Romance / Re: Why Are Nigerian Girls Becoming Ridiculously Cheap? by bebe2007(m): 1:21pm On May 11, 2007
I personally think its the POVERTY LEVEL IN NAIJA O! Things are hard in this country you have to get everything on your own the Government does not give anything free so what do you expect. There are no serious vacation jobs for students to do. Every meaningful job needs a degree here. A student cannot work as a receptionist in a company. Most of the companies take graduates, is it MR BIGGS? the pay cannot buy the poor student jeans and a top for the next session. Whats their option then? ARITOS OR MUGUS.

Another reason is GREED. An average naija gal wants to wear designers jeans to school, infact the very same one JLO wore in  the last video she saw. All to be noticed in school as a "BABE" so you see they have to haunt for the money bags that are willing to drop the cash.

Peer Pressure is another, what are my friends boyfriends giving to them etc

Once they hear a guy is back from abroad, case closes. It automatically becomes a signed sealed and delivered deed. I know this group of girls that love 419 Boys like mad. Why? cuz they spend like thieves.(Thats what they are anyway). How come some naija boys in london dont date naija gals? they would pick the most expensive resturant to dine and shops to shop in all on the guyz hard earned pounds!!!! e nor go happen o! so they bone the galz.

My brother once took a naija girl out in london, they went to the joints etc on their way back he needed to get chewing gum from a corner shop. She came in with him and he politely asked if she wanted anything. My people, guess what she CARRIED NOT PICKED, A BAG OF RICEEEE
embarassed embarassed embarassed

Guys just look well before you leap there are still many of us who are not so materialistic. Just the basic exchange of gifts between boyfriend and girlfriend. It doesnot have to be too expensive its the thought behind it that counts.

CHEERS wink
Romance / Re: Wats Wrong If A Lady Sets The Ball Rolling? by bebe2007(m): 12:44pm On May 11, 2007
In the 21st century its cool!!! Ladies are more intouch with themselves they take control of all they desire and a whole lot more wink. Personally I WOULD NEVER NO MATTER HOW MUCH I FANCY THE GUY. From experiences that have been shared it hardly ever works out well. How sure are you that the guy in question does fancy you aswell. He might say yes jst becos you are a lady and you are asking. "FREE AND EASY YARNSH" tongue(who likes hassles)he would do what he has to do and move on. Mind you its different if you both fancy yourselves or when he comes calling on his own. Believe you me, he would always come. It has worked for me countless times. So i think waiting for him to make the move is the best no matter how long it takes him, i would chill O! smiley
Romance / Why Dump Your Friends For A Lover? by bebe2007(m): 12:29pm On May 11, 2007
Why do babes dump their girl friends when they find love? What exactly goes through their heads? Amongst my circle of friends i would say am the realist amongst them. Am very blunt and i just say things the way they are. Am pretty straight forward. When they have problems they always seem to be knbocking at my door and when its sorted am the last to know. I feel used you know. Let me give you guys a typical example. My friend was having a whole lot of emotional problems etc she even slept with my boyfriend (obviously an EX now) i forgave her because we are humans. We sorted her problem bit by bit and she got better. The next phase is academic problems. With Prayers and fasting and serious words of encouragements she scales through that. She came back for her graduation and I was not invited. Good, maybe she forgot. Now she meets a guy, they are dating and she is planning a wedding, i get to hear from a third party. People!!!! where did i go wrong?

Another case is a dear friend who gets married and all of a sudden her single friends are not good enough. Inshort a lot of babes do this and i always wonder why? people say i should wait and see, that when i get married i would probably do the same. I doubt it though because i take my friendships seriously. A True friend is worth 100 romantic relationships. I think married or single we all need our friends. They have roles they play too in our lives. For one, if you are a very romantic wife and your husband is hardly around who keeps you comapany and keeps your mind SANE/from GUYS??"its your not so good female friends"and many more i cannot begin to mention. Some say their husbands stops them from enjoying the company of their female friends where does he get off?? such husbands am sorry to say are not confident men.

