Politics › Re: CAN Rejects Muslim/Muslim Presidential Ticket. Says This Is Not 1993 by benardtotti(m): 10:53pm On Jun 10, 2022 |
Aboki99: We are talking about Apc and the possibility of a muslim/muslim ticket.
Almost all northerners will indeed vote Atiku en bloc if Apc goes Muslim/Xtian.
Yes, the first criteria for northern muslims is religion. Both Tinubu and Atiku pass this test.
Then don't forget the second consideration is region. With a Tinubu/Christian ticket, the norther muslims will rather go for Atiku. Blood is thicker than water. So how did Jonathan win in 2011 and beat both Atiku and Buhari ? 2 heavyweight Muslims? Pls explain |

Guyman02: India is now importing 25X more oil from Russia this year. The Ukraine war is between the International Community (western countries) and the Global Majority (Rest of the world)
There's food crisis in the West and baby food shortages in America because Ukraine has put antiship mines in the Black sea and grains can't be exported. Russian Ruble is trading at a 7 year high and Euro is down leading to 50 year record inflation in Germany, the EU is simply cutting off its nose to spite it's face Leave the OP in his delusions , the honest truth is the west know they goofed but pride won't let them back down, same way Putin knows he miscalculated but pride won't make him back down, this is going to be a long war with very serious economic consequences for all parties. |

Funflipper: Of course I will cry because Nigeria is a circular nation and not islamic so there is no basis for this analogy. There is a basis , Muslims have right of association same as Christians and if they decide to join league of Islamic nations you can't shout islamization cos they have a cogent reason to , same way you assume Ukraine have a cogent reason to join Nato ( after all not all Ukrainians support that move ) . |

texazzpete: As expected, you lack basic comprehension skills.
I took the pains to point out to you that since this war isn’t a matter of doctrine, it is accepted that the Pope can be mistaken.
Why am I not surprised that even such a simple point eludes your comprehension?
The time you spend looking for more imbecilic words to reply me, you could have used it to seek out a good night school near your area for some much needed adult education. You are the one confusing your pathetic self ,St no Point in my argument did I ever talk about doctrine it is you who brought that up, what I called you out for was making the daft statement that the Pope was ignorant of matters, you are a dunce so I don't expect you to understand, and of course your ego won't make you drop the topic ,accept you goofed and move on. Illiterate arm chair analyst. |

texazzpete: Even if you or your folks don't own dictionaries, why would you not avail yourself of one of the excellent online dictionaries out there?
And I know for sure you cannot be a Catholic. Because the catechism says that the Pope can be considered infallible in matters of doctrine. Nowhere in the catechism does it say the Pope knows everything outside doctrine or cannot make mistake.
Educate yourself, worm.
https://www.catholic.com/tract/papal-infallibility
So when you blab about '3 billion catholics', I wonder if you have your wits about you?
You won't check your dictionary. You clearly didnt read your catechism books. What use are you, anyway? Dullard being a daft you are, you had to go quickly enlighten yourself, meanwhile since you are still dull ,you mixed matters of state with religion, we are talking about politics here and not catechism or the papal book of rules or conduct but as usual fellows like you who litter nairaland as online critics don't understand simple things . |

You clearly are an ignoramus. You are obviously daft to understand what lexicons are, go back and check what ignorance and ignoramus are , arm chair analyst who thinks he knows better than the Pope of a sovereign state and over 3b catholics . |

Funflipper: Of course the pope is an old school shmuck who is still stuck in WW2 era just like putin otherwise he would have known that Ukraine is a sovereign nation and they have every right to associate with any country they deemed fit. Good so next time buhari and Co draft Nigeria into an Islamic league of nations don't come crying islamization they are only practicing the right of association with other countries. |

Pope Francis has no clue about the war, and he’s not an expert in these matters. His statement on the matter was extremely unwise, shameful and disappointing, and I say that as a Catholic. This has got to be the dumbest post I ever read on nairaland on this war , the Pope according to you is an ignoramus ,lol smh ! Niece: A Nigerian activist and Pastor of Mind of Christ Christian Center, Reno Omokri has reacted to Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s second marriage.
Earlier today, the Nollywood actor had posted a picture of himself and his son whom he welcomed with his second wife.
The post generated many reactions by celebrities and fans.
A loyal follower of Reno Omokri called his attention to it and asked for his views concerning Yul Edochie’s second marriage.
Reacting to it, the pastor stated that being polygamous is not bad. “Polygamy is not a sin”, he said. Reno went further and said that God Himself gave David many wives. He drew his submission from 2 Samuel 12:18.
The pastor made it known that polygamy is scriptural and only forbidden for bishops and elders of the church.
Pastor Reno said that it’s saddened that the Africans accepted the concept of monopoly which according to the clergyman, is the constructure of the Western world. His statement reads;

I am only upset that Nigeria is not even a player in the global industry to take advantage of this gas wealth.
Whatever happened to our NLNG plants. This is long term and can't save them short term , if it was a short term solution they would have boycotted Russian gas when they began giving out sanctions, oil and gas industry is not an immediate venture that can be done within 24 hours between 2 countries so for now Germany and Co need to humble themselves and negotiate with Putin . If Putin was actually wicked all he needs to do is turn of gas supply to Europe for just 24 hours I can assure you Europe will boil over with protests and death. |
