My great granddad was an educated man, he doesn't believes in so called rituals and all. Anyways, it was the ORO festival period, and their members usually go from houses to houses, asking them to support the festival with a specific amount of money. My grandad was approached as well and he turned them down, saying it was all rubbish and he didn't believed in whatever they were celebrating. They got pissed and told him he won't live to see the ORO festival day which was going to take place in the next 7days. My great grandad thought they were bluffing and chased them off.
Well, it happened that my Great grandad suddenly became ill, died on the 6th day and was buried on the 7th day, same day the ORO festival took place.

It is okay to have some reservations about whoever you want to be with, in as much as you aren't going against the will of God for your life. You should pray and ask God for signs and directions, because sometimes His thoughts and plans for us are bigger and much different from ours, so you need Him to help you out.

According to the Bible "Whatever we desire, we should ask God and believe we have received it" this goes to show that, God is kind and will definitely give you your heart desires.

It is okay to be different, to want something that might seem unrealistic but if you don't try you won't be happy right? But then, you just might get what you want if you are patient enough. Don't feel bad for wanting someone from a well to do family, it is fine... we all have that thing we can tolerate and not tolerate, and it is better to avoid those things we can't tolerate. Very demonic! Currently I'm battling with the stupid rats in my room. Imagine, the other day I bought felvin capsules to help ease my cramps, these stupid rats destroyed each capsule, not even one! Like seriously z what do they need felvin capsules for? I was extremely pissed because I was in so much pains and needed to use it asap.

Another event, they used their teeth to puncture our palm oil and ground nut oil big bottles and poured it all on the ground. In fact they destroyed so many things, I decided it was time to fight back and I'm on that. Gone are the days when rats running about would set in fear in me and hinder me from having a nice sweet night because of fear. The other day, I killed one with a pair of my flip-flops

As other tribes in Nigeria have their annual festivals, people of Okrika have their annual initiation ceremony of virgins into womanhood which is held at the final quarter of the year.

The ceremony is aimed at welcoming young virgins who just clocked 18 years old and above into womanhood.
