I've flown KQ 4 times, roundtrips to Nairobi from Lagos, to Kigali from Nairobi and to Madagascar from Nairobi.
In all honesty, all 4 times the flights went off well even though the Nairobi to Madagascar flight was delayed on both legs of the trip. I'm scheduled to travel to Kenya again in February and I'll definitely fly KQ again.

As someone mentioned above, the East Africans are really doing well in aviation. I've also flown Rwandair from Kigali to Lagos and it was also excellent. All these airlines are all government owned, another lesson we have to learn before we float the so-called Nigeria Air.

It is instructive that there are no major West African airlines to speak of since Arik's demise and the only other airline active internationally in West Africa is Asky, which is operated by Ethiopian Airlines.

We need to get our act together.

That is what the minister is trying to explain and people don't want to listen. Nigeria is only selling the brand name. The airline is going to be almost fully owned and run by private entities. That is the normal practice nowadays, Government have no business running it that was why previous arrangements didn't work, that is why South African airline and Kenya airline are not making profit.
But Ethiopian airline is making profit because it is privatised,it is not being run or owned by Ethiopian government. So if they buy into Nigeria Air,it is not the Ethiopian government that is buying,it is a private coy

its not about how people treat you but about what countries require from you as a nigerian passport holder. For example, if you are applying for a work permit in maybe america with a nigerian passport, you have a stricter requirement than someone from ghana who is also applying for the work permit.

Nigerian passport can ruin your entire image and reputation the moment you bring it out outside Naija
