Nashville: Bros, if you have life, a blissful home, a healthy child (you missed the wife) and a glorious tomorrow, then this year has been good to you. As my Pastor will say, when it is darkest, then it is almost morning. My prayer for you is that your joy will overflow in 2014 in Jesus name.
A resounding amen to your prayer..... I didn't miss the wife... She is the embodiment of the blissful home... cheesy grin

I usually don't make any resolution yearly, I practically resolve to be better person than I was yesterday. I die daily. In essence, my resolution for next year remains what it is for today "To become a better person by the day...".

Starting from July, I have had series of bad news and events that happened to those around me and myself. This December crowns it all. This is one of the lowest moments of my life. This year has not been that good to me, had to contend with many things like Paul said, "....After the manner of men, I fought with beasts at Ephesus..."

Nevertheless, if the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

I thank God for the gift of life, for a blissful home, a super healthy child and the promise of a glorious tomorrow.

Wishing you all a 2014 filled with tremendous testimonies......

Favourhascome: So cool.thanks much much.. Pls wats steak nd green salad I dnt rily understand dn aw do I get salami in lag . Must I grate d carot or just eat it lik dat
Steak is cow meat that is sliced perpendicular to the muscle fibre. Green salad depends on the type of vegetable you will add to it. Its something like what is in the attached picture. For effective consumption, it is advised that the carrot be grated. However, you can eat it like that since its still the same carrot. Only trying to reduce the crushing pain.. cheesy

Well, I hope she was certified medically fit before being discharged from the hospital. Does she show any traits of behaviour unlike her after childbirth? Does she react angrily at issues and you everytime since she gave birth?

I asked to know if she doesn't have postpartum depression. If she has, she needs help immediately and if she doesn't, she needs you now more than before.

Childbirth is not an easy task, it takes time for the body to readjust to normal. During the process of readjustment, it is usually stressful for women coupled with sleepless nights as well as the psychological effect of caring for the baby.

My brother, endure this period, it is a temporary phase that shall pass. Now is the time to truly show her that love you daily profess.

May God be with the baby.

Do you have excess adipose tissue and you are troubled by this? Have you tried to shed some weight with no success? Are you disciplined enough with food and diet to try this?

If you answer YES to the above, I have a tested diet to help you in losing that excess weight/fat of yours in two weeks. It is strictly natural and disciplined diet. It is called "The Swedish Diet..."

Anyone who strictly follows the Swedish diet is expected to lose between 7 and 20Kg in two weeks. However, the most important feature of the diet is that it changes the body metabolism not to add any more weight for two (2) years.

During the course of the diet, other than the specified drinks- tea, coffee or juice, additional drink must not be taken. In addition, salt and sugar must not be used outside the specified quantity. The vegetables must also be done according to specification and calculations. Two (2) litres of water must be taken daily for effective result. The diet should not exceed the specified 13 days. The diet should not be repeated within short period like 3 months.

RULES

1. Additional tea, coffee and soft drinks should not be taken.

2. Two (2) litres of water must be taken daily.

3. The diet must not exceed the specified 13 days.

4. You can discontinue with the diet after 6 days if you think its too much for you to handle.

5. Do not repeat the diet in a period of three months.

6. You can replace the lunch for dinner and vice-versa for the same day.

Please find in the next column the 13 day diet plan
Family › Re: How To Control Incest In The Family? by bellong: 9:36am On Dec 30, 2013
Op,

The first step to complete healing is voicing out which you have done. Next, is to forgive the person who wronged you. I know this part is very difficult to do but His grace is available to accomplish it. From your comment, you are still bitter about him and you still nurse silent hatred for the guy.

Find a way in your heart to forgive him completely so as to free yourself from bitterness, resentment and hatred. Your peace will know no bounds when you do this and God will restore you completely. Your part in this process is forgiveness.

If you have any opportunity to see the guy again, tell what he did to you and how you have forgiven him of his atrocities. Let him understand that he needs help if he is yet to be free from his promiscuity.

