Mr "Fashola"! So you can't answer simple questions? Even when innocent blood is on your hands? Mr "Fashola", this will cure your sickness:Anyways, simple questions for an evil simpleton: |
@savanaha. Thank God for people like you. I have come in here and walked right out several times. This thread is so disheartening in the way people reason. Nigeria's biggest problem is that we don't look within ourselves and at our environment for solutions to our problems. We always feel a need to copy other countries; forgeting they have created their solutions according to their own peculiar cultures and traditions. Anyone who doesn't have those peculiarities and attempts copying is doomed to fail. . . We have been doing that in a never ending cycle. When we're not copying, we are importing expertriates (most of whom are mere technicians and in some case plumbers or carpenters). We don't believe that there are any Nigerians intelligent and organised enough to solve our problems. The smart and good ones are always discouraged; "if oyibo never do am, why you think say you fit?". So people are even suggesting that we bring back white people to exploit us again. Check China, they don't copy anybody, yet they have risen to become the Worlds most powerful economy. Everything China does is rooted in their culture, so things are done in a natural setting, making their solutions easy and succeessful 99% of the time. Every copy is the counterfeit of the real thing. Nigeria has copied so many countries that we are a counterfeit of God alone knows what. . . And the copying continues. |
Mr "Fashola", this will cure your sickness: Anyways, simple questions for an evil simpleton: |
babapupa:Ewo! "Igbo" is highlighted in the message you replied. Jesu! The man has now gone mad! ![]() Anyways, simple questions for an evil simpleton: Who is guilty of the following, Fed govt or Ibori / Alams or any other ND leaders?
[li]Odi massacre (2500 dead including; babies, women, children and the elderly)[/li] [li]20 Niger Delta communities wiped off the surface of Earth since 1999[/li] [li]50,000 dead since 1999[/li] [li]The death of Ken Saro Wiwa (a peaceful ND leader)[/li]
|
beaf: Yar Adua has no shame! Yenagoa is in Bayelsa state which has never (I mean never) been connected to the national electricity grid! In 50 years of independence! Talk of neglect! babapupa: You fools spent so much time worrying about other people like weak yoruba people and OPC while your crooked leaders are busy looting your statutory allocations and Nigeria's 11% oil wealth. ![]() Another fool! Who told you Niger Delta leaders were ever in charge of connecting Bayelsa state to the national electricity grid? It is best to ignore idiots. PS. ND people are not Igbo. |
there will be all out war and MEND will emerge the victors, thus finally settling the Yoruba question and also avenging Biafra.
What is the Yoruba question? |
Spider man!
|
babapupa:Foolish member of OPC! ![]() You are even too stupid to listen to the nobel laureate Wole Soyinka, the only wise man from your village! Bring out your fellow hunters to fight MEND if you're so pained, instead of running your dirty mouth. You think people are frying akara? |
Yar’Adua, speaking at the commissioning of the Peace Park in Yenagoa during a one-day working visit to the state explained that the Niger Delta is very high on the agenda of his administration and he would ensure that he restores peace to the region in partnership with all stakeholders in the region.Yar Adua has no shame! Yenagoa is in Bayelsa state which has never (I mean never) been connected to the national electricity grid! In 50 years of independence! Talk of neglect! |
okokomeji:As surely as the sun will shine, you can expect okokomeji to post tons of stuff that nobody can or will read. www.eskimo.com? @okokomeji. When did that become any sort of authority to quote? My friend go and drink tombo with OPC! |
kokoA:This is the deal. . . The army is only good at beating up civilians (especially women) 18. . . Only 18 MEND commando's passed right by ojo cantonement to destroy Atlas Cove. The army was asleep (after heavy bouts of burukutu and pepper soup). Those that were awake tried to radio, but battery don finish; those that were ready got into the only working vehicle. . . Damn! No fuel! Others wanted to use heavy guns, but there were no bullets or projectiles. The commander wanted to use his binoculars, only that the glass was broken; he wanted to command the troops forward, only he realised he didn't know how because he was promoted straight from private to colonel. That is your army. Don't let me start on the airforce who will soon be throwing bombs by hand through helicopter windows. . . IBB wrecked the army and airforce after Great Ogboru's coup. That is why JTF are suffering in Warri South. Dem de hear wen! ![]() MEND are better armed. . . And better dessed.
