phemmy28: Hello house, I have an issue. I have got match tickets and applied for my fanID, I got a notification that it has arrived in Abuja and paid for courier services via vfs website to have the fanID delivered to my address in Lagos. Thing is that it has been about 6 working days since I ordered the courier service and I have not got the fanID. I would like to know how long it takes for the courier service to deliver fanID to Lagos from vfs Abuja and also if there is a way to track the whereabouts of the fanID. Thanks. Call them. |

The only VFS center provided when I was applying for a fan id was Abuja center and I live in Lagos. Do I have to travel to Abuja for pickup? You can go to Abuja or have it shipped to you. When your fan ID is delivered, you can go to their site. Everything is there. |

Penisinpenisout: Very soon Nigeria and Nigerians as a whole would be the least, or the bottom citizens of the world. We are soo mediocre, it's painful to watch. Travelled to some countries in East Africa and most people never heard of internet fraud before. Why do West African's lack morals? So backward in everything, preach the reverse of everything.
I challenge you to name a continent whose Moral Values are as lowly as ours. Fraud is fraud whether internet or not. There's romance scam Kenya that are popularly know as the" beach boys". GTFO! |

Crime › Re: Yomi Shogunle Warns Yahoo Boys Relocating From Lagos Because Of EFCC by BedLam: 9:32am On May 13, 2018 |
There's crime and cyber criminals in every country with teeming youths and internet. The US and China account for a greater part of it with sophistication. Even North Korea ho overboard with state sponsored criminals.
We always love to fight the battle while ignoring the root cause of it.
If things have been going well since year 2000 in this country, I bet we wouldn't have much fraudsters but hope in this country is in another life. Every crime has its root causes and we are blaming fraudsters who the govt has neglected for a long time. If not for Yahoo, armed robbery would be tripled by now.
On the economic side: after Oil I think Yahoo brings in the largest forex. Take it or leave it!
We will only succeed in chasing them to other countries like Ghana and SA. I bet you don't know how much they invest in boosting those countries economy.
Develop this nation and fraud will decrease as people will start realizing their dreams.
Some of them planned to be engineers, sailors or name it. But Nigeria is a dream killer! |

bjolat: I'm good with words, but I still dunno how to go about this. I'm a struggling undergraduate with minimal financial help from home, this means I have to struggle a lot, and spend only when necessary. Things have gotten worse by the day, and today I woke up with nothing to eat, cannot even go to church because there is practically nothing to live on this week. I'm in dire need of help from well meaning people, don't know how much longer I can hold on. 0123684771, GTB. Doesn't necessarily have to be financial help, but I really do need succour asap Aren't you lucky that you have a phone that has internet? I bet the internet isn't free. If you can't go through school because if financial help, then drop out and hustle to make money first before you go back to school. You don't need to go to school and if you have legs and hands you shouldn't be hungry. If food is your major concern, go and work for a restaurant. Why waste the little resources your parents have on your education in a country where being naked pays more than reading ? Please! |

Afam4eva: I stayed in the Island of Mauritius for about two years and that was the first time i ever felt relaxed and happy in my life because of the parks, beaches and relaxation spots which were even close to my house. But i noticed that some Nigerians that i came in contact with were telling me of how they missed Nigeria, especially Lagos. Whenever i enquired from them what exactly they missed, they all said the same thing. The clubs, bar, joint, isi-ewu, Nkwobi, loud music and the chaos that lagos exemplifies and i wonder how some Nigeria like hard life like this.
If not for the economic value of Lagos, i wold have moved to a much slower and clam city. Thank you. Lagos is for suffering. They spend half the day in traffic and go drink and eat on weekends and call it enjoyment. No parks to even relax. No place for children. No nice golf courses or beaches. Meanwhile in Berlin you see people trooping out this time of the year to enjoy the sun the parks and city centers. I'm feeling sick already. |

Ask questions and move around. Mate I've been living in Lagos for the past 8 years and as I'm typing I'm at Kofo Abayomi which somehow the heart of Victoria Island and Lagos as a whole. What are you then saying ? Name one thing I can do that doesn't involve going to a restaurant or mall. Cinema? Phew. |
Travel › Opinion: Lagos Is A Boring City. by BedLam(op): 7:50pm On May 12, 2018 |
Honestly, I think Lagos is one hell of a boring city. As big and populated as it is you can't find anywhere for recreation. Yes, there are bars and restaurants and night clubs but do we have to eat and drink all the time ? There's some form of relaxation or activity one can do that doesn't involve any if the above but this is not the case with Lagos. Even the malls in Lagos are the worst that I've seen. Bland with no taste of architecture or arena for even kids. The beaches are nothing to write about, it's still all about drinking and eating there. I feel sick whenever I have an extended stay in Lagos because it's killing and I like to do things and go to places. You barely find bars that have snooker. WTF! For anyone who thinks Lagos is not boring should visit Nairobi or Johannesburg or Capetown. |
