cannot co-exist with secular legal system. Even the UK govt are introducing it in their legal system ( http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article4749183.ece ). The sharia legal systems should not be confused with extremism.

Now back to the Boko Haram issue. This is unfortunate incidence. People have bn complaining to the authority about this group for quite sometimes and the govt have failed to response untill it reach this level. In every society where people lack education and enlightment, things like this should always be expected to happen.

In Nigeria we have cn religious zealots perpetrating crimes in the name of religion. It was not long ago we have Pastor King Lagos. Who whip his subjects and claims to be the saviour of mankind. We looked at him as a person that capitalise on the ignorance and naivety of our poeople to foster his evil tendencies of christianity

Not so long ago we have the Child Witches cases in AkwaIbom. Pastors bit kids to death in the name of exorcism. We dont call it christianity, but call it the excesses of religion.

Boko Haram is another excesses of religion which was left to linger for a long time.
I am not a religious person, I don't see anything wrong with either Islam or Christianity; so your arguments really don't fit the context.
It isn't religion that kills people, it is people that do the killing. I have never heard of SW Muslims going on rampage ang killing people. Any Southerner living in the North must always watch their back because a Northerner might kill them at any time; maybe because someone annoyed Muslims in Europe or Japan, even outer space. The govt didn't respond to these things because they don't care about Southerners too.

gay. The US government was the biggest shareholder. I don't know if you're so illiterate that you've actually put the figure at only £1.6 billion, don't they get news in the area you live? shocked

G.M. and Chrysler have almost exhausted the combined $17.4 billion in federal aid they have received since December. G.M. has asked for up to $16.6 billion more, and Chrysler has requested another $5 billion.
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/30/business/30auto.html

Anyway, total aid GM got was in the region of $50 billion US. . . Whats Nigeria's budget?

and £1.6bn is not really, really big even by western standard, talkless of Nigeria?
Damn! And there I was breaking it down into half-wit sized bits for your consumption! If "billion" wasn't a really, really big number; it would be more common to find. To complicate things a bit for you simple mind, $50 billion is really, really much bigger than £1.6 billion.

Well whatever spin u want to put their u can put.

Sharia is just a law, mostly criminal law. It has nothing to do with your prosperity.
No, your rulers up North think they own the country thats why you can't see anything wrong with sharia. The people think the same, because they clamoured for it (Southerners are just furniture). Religious law and secular state are oil and water; Nigeria is not Iran.
One of the main reasons Boko Haram rose, is the legitimacy that sharia has given their beliefs; they want full sharia and the bastards want it to cover the whole of Nigeria; they think they've got the right!

We Southerners better shape up and tackle this thing head on.

The only reason products are produced in China is because manpower is the cheapest in the world and the natives have the required skill sets. The Chinese do not invent, they just manufacture!

If the West wanted they could bring China to it's knees. Just stop importing goods or move production elsewhere such as India or Mexico and the China dream is over. Around 90% of goods manufactured there are destined for the West anyway and 99% are Western technology and patents, even the Japanese produce most of their electrical goods in China!

When you have 1.5 billion people, human resource is cheap! At the end of the day everything comes down to price, nothing else matters!

Inventing a product is one thing, manufacturing it commercially is another. Nigeria has no skilled work force to speak of, except maybe in the oil sector, poor electricity supply, corruption and bureaucracy at every turn!

So for the for-seeable future, China it is!

For the information of the misinformed, Pentium processors are manufactured in Hudson, Mass. USA by Intel
White boy, stop pulling the wool over your own eyes; your Europe is nowhere near China technologically. Only the US can claim to be more technologically advanced than China. How many of your European countries have sent anybody into space or you don't have patents for it? Or China got the technology from those who have never sent a cockroach into space too? Your time is passing and you're using it badly. By the grace of God, we too will overtake your Europe and get all our looted stuff from you guy's.

Citing serveral cases of religious crises mostly in the North that culminated in scores of deaths, Soyinka noted that “in all these incidents both government and the citizenry had exhibited complacency in the matter of extra-judicial killings”.
The Nobel Laureate stated that “I abhor all forms of extra-judicial killings and there is no evidence of a rigorous attempt by government to pursue the killers and everyone went to sleep and these again went unchallenged. So these are the root causes of Boko Haram where language of appeasement has been used to encourage it or these things are happening with government’s tacit support.”
I think we southerners need to listen to the wisdom of Wole Soyinka. I keep saying we need to cooperate much more than we are doing now; make una shine eye or one day de trap go close.

Funny.

Bill Gates graduated from Lakeside in 1973. He scored 1590 out of 1600 on the college SAT test, a feat of intellectual achievement that for several years he boasted about when introducing himself to new people. He enrolled at Harvard University in the fall, originally thinking of a career in law. But his freshman year saw him spend more of his time in the computer lab than in class. Gates did not really have a study regimen. Instead, he could get by on a few hours of sleep, cram for a test, and pass with a reasonable grade.

Nigerian troops withdraw from oil communities

Nigerian troops have left some of the Niger Delta oil communities they occupied last June following bloody clashes with militants, according to the region's main armed movement.

"We are happy to note that the military has vacated the Gbaramatu communities to allow the displaced people return home," the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta said in a statement late Thursday.

Dozens of soldiers and civilians died in June during the clashes between troops and the militants.

The withdrawal of troops from Gbaramatu, in southern Delta State, is one of MEND's key conditions for peace talks with the government. . .

Father of All Bombs (FOAB)

Real name: Aviation Thermobaric Bomb of Increased Power (ATBIP)

The Worlds most powerful non-nuclear weapon (Russia).

Equivalent to around 44 tons of TNT, it is 4 times more powerful than the US equivalent, MOAB shocked shocked shocked

The vacuum device yields the equivalent of 44 tons of TNT using 7.8 tons of a new type of high explosive developed with the use of nanotechnology. Because of this, the bomb has the same destructive power as a small tactical nuclear weapon.[6] The bomb works by detonating in mid-air. Most damage is inflicted by a supersonic shockwave and extremely high temperatures, which incinerate everything nearby.[4][7] Thermobaric weapons differ from conventional explosive weapons by using oxygen from the atmosphere, rather than carrying an oxidizing agent in their explosives. They produce more energy than normal weapons but are harder to control.[1]

According to General Alexander Rushkin, the Russian deputy chief of staff, the new bomb is smaller than the MOAB but much deadlier because, due to nanotechnology, the temperature at the centre of the blast is twice as high.[3][8][9] He says the bomb's capabilities are comparable to nuclear weapons, but unlike a nuclear weapon, use of the weapon doesn’t damage or pollute the environment (apart from the environment inside the blast radius).[4]

In comparison, the MOAB produces the equivalent of 11 tons of TNT from 8 tons of high explosive. The blast radius of the FOAB is 300 m, more than double that of the MOAB, and the temperature at the epicenter of its blast is twice as high.[7]