People, what are your opinions? am i the bad guy here or what?
Romance / Re: Care To Dance: ? by bebe2007(m): 11:54am On May 11, 2007
Yep! if he is tall and good looking. I like a good dancer anyway. So if i check his moves and i think he can make it out there then am in but if not sorry pal, its a NO. I like a guy with a good stamina cuz i can dance from the beginning of the party till the end. No talking pls guys just dance if you want to chat, pick the next bird ok.
Romance / Re: Would You Date An Older Girl? by bebe2007(m): 11:26am On May 11, 2007
Whats wrong with dating or getting married to an older woman? Absolutely nothing. They have got the same fire in their blood like the younger ones. Most guys that come my way a ususally younger or much much older than i am. I Cannot date the older ones cuz they are mostly married. That leaves me with the BOYZ. At first i used to feel insulted, but later i changed. Some of them are very mature you know you would not know the difference. MUTUAL RESPECT THATS THE KEY TO SUCH RELATIONSHIPS. The guy has to be a very CONFIDENT PERSON to start with. I do have a friend like that till date. I met him in school while i was doing my masters and him, his first degree. He is about 2yrs younger. That did not put him off. Though we never went out but we are best of pals till date. The others that came around were intimidated.

As for society, Who cares?? Nobody will be in the house with you and your wife, it would be the two of you. If you are happy, good for you if not its nobody's problem you know. So do not listen to them but rather follow your HEART. I know at least 7 married couples today and they are happy. the truth is you would not know who is older. REMEMBER OLDER WINE TASTE BETTER smiley smiley

Romance / Re: Men Who Hit and Run | Ladies Who Eat and Run by bebe2007(m): 10:48am On May 11, 2007
grin Hit and Run guys, thats very bad on the galz part o! you will make her loose her self confidence. She would be damned emotionally. I can imagine!!!! Guys if you are into that, stop before you are cursed for life.

Eat and Run babes, thats fun!!! thats if its done to ARISTOS O!!! not young potential bobos. To the Aristos good for them they too are greedy bastards who are not satisfied with their wives they want fresh, young blood abi! All the same stop breaking hearts o! Nemesis would catch up with them soonest.
Romance / Re: Pick Up Lines And What They Tell U About The Other Person! by bebe2007(m): 10:22am On May 11, 2007
grin grin this is not exactly a line but a smart move. I went for a party with my galfriends and at the end i had friends going to different directions. I finally got them settled remaining one. One of the guys walked up to me and said he would drop her off. Just like that without me asking him. He told me he fancied her and all that. Of course i was glad. Being the "INTERNATIONAL MATCHMAKER" that i am. Told my friend to jump in the car. I told him to drive carefully and drop her in front of her house and nowhere else. He laughed and asked for my number so he could call and let me know when he drops her off. I did give him and took his just incase of any trouble. He dropped my friend at home and did call me. But what he had to say was something else smiley smiley smiley telling me how he had been tripping all day n the like. He said he only dropped myfriend off just to get close to me and get my number. Can you imagine that!!!!!!!!!! Pretty smart.
Romance / Re: Love Or Lust At First Sight by bebe2007(m): 9:48am On May 11, 2007
For me its not love but Lust tongue tongue at first sight. For those who say ATTRACTION, i think it comes under lust. What did the question say:LOVE OR LUST. Choose one. We could say attraction when we try to be refined but saying outward lust seems crude. Whats attraction anyway: To arouse interest/Pleasure. So you see, it can come under LUST depending on how you see it.
Romance / Re: I Love My Boyfriend But I Fancy Another! by bebe2007(m): 8:47am On May 11, 2007
@Ijogbon,

Thanks for taking time to comment. You completely missed the point mate!!!! i never said my boyfriend was providing me with money or whatever. Where did you get that from? If you must know, i am very self sufficient ok. Pls take that comment back. I will and have never dated a guy cuz of money, thats crazy! I mentioned i liked his PERSON NOT HIS POCKET. How are you so sure he has money anyway. I EXPECT AN APOLOGY.
Romance / Re: Hey guys how d'yu like your babes? 88, 11 or coke bottle? by bebe2007(m): 4:45pm On May 10, 2007
Boys will always be boys! we all have our preference dont we all!!!!!!!!!!!
Alot of you guys will claim to love 11 but in reality you are with 88 grin grin
Alot of guys actually love 88 cuz they have enuff to hold on to but they cannnot admitt it in public they want to be seen with 11 during the day and 88 at nite (Under G runs)
Be true to yourselves, donot try to pls others.

To answer the question, if i were a guy i would go for the dark, tall and averagely big ones. When i mean big, i mean enuff attack say a 36 "dd", cute butt (not too much). Those ones that look very elegant in tight jeans, endless legs, inshort just like TYRA BANKS  wink wink tongue tongue
Romance / Re: She Gave Me Her Number. Is She Cheap? by bebe2007(m): 4:20pm On May 10, 2007
Are u 4 real?? come off your high horse, she is a decent lady. You guys chattered and she gave you her phone number, whats the biggy? I personally think only a civilized girl would do that. Maybe you are used to Bush girls cuz i really donot see the problem.