|
. . .The South-West are a peace loving people who do not like to war, that is why we are calling for calm. . .Talking peace, before finishing MEND? Damn! ![]() This how you know stupid people who just want their voices heard. The idiots had better go back to fishing or whatever it was they were doing before Atlas Cove. |
long story, with no single mention of the early Portuguese contact. Beaf:
. . .I'm stilling waiting tpia. Are you talking the involvement of some powerful Itsekiri in selling Ijaws and Urhobo's into slavery? |
Mental slavery is the cause of this thread. You can submit your family compound for re-colonization. |
kuramo:That should be the last thing on your mind. The bigger picture is that, it is worthless attempting to invent anything in our own country; your patent and the protection it should provide will be worthless. These are the instituitions and structures Obama said Africa lacks. We want to develop and have all the Vision 2020 crap, yet there is no valid patent system? That is the same way IBB took the IMF loan for "structural adjustment", yet there were no structures to adjust. . . there was no uproar. We should voices with this man, at least for principles. |
The sad thing is that in Nigeria, we somehow give lots of air time to fools. I predict that the wise words of our Nobel laureate will soon be drowned out by those drunken idiots called OPC; all because they are seeking relevance and egunje. |
Now, this is one contructive leader the nation can be proud of. God bless the man. |
Everywhere get im backyard. These are from the US.
|
Ndipe:No, the Tutsi's were killed by the Hutu. Your argument implies that the Jews werent German. |
Kai! Mere hunters on holiday from trapping grasscutters now want to commit suicide! Their loved ones should warn them that rat traps arent the equal of heavy duty machine guns. Only coffin builders could have given OPC such bad advice. . . Fight MEND ke! Wa shere! |
"General" Frederick Fasehun Fasehun of OPC who couldn't put up strong resistance to June 12, but now wants to fight Nigeria's minorities. |
long story, with no single mention of the early Portuguese contact.
What was the early Portuguese contact? |
Yes, you heard right. 50 years after independence, bayelsa an oil producing state is yet to be connected to the national electricity grid! |
As the OP says, Awo caused the problems in Warri. He brought the olu of itsekiri from ode-itsekiri to Warri. And created the title "olu of Warri" so that the Itsekiri could be overlord of the both Urhobo and Ijaws (who gave both Itsekiri and Urhobo land). All because, the Itsekiri are Yoruba people. Several lives and properties have been lost in the bloody strife that has resulted. Both Urhobo and Itsekiri met the Ijaw when they migrated. But Awo made Itsekiri's king over their benefactors, what a f.ucking national hero! |
Ibime:I wonder who has been giving Yar Adua this foolish advice. The country is now sleep walking over the precipice. Every single time, the response has been to send the army into the creeks, the problem always comes back bigger and stronger. I tire for Naija! I have always been optimistic, but it seems wasted. Yar Adua remains asleep. Nigeria is a counterfeit state, forged together by lustful fluffiness between the accursed Lugard and his cursed mistress. The Sardauna of Sokoto termed it “the mistake of 1914". Awolowo called it "a mere geographical expression" and spent his entire life seeking a National conference; sadly, he was derided. Yet Awo vision that was far seeing, the consequences of a state having no civil contract with its citizens are obvious; the piece of land called Nigeria is tearing itself to pieces. It has been the law of the jungle, raping and pillaging, now it seems the game is over. It has a govt that takes and never gives. Things are clearly failing, why can't we just have a national conference and talk things over?. . . Everybody wins. |
tayo4lif = becomrich = tpia Hisses. Walks out. |
Are you still ranting??
