First of all, this is a lamentation/seek advice/help your guy thread. So biko if you know your fingers are itching to type something insensitive just read and go, we can't be battling recession, heartbreak and still be having time for bad belleism.

So there is this pretty lady I met here on nairaland, she is got an amazing smile and a warm personality. One thing led to another and suddenly we are constantly in touch off the forum, she showed me how to love, taught me to be a gentleman, in my mind I thought things were entering the relationship realm only for her to bring me crashing back to earth with the excuse of we are going too fast. I mean we weren't going too fast when we called each other close to 10 ten times, we weren't going too fast when we shared dreams of the future, we weren't going too fast when we were flirting like two teenagers who just discovered the pleasures their bodies yield.

Would really appreciate some words of advice please. I'm really sad. No judgmental posts posse.

I conceived my first child when I was dating my boyfriend, now husband and then we got married shortly after I fell pregnant. We had planned to get married even before I got pregnant but when I got pregnant, we then decided to bring the date forward. It was a very difficult period for me because my mum really made me feel bad. I repented to God from a heart of genuine sincerity and sought his forgiveness which I received by his grace. I fell short of the glory of God but God forgave me and had mercy on me.

Fast forward to a year plus after my wedding. My son is now 6 months and we would like to dedicate him in church. We have however been told that the church will not accept him for the regular dedication process where the parents dance out to the front of the church alongside close relatives and friends. What the church has said is that we can only do a private dedication service in a different room after the service. I'm devastated.


My son is innocent and pure. He was conceived from a sinful act but God has forgiven us. I've now been happily married to my husband and father of my child for more than a year. Is it therefore fair for the church to treat my son like he's an outcast and not worthy of being celebrated openly and publicly?


I feel so humiliated and wanted to cancel the dedication and do it in a church where h will be openly celebrated and received as a wonderful gift from God which my darling son is. My husband has accepted it but I'm struggling to do so. The church is supposed to be about love. What is the biblical basis for saying that my son cannot be pubclily dedicated?


Would really like some views here. Should I cancel the dedication and do it somewhere else or go ahead with the private/ secret dedication?

Yes she was.She regained her eye-sight.Will still need oxygen but is due back in India for the doctors to see what they can do about her lungs.

You forgot to mention that she was blind but after the doctors fixed the issue, now she can see.This God is too good ohh.We thank God for the doctors knowledge too.

Double g is a 10week old male Caucasian puppy. Beey playful and highly intelligent. Last night at about 22.30hours, he was a victim of food aggression by an older female boerboel. The two year old female boerboel (Tessy) attacked him and caused him severe injury on his head, which made one of his eyeballs to pop out. All I was able to do was stop the blood, treat the in hired parts. Then came the eye part, I tried using dextrose saline soaked cotton wool to push the eyeball back in, but it kept on popping out. Then I used the cotton wool to cover the eye and then bandaged the eye hoping it will remain like that till this morning when I'll be able to take him to a vet. Then I hand fed with milk and glucose. This morning he was taken to the vet clinic, he haD his eye Stitched and was placed on infusion. Different injections given him as well. I really pray and hope he survives all this.

LOL, so how do I come in the puppy story?
