Politics › SERIOUS! SSS Director General Predicts Nigeria Implosion For 2011 by Beaf(op): 4:30am On Aug 04, 2009
In the wake of the Boko Haram crisis, the SSS Director General has warned about the impending implosion of Nigeria come 2011. These intelligence reports are normally reserved for presidential ears only; it gives serious food for thought when this warning is made public.
The country is rapidly sliding down to path of a failed state; needless to say, a catastophic breakup of Nigeria will destroy West Africa; therefore, foreign countries are certain to begin sticking their fingers in our affairs for the sake of their sole interest - oil.
What is happening in Nigeria especially up North?
Politics › Re: Detained Nigerian Sect Head 'Dead' - Breaking News by Beaf: 4:14am On Aug 04, 2009
Thank God there are some responsible Nigerians left. Two Northern ex-police police and SSS chiefs have come out with severe warnings on the unfolding picture in todays Nigeria. All we are seeing, is the preparation for 2011. God knows if the country will not splinter very violently in that year. angry

IjawMan: How come only Yoruba ''generals'' (note generals in quote) wept and genuflected for a junior officer. Does it have to do with the famed cowardice, the desire to live for another Owambe day, or a reflection of their culture of kneeling down for both junior and senior?
Was Adisa an Ilorin Fulani or a Yoruba man? I'm not sure which.

Same article;
Spokesman of MEND, Jomo Gbomo, in an exclusive e-mail response to an inquiry by Vanguard, however, said “We (MEND) are still consulting and hope that before the expiration of the 60-day ceasefire, the team can discuss with the President’s envoy.”

His words, “We are not interested in any direct talks with the President. There are some of us that crave such meetings and those are in the minority and they are doing so for selfish monetary gains. As long as the President gets our message from Timi Alaibe or from the pages of newspapers, meeting him is not as important as the actions he takes to bring about the change every Nigerian now craves for, such as fiscal federalism”.

He nevertheless said, “The Aaron team has not been put in place, but we are already making progress in taking a common position on the demands to be made”.

Quite clearly Vanguard has rushed out an article that rubbishes itself. If MEND is yet to finish choosing their spokesmen, what can we make of the whole story? How can anybody be speaking for them?

@RichyBlack

Ok , now the Boko Haram monsters will never see your family abi?

But its ok for them to see other peoples families and maim and kill them while you are hear salivating and talking your crap.

Why not be as non-charlant and unsympathetic about your family members as you have expressed by refusing to look at the other people's angle.

LILY LIVERED SWINE.

If you get an encounter soon enough, will you be able to handle it?

You remember that.

If this battle is brought to your doorstep, will you be able to stand?

[edit]

Like i said earlier, we know where your concern lies. Those people that you are supporting from other parts of the country that are also causing mayhem in the country will receive the same soon enough(together with their sponsors and supporters).

Its not about running your mouth on a forum on the internet.

Do you have enough in you to stand?
Thieves. You guys will soon finish execute yourselves up North to the last man. Cattle rearers that have been civilised by oil in other peoples backyards.

I was really let down the way he wept and begged on his knees. . . On TV! I knew Diya (through his kids peers) and visited a few times.
He was the defacto number 2 man under Abacha.

The man was a Lt. General and was implicated in a coup in December 1997. Before the incident, the man had told lots of stories and was breathing fire in public, there was general sympathy and outrage on his behalf (especially in Lagos and the West).
He submitted a pettition to Nigeria's Human Rights Violations Investigation Commission but ended up looking an idiot, because witness after witness potrayed him as a coward, liar and backbiter. It was shameful and all culminated in him on all fours, begging Abacha.

Diya was only outperformed by Major-General Abdulkarim Adisa who actually knelt down, wept and begged a lower ranking officer! shocked

@Ehoi. You forgot one other point; MEND phone up the thug armies politicians have aquired, "re-kit" them and use them right back against the system that created them. It is a lose-lose situation for the system.

They're talking about this on cnn right now (literarily as I'm typing) and saying the authorities are in a hurry to bury the bodies possibly to cover up civilian casualties amongst other things. What a shame.
Politics › Re: Haul Nigeria Before The International Court Of Justice ICJ by Beaf(op): 4:54pm On Aug 03, 2009
Crude Oil:
The supreme court is still available. Any aggrieved human rights advocate should sue the Nigerian Police or The government to the supreme court. We mustn't go to an imperialist ICJ as puppets to lay our grievances.
These people clearly don't fear the supreme court. It is best for this thing to be dealt with at international level. The lawlessness and foolishnes that keep holding us back need to be tackled by competent bodies that have nothing to do with any Nigerian bias.

What percentage component of maggi is salt and what percentage of a car is tyre?

A sensible analogy would be your car is a metal object coz it contains predominatly metal as well as other smaller non-metallic components.
Damn!
Ok. So is maggi still a form of salt cos foolishness like this caused Boko Haram?

See goat wen dem cook wit maggi salt! grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Politics › Re: Goat Roasted With Tyres Can Cause Madness - Expert by Beaf: 1:33pm On Aug 03, 2009
silenttalk:
And yes, Maggi is a form of salt.

Maggi, Knorr, Royco, A-one, all have the same ingredient in common. MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE. It is a salt created by Sodium and the Glutamic acid (An amino acid).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monosodium_glutamate

Once again the issue is about explanation.

SALT = ACID + BASE

Common salt is what we use for cooking (Sodium chloride)
Maggi has at least 8 ingredents.  Monosodiunglutamate is just one.
Coming back to tyres. . . So now I can say my car is a form of tyre, beause it has tyres? Damn!

Yes you are right. But always remember before the british came and educated the south the north had their own education system. Before the british came the majority of south people were dressing using leafs. We northen peeps on the other hand knew how to make clothes! Truth hurts, but the truth is truth. I assure you there will not be a leader from the south of nigeria for a long long time. What you have to understand is that the north is very diverse in terms of clans and tribes. Some clans are not very intellectually endowed whilst others such as toronkawa have super intelligence that allows them to easily manouvere politically.
Perhaps, your increasingly unavoidable Arewa republic will be called "Nigeria", then Toronkawa can rule forever? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

What has happened to the educated oligarchs who knew how to make clothes? Have they started executing each other? grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

A new picture has surfaced on BBC showing Yusuf hail and hearty after capture by the army; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/africa/8180475.stm

One question I have is; the govt told us Yusuf was the leader of this group, but how can they prove it now that they have executed him extra-judicially?

Charles Taylor is before the ICJ. Why not our very own extra-judicial muderers?