@TudorSomehow you equate living in a doghouse to intelligence. You cannot remain on topic, but hurl abuse when either, your analysis is proven to be threadbare or you are too lazy to look things up. Damn! Like George Bush and Idi Amin Dada, you carry your abominable ignorance with scandalous pride. A glance at the last posts in your profile is like walking through the leaves of a hate manual. Honest, do you hate yourself? The same goes for bastage [formula = g to r, e to d. work it out yet?]. Talk about fiddling while Abuja burns! Oil companies have been leaving our shores in droves for a much smaller Ghana. Chevrons operations in Nigeria are in danger of going bankrupt, Shell has ceased work in several locations. With all this going Yar Adua has his usual lethargy. The price of oil has risen in recent times, but Nigeria isn't benefitting. Instead we have had meetings about when to hold the next meeting; comittees on who should join which committee. We have been blessed with the full non-ideas of the "7 point agenda" and "vision 2020". |
I have always wondered about this question. Several million more Africans were wiped out during colonial and pre-colonial times than Jews killed by Hitler. Yet, the World (and indeed black people) make no matter of it. The only reason for this to me, is that Africa is to poor to demand our rights. A poor man has no pride and no voice. It will not always be like this, one day, apologies will pour out. |
Nigeria's economy is finished. Money might not exist for the 2010 budget. 90% of govt earnings derive from oil. MENDs attacks mean Nigeria is currently producing oil 30% of capacity. Nigeria's budget for 2009 was $24 billion, already, the govt has started external borrowing to close oil shortfalls, with officials claiming that even for 2009, budgetry obligations might not be met due to MENDs activities. At MENDs current rate of activity, there will no money for budget 2010. Indeed, Mohammed Bakindo, NNPC group managing director disclosed meeting with the Senate committee on petroleum and oil and gas industry stakeholders that compared to 2008, there was a 50 percent fall in the oil revenue. Till date, the production of oil in Nigeria would be something of a comedy, if not for the tragic implications for the Niger Delta peoples. Practically all retired generals have an oil concession. The Nigerian navy in the Delta sells spare parts to MEND for their speedboats while ignoring bargeloads of bunkered oil (the proceeds are used by MEND to procure weapons to kill members of the Navy). 99% of all extracted gas is burned despite regulations introduced 20 years ago to outlaw the practice (23 billion cubic meters per annum, currently equivalent to $2.5 billion per annum). $70 billion has gone up in smoke, so far depending on varying gas cost. This is equivalent to 41% of African natural gas consumption, and forms the single largest source of greenhouse gas emissions on the planet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niger_Delta More than 1.5 million tons of oil, equivalent to one Exxon-Valdez disaster every year for 50 years, have spilled into the delta, poisoning delicate mangrove and rain forest ecosystems and destroying fishing and farming livelihoods. Constant gas flaring releases toxic chemicals into the atmosphere, causing cancer, birth defects, respiratory diseases, and acid rain so toxic it corrodes metal roofs. Between 1999 and now, more than 20 communities have been wiped out completely and more than 50 000 persons killed by the Nigerian Police and Army. http://www.pambazuka.org/en/category/comment/57769/print MEND Nigeria has the undistinguished place in history as the the first country to be faced with an undefeatable "open source" insurgency. MEND is an insurgency without an army. MEND is closely connected with Asari's Niger Delta People's Volunteer Force, a rebel group with similar aims. MEND reportedly seeks "a union of all relevant militant groups in the Niger Delta."[7] However, the identity of MEND is somewhat obscure since its leaders like to remain faceless[8] and its cause has been taken up by completely unrelated groups inspired by the original MEND, one of which is claiming responsibility for some of the violence that has occurred. However, the original members of MEND (recognized as MEND by the United States government and Chevron security), have claimed that impostors are causing some of the violence that is now occurring.[9] MEND's evolving approach to conducting warfare has been described as "open source" [10], so called because it is analogous to the decentralized communal development process now prevalent in the software industry, making it extremely quick to innovate and move new technologies and tactics rapidly from cell to cell without the direction of a vulnerable leadership hierarchy.[11] Former United States Air Force "counter-terrorism" officer, technology analyst, and software entrepreneur, John Robb, in a Wired Magazine interview about the emergence of "open source guerrillas", alleged that MEND "doesn’t even field its own guerillas. They hire their experts and fighters mostly from criminal gangs and tribal warrior cults to do their operations." Unfortunately, the govt will continue to borrow money to fill the void created by MENDs campaign. Between 1999 and now, more than 20 communities have been wiped out completely and more than 50 000 persons killed by the Nigerian Police and Army. More than 1.5 million tons of oil, equivalent to one Exxon-Valdez disaster every year for 50 years, have spilled into the delta, poisoning delicate mangrove and rain forest ecosystems and destroying fishing and farming livelihoods.