Call her and try to ask her for SEX first, then you can conclude if she is cheap or not.
My guy am in Marketing, i get alot of numbers and i do give my number to alot of people i meet. They would come in handy one day or the other. Maybe thats her strategy ok MR EXPENSIVE angry angry  Telling you to call at 2am grin grin she figures you are poor (Sorry mate) that you probably cannot afford credit except midnite free calls cheesy cheesy Now seriously she is only trying to establish a rapport. wink
Romance / Re: I Love My Boyfriend But I Fancy Another! by bebe2007(m): 2:52pm On May 09, 2007

Iyke D: I liked the point you made about some people acting like STONES here!!! i completely agree with you on that. The way some people reacted was out of this world o!!! like SWEET T cry cry how far brother? i have not even gone through with the act, you have crucified me already haba!!! you talk like you are that loyal to your partner, am sure you do check girls out and admire some on the road even when you are seeing someone. I think some pple have nailed it for you crazykid, jbuoy, Ziddy and co. Like my secondary school teacher used to say" When two people of opposite sex are locked in a room, something is bound to happen"  Is either one is offering and the other is receiving or maybe opposing (i hope so for your sake) but for how long? Babes are usually honey at that time of the month (either before/after or even during) grin grin (trust me am a babe too so i know) What happens to her then when there is a braod shoulder waiting in bed for her to lie on?? If you can answer that then i rest my case.

MOVE ON DUDEEEEEE!
Romance / Re: What's The Foundation Of Your Relationship? by bebe2007(m): 2:35pm On May 08, 2007
Friendship first then all others can follow. Sex or no sex is completely optional.
Romance / I Love My Boyfriend But I Fancy Another! by bebe2007(m): 2:30pm On May 08, 2007
Am in love with my boyfriend but am attracted to this other guy. I can't seem to stop thinking about him. He is so good looking and my Boyfriend is not that good looking but i love his personalty which i know matters most. My boyfriend is twice the man Mr. Gorgeous can ever be. He is very proud and a chauvnistic pig at that. He is a big flirt too. The kind of guy you know you can never have solely to yourself. My boyfriend on the other hand is a loyal friend you can trust him with your life. I know am crazy but the package is all so attractive. He is well groomed which is a big turn on for me. I have tried one million times to get my boyfriend that way but he is such an "african man" if you know what i mean. He says"why waste time brushing your hair to be smoothe when you can just comb and run along, there are millions of naira to be made out there it wouldnt wait for Mr. Sleek Hair you know" i know he is right but i can't help but,

Talk sense to me people!!!
Health / Re: Stretchmark On Ladies -an Eyesore by bebe2007(m): 2:11pm On May 08, 2007
Stop attributing it to being fat. Like i said earlier it has nothing to do with you being fat but FLUCTUATION OF WEIGHT. Take note.
Health / Re: Stretchmark On Ladies -an Eyesore by bebe2007(m): 12:30pm On May 08, 2007
Hello there,

I catch your drift, it can be quite irritating sometimes. Well its as a result of fluctuation of weight. You add, you reduce, add again or reduce the more etc. Its a natural thing though, not a disease. I have been told cocobutter body cream does help and some others but my dear, i havent seen it cured completely. Thank God for us dark skinned people, it doesnt show much or at all. Am on the big side and i can categorically say i havent got one. Thank God. My sister is very slim and she has it all over her legs hence no minis for her. cry

My advice for people who have it is to stay covered. Do not expose it for us to see it is quite irritating ok.That way you will save yourself the embarrasement!! you can be sexy without flashing skin. cheers.

Family / Re: Men And Women Are Equal! by bebe2007(m): 4:05pm On May 04, 2007
This question is relative. For married couples i think they should be equal. Why? you ask. , Men you are meant to love your wives just like you love yourselves. If you love yourself you would be willing to do everything to make yourslef happy, fulfilled and healthy right! how then can you sit there and tell me you love me when you dont make me happy? you set standards that i cant meet or targets that i cant reach what in devils name is your problem

Its very easy if you love your wife you would listen to her, take her opinions seriously, you wouldnt treat her like a footmat. You guys will make joint decisions etc. Marrige is a partnership its not a master and servant relationship. Am only saying this in a subtle way for God has said the man is the head of the family. At least he deserves some respect. But guess what guys?? WHO IS THE NECK? the woman grin grin grin  kiss kiss kiss

In every other situation outside marriage, my answer is a capital YES! as long as i have achieved everything the male has achieved we are equals the only difference is the sex period!
Health / Hygiene In Nigeria by bebe2007(m): 2:58pm On May 04, 2007
Hygiene simply put, is a way of cleanliness as a way of maintaining good health.
It is not "posh" like some people see it, its healthy habits put together to keep you safe from diseases. Its simple wash your hands after a long days job, after using the gents or ladies, brush your teeth, have a bath regularly, keep tidy hair, wear clean clothes (it must not be designers) and the like.

