aisha2: I know someone who holds so much anger against his dad and we have been trying to talk with him to let go but anytime he lets his guard down small the father will call with silly demands and resentment starts again.
Tell the guy to watch this movie by Eddie Murphy "A thousand words".

charles316: Engineering Technologist
how about this? How do I know if the minimum requirement for Engineering Technologist is advanced diploma or bachelors?
You will need to check the Australia's skills and occupation website (ASRI) or something. It has all the details about qualifications and job specifications for all occupations.

Your qualifications must be assessed to at least equal to Australian Bachelor's degree before you can be assessed positive.

onegig: I thought i was the only one that noticed that. People go into marriage with this conditioning and not fix things, make extra effort and be happy believing it is according to the golden rule of marriage that "the first year and few years is always hard". Says who? Based on what stats?

If you don't enjoy marriage at the early stage when do you want to? When the teeth are falling off already?
Misconceptions and falsehood perpetrated as the truth over the years are part of the reasons why a lot of union experience turmoils and difficulties. The first few years and beyond can be without any difficulties and this is not downplaying minor agreements in the path of adjusting to each other.

Is this a universal law? I always hear this but don't believe this falsehood.

Why ask question when you have the key that unlocks her heart? huh huh huh

Your arrangement of the room shows to her that you are concerned about her not only in words but in action. The reduction of the chores for her is enough to forgive you easily considering that you are always comfortable watching TV or playing games without minding domestic chores.

xtassie: Thanks for your contribution, our earlier stage of dating was challenging cos he was too attached and tells all to his mom, not necessarily reporting but asking for their advice or I see it as he gossips me but he is has changed not 100 percent sha and I see him trying to make the effort to be better ,that is the only challenge I have with him other than that he treats me like a queen and I can honestly say I am happy in the Relationship that was why I was quite shocked when I saw the sand and blocks used for the building. All I want to know is if I was not considerate to him telling him to abandon a land he has on a platter of gold to buy from a nearby community,(I feel that was what made him start the building behind my back) I wouldn't mind if he was not so attached to mama ( his mom is Ill with a terminal disease) so I try to understand why he wants to see her all the time, but I fear is that he may go back to his being a mama's boy wen he moves since mom would be always around.. And I need my privacy
I hereby withdraw my statement above. Your guy needs to build his house inside his mum's compound if possible.

Meanwhile, you can iron out the surprises he usually give you. Let him understand you are not comfortable with it but for his mum's part, please don't go there. The mum should enjoy her last days with her loved ones including your guy.

Family › Re: How Does One Deal With A Gossip Addict Wife? by bellong: 9:57pm On Jul 29, 2014
RedBenson: No insult to female folk but some women can really be annoying. Imagine having a wife who goes around gossiping like there will be no tomorrow. Mehn, so annoying! I've this closed person (wouldnt state my relationship with him) whose wife is a gossip addict. This woman can be so lost when it comes to gossiping. If she returns from work, she wont reach house when she would stop by road side to gossip. When going to church, market etc, all she does is stopping by the road side to gossip. The husband has even beaten her severally over this but she seems relentless. How many times has she not put food on fire untill it gets burned while she was busy gossiping with neighbours? The other day, their entired apartment was flooded cos she opened tap to fetch water on a bucket, she left within the time expecting the bucket to get filled when she forgot herself gossiping with a neighbour untill the entired apartment was flooded. I think this woman really needs help. How can one help her or is it just a personal thing?
So you are a friend to a woman Wife beater?? huh huh huh shocked shocked shocked shocked

JuanDeDios: I know it will be a great relief for me if this life were to end this very minute - drowning, road crash, Ebola, stray bullet, poison, I won't care. I have made enquiries about getting a job in Iraq or Borno State but nothing yet. Anyway, I know I don't have whatever it is it takes to take that step and end it with my own hands - so no suicider I am.
If you wanna be a suicide bomber, there is a slot I can fill you in........ cheesy cheesy

The troubles you see today will become a story tomorrow... Hang in there and keep pushing on.

I wonder why people are always scared when it comes to marriage.

You don't get scared when to choose a friend or acquaintance, why should marriage be a thorn in the flesh.

I am sure of a thing, for everyone that is sincere with no filthy lucre or deep seated selfish intention and very diligent in looking for the right things will not be miserable in marriage. Not downplaying the "God-factor" that is very important.

So Lady, have an open mind, destroy the fear factor in you and have a realistic expectation which shouldn't be compromised. Most times, fear of what we nurture as humans have a way of working out in one's life. An ancient man once said, "What I fear most has befallen me".

May you find the right man you seek

beautyuche: Thank you so much that was helpful. It seems institutions are quite expensive anything less than $5k fees in first year.Anyone with info in this?
That information is what you can do by visiting their sites. However, I don't think you can get a University where you pay 5k in first year. You should be looking at minimum of 15k (if there is a very cheap one).

Goodluck

beautyuche: Goodday All,

I will need help here. For sumone who just have waec and neco result and will want to study nursing in australia what is the process where will she start from?will they accept her and her child into school ?will she be able to work to catter for their need?

Your kind response will be appreciated.
If you have O'level result, that can give you access to an undergraduate study in Nursing. It is left for you to search through schools you can afford the fees.

You will be admitted provided you meet the entry qualification (If you have good O'level result and functional English). The child will equally be admitted into school but I am not sure if it will be free or you have to pay.

pickabeau1: It is really sad though global politics, christain powers and the Holocaust played a HUGE part
The extreme superiority complex of the Isreali is also a big factor. I only wish the Palestinians will respect the lives of their citizens. Over the years, they should have known that the Jews have superior fire power with the world powers clandestinely behind them. It is a lose-lose situation for the Palestinians.
