ileobatojo: I'm telling you. Papa Fed is out there playing like its 2005. Venus played great aggressive tennis. Serena on the other hand was busy pushing the ball back and setting up the ball for her opponent to attack. Very disgraceful play from her.

Maybe she is still heartbroken from breaking up with her coach in February (according to rumor). I don't see her mentally getting over these losses anytime soon.

She believes otherwise. she has a strong confidence she will finish top in the ranking at the end of the season. Hopefully, she can turn around her fortune at the US open.

Her unbelievable comeback in games are seriously missing this season..... If she doesn't come back strong, she still remains one of the greatest female players who graced the tennis court.

I think it's time to fire coach cum ex-lover. She should probably take a long break to regroup mentally. It's been a very shocking year for her.

As for her match today, she played complete crap! I can't get over how terribly she played, she was very lucky to have won the first set, because it's not like she played great tennis to win it. What a stunning, stunning result! So sad.

I think she has/had been mixing too much of pleasure with business this season. Her performances so far are nothing to write home about especially this Wimbledon. come to think of it, its not as if she had twins like Fedex

Venus is even playing better.... I support the part that she needs to take a break.

Old age is a big factor with her ... She plays more with flair now compared to her aggressive old-self. Sharapova is presently the queen of groans and noise on court. Sometimes I do wonder if it is tennis she plays or modelling with her steppings on court.....

Azarenka is yet to recover from her injury, early exit...... I admire Venus' spirit, despite what she went through, she has refused to quit tennis.