I have always thought that wouldnot be too hard to do until i came to LAGOS. My God! people stink in this town. Before you eat me raw, i know its not only Lagos but all over the world. Yes, am aware but LAGOS in my opinion takes the CROWN OF DIRTY PEOPLE!!!!! you are entitled to your own. Let me start with the conductors in the commercial buses cry cry cry the odour alone can make one die. Mouth -zero, clothes-zero, bath-zero, hair-zero to add it all attitude-
I always wonder how would a humanbeing go about that way. Its sad and it worries me greater. Like i have always been told, if you compalin too much about something, then do something about it. In this case what can i do? they are not reasonable people how do you get to talk yo them i wonder. Okada men nko! market women etc

Now down to workers generally, some people just donot care when they come to your office embarassed embarassed am like God what just died here? since i came back to Naija-lagos i have inhaled enough smell, odour to last me a life time. Guys will go to the Gents and wouldnt bother to wash their hands. Have you heard of "hepatitis B" (not sure of the spelling), everywhere you turn you see people picking/blowing their nose yuk! people just wee on the streets etc

Am tired of writing cannot go on, i just want to appeal to everyone to take time out and take care of their bodies. It pays alot ok. use a good tooth brush and toothpaste brush at least twice daily especially your tongue thats what makes your mouth smell. Change the toothbrush once in 3months and visit a dentist at least once a year. Use deodorants antiperspirant they are not expensive pls help yourselves. Use perfumes if you can afford it. Keep your hair clean and tidy always wash it. clean clothes are always better than one dirty designers jeans. pls keep your clothes clean, wash and dry them.

I see this as a forum to speak out and say exactly how i feel. I donot mean to offend anyone. We need a change or else we would all be sick.Help us to love you!!!

Cheers kiss
Health / Re: What Is The Cause Of Waist Pain by bebe2007(m): 1:56pm On May 04, 2007

Guys why talk like that? you never know it may creep up on you tomorrow. Whoever said waist pain was only for the old eh! i happen to have waist pain and i cannot even remember how or when it started. I have done x-rays, taken drugs etc but it just wouldnt go.

The first Doctor i saw in England asked me to loose some weight, the second said it had to do with my boobs (cuz am busty) he recommended boobs reduction. The third here in naija said it had nothing to do with both.

My dears, which one of them is right? the good thing about it is that the pain is not constant it comes and goes. All i do now is pray!

Culture / Re: Traditional Marriage Or 'White Wedding'? by bebe2007(m): 1:07pm On May 04, 2007
Ususally people do both. Why do you want to choose either? If its financial then i understand. I would suggest you do the white wedding. At least in the sight of God and even the State you are presumed married. For traditional if its so damn compulsory get the necessary parties your parents and parent in-laws and do the thing. Say about 15people or even 10. You wouldnt spend so much that way.
Business / Re: Customer Service In A Nigerian Business by bebe2007(m): 12:47pm On May 04, 2007
What good is customer service if it cannot be good service? Its meant to be done politely. whether its fake as some people have rightly said or not. Even if its done without the smiles smiley smileywho cares!!! just be polite, no attitude. I personally will not patronize a business with bad customer service. I am always looking out for that when i go places. Guys! please forget about the business centres in naija, resturants and all that, theirs has become a way of life. I think its a complex problem. They feel people are looking down on them for doing such jobs so their beign rude is a defensive measure. Funny rite! but some people really do look down at them but to me its not an excuse. Your job is your job be proud, provided its legal. Look at our Banking halls in naija people!!!!!! with all the so called educated people they have there. That i cannot excuse. Am always shocked to see graduates acting as customer service personnel yet behaving like they are selling pepper and tomatoes in the market. They are rude as hell, not friendly, arrogant etc especially the babes. Dont get me wrong girls! am a babe myself but we just have to call a spade a spade. I gave it to a banker once at GTB. Bankers are always nice to customers with big accounts while the poor ones are left hanging. When a rich guy walks into the bank you will see all of them greeting him from every angle but just notice when an average person like me walks in ( i refuse to use the word poor cuz they are not better off) the music will change. "Banking in Nigeria is getting better" thats all we hear in the news, what about their ATTITUDE? i guess thats anorther topic for another day. Cheers.