About your brother, apologize to him for exposing him early to it and try to find ways to reach out to him in listening to your advices. If possible, get real life example to back up your advice on how his path will lead to destruction if he doesn't desist now. Above all, keep praying for him. I pray that the transformation power of God visit him.

Finally, you need to forgive yourself and do not let your past destroy the beautiful and glorious future ahead of you. Begin to see men and people generally according to the content of their character and not based on the painful past experience. Start to see relationship as a gift to be enjoyed and not for sexual pleasure. Be renewed in your mind and may God help you through.

I wish you well in all you do.
Family › Re: ''help! She Took Our Plasma TV To Church As Seed Offering!'' by bellong: 9:21am On Dec 30, 2013
It is not biblical for a wife to give offering in the church without the consent of the husband. If the husband demands the TV back, he has sinned against nobody.

It is very very wrong of the Pastor not to ask if the woman's husband is in the know of the offering. It shows that he is only interested in the gift not the wholesome spiritual development of the sheep. Pathetic.

This is a call to husbands to be the priest of their own house rather than allow their wives to be tossed about with every wind of doctrine.

Love sometimes involves letting go.... When it is a matter of marriage, you will only set yourself up for future pains and regrets if you beg a man to marry you. Once a man says no, please move on with your life, another will come. Nobody's destiny is attached permanently to a person for marriage.

You were advised thoroughly in those two threads, yet you are still here lamenting over spilled milk. Why are you bent on dying there? Is there something with the guy you think you can't live without? Sincerely, If I were your dad, my blessings will not be on this union even if the guy changes his mind due to your relentless begging. I wouldn't allow my daughter turn herself to a cheap commodity to any man who wouldn't value her...

Abeg don't sell yourself cheap. However, you can keep begging if you think you are hopeless and he is the only hope left for you.

I wish you well.............

Some people married when they were 25 but didn't give birth until mid thirties, yet they had no trouble with childbirth. However, if you are so concerned about the age difference, do not sow emotional seed in the lady. Let her go...

Family › Re: Just Discovered I Have A 9 Year Old Daughter by bellong: 9:05am On Dec 27, 2013
Op,

How do I advice you on what you didn't do intentionally (going by your explanation)? You are scared of how your wife will take the issue.

There is an adage in Yoruba, "No matter how big a statement is, you wouldn't use a knife to dissect it.." Meaning, no matter how difficult

something is, the only option is to talk about it. The earlier you tell her, the better. Its not as if you hid the information intentionally. She is

your wife and I expect her to trust her husband except you have been putting yourself in positions where her trust for you has eroded.

To make things easier for you, talk to your mum and dad, arrange with the family of this your ex in agreement with her husband and call a family meeting for all party to be present. Your ex will explain how she lost contact with you and couldn't get in touch when she delivered. This open discussion with the presence of your ex-husband should give your wife a free mind about the situation.

If after doing this, your wife doesn't take things easy, I will say she needs Jesus... cheesy cheesy

It is well

Family › Re: To My Future Husband by bellong: 11:45am On Dec 26, 2013
OP,

I understand your frustration and exhaustive patience. However, He makes all things beautiful in His time and not our time. A lot of single ladies have made terrible and life threatening mistake because of impatience.

While waiting for the right man, keep adding values to yourself, study good and bad marriages to learn how a home should be, read books and enjoy your singlehood to the maximum in a godly way. "The vision may tarry, wait for it, it shall speak..." You need to exercise patience and trust God with all your heart. Need I add that this is the time you should draw closer to God not for what He can give but pleasing and doing His will.

So my sister, do not let your age or pressure from any source push you to do what is not right. Do not mind people talking about you closing to 30. I wonder the importance of the age if one lives a useless life.

NB: maybe I should open an advocate center where I can educate parents who mount pressure on their children about marriage. Nobody should be pressurised to marry nor given time table on how to live his/her life. If you can't handle their pressure, call on me and I promise you they will never ask you question about marriage again till you are ready.
