Next2Bezee: Money does not make anyone above the law. Where is it against the law for helicopter to pick up passengers even if it is one stuck in traffic in the middle of no where? The same government that did not fix road that cause traffic will also investigate how come you found a means to avoid the traffic caused by them. Smh |

Caleb17: The fear of EFCC is the beginning of wisdom. EFCC can't wait to quiz the billionaire if his identity is revealed. But who is this person that the whole crowd couldn't see his face? That helicopter belongs to TAL logistics. It picked up one of their directors that was stuck in traffic. The guy had an important business meeting and was late. Google the board of TAL. One of the fellows there is the suspect. |

How much do you think it cost to charter a jet? Say from Abuja to Lagos?
You want to laugh, let the entire nairaland know what's inside the head of a man that thinks he knows. Google the "fixed cost" to run an average light jet for an 1 hour. Not with profit. Just operating cost. Then you know who has trash in his head. |

itsme01:

Naija people.sef, Caverton and OAS would use their helicopter to pick you up at anywhere, and their charges aint so outrageous.
An hour charter of helicopter is around 250 - 300k with top charter company like Caverton, other smaller company would collect far less especially if you are a frequent flier or your company has ofshore contracts.
One village maga quoting me down there even said $12,000 per hour... mugu plenty for naija i swear.... execujets starts at $3k -$5k for a fixed wing private jet, before qouting me to argue nonsense please be reasonable and get a qoutation on the chater companies websites. No time for childish arguements.
. Oga speak of what you know. Caverton charges oil companies averagely $10k per hour because they have long term contracts. It cost more for ie $11-12k per hour for short term hire. And yes it cost more to charter a chopper than a fixed wing in Nigeria. That helicopter belongs to TAl aviation and had to pick up one o their directors that was late for a meeting with a multinational company. I wonder where all these stories of one billionaire or the other is coming from. |

aolawale025: The army should take the fight to bokoharam Thank you jare. Why is Nigeria army always on the defensive? Boko Haram should be on the defensive while our army should be offensive! They should be on the run and being chased. Pls Google how the South African meceneries successfully defeated Boko Haram late 2014 to 2015 before the elections. According to them Boko was always on the run with no place to rest. There was relentless attacks on them by the army. When they attacked them those that escape will be monitored by air assets. They will then ferry by helicopters to lay ambust on their route of escape to decimate them. Buhari came in and fired the mecinaries claiming he was a general and will lead by the front. Hence our current predicament |

sunnymaja: Even Tinubu they call names dont get 28% of revenue collected. How can one collect 28% and still refused to remit 72%? Why did pdp government allowed it in the first instance? Why was it not done like lagos state where individual share of revenue is done at source and no one needs to settle the other. And this man wants to govern Nigeria - then, Obasanjo may be right on his comments regarding him "Why was it not done like lagos state where individual share of revenue is done at source and no one needs to settle the other" Are you sure about the above statement? Because twice I had to make payments for fines I paid to alpha betta consulting account. The last time was 2 years ago when the number plate on my vehicle was removed by Lagos state task force. I assume AB collects the revenue and then deducts its percentage before remitting to LASG. |

Hotfreezers: Keep deceiving yourself.
Go and look at the video of the Togolese beating traders in the market. All those beaten were Nigerians and the report stated that they specifically targeted Igbos.
In India today, their policemen tell Igbos apart from other Nigerians and once they profile you as Igbo, you automatically become a suspect.
In Asia, those being executed in Asian countries are all Igbos.
In China, the former Eze Ndigbo China died in shady circumstances but it was reported to be as a result of narcotics. Presently, hundreds of Igbos are in Chinese prisons.
In South Africa, go and check the Nigerians being killed. Most of them are Igbos and it is as a result of narcotics trade by igbos in SA.
In Cameroun and Equatorial Guinea just recently, Igbo traders were targeted.
You can keep hiding behind one finger but the truth is that Igbos outside Nigeria are being marked as societal negatives and it is causing a wave of Igbophobia which would limit the travel benefits of Igbos in the next decade.. Its not just with igbo, you find crime committed by all tribes in Nigeria. After all seun egegbe is not igbo. I condemn crime by all. I condemn the desperation for fast money by all tribes especially the igbo. The rush to get to the front by any means disregarding due process. You can see the mentality in traffic. Little holdup and you see stupid people thinking they are smart drive through on coming traffic only to block the way and compound issues. Few Nigerians are causing problems for the rest of us hard working majority. |

TooNoisy: Why are the IPOB children so happy about this kind of news? I thought 2023 was their turn. They keep hating on Yoruba meanwhile by 2023, the SW would have produced 8 years of President, 8 years of VP and 8 years of Speaker. The most the Igbos have had is 8 years of Senate President. The unfortunate thing for the SE is that they do not have one credible person to even present to be voted for. Not one.
Let me just make it plain. Power is returning to the South West in 2023. Nothing can stop that - not some mischievous AYCF who have been paid. Buhari will support a SW candidate and we have already seen all the signs especially with Gbaja's emergence as speaker and Fayemi's emergence as Chairman of Governors forum.
Even if the PDP fields a Northerner, an APC candidate from the South West will defeat him. Abiola defeated Tofa in 1993, Obasanjo defeated Buhari in 2003 and Osinbajo/Tinubu/Fayemi will defeat any Northern candidate from PDP in 2023. lol |

gbosaa: There is no insecurity. It’s a plan from some evil mastermind to force people into the trains. If you are scared of driving through that route, you’d find an alternative to reach your destination.
Trains must generate revenue for the government and make the stakeholders look good. The project will be a failure if the masses don’t use it. Hmmm I no look am from that angle oh. I think that is far fetched though or rather extreme. |

Meanwhile, Pls I want to sell my Laptop to pay my school fee. Lenovo G550, 4GB RAM, HDD 250GB. Still in good condition and working perfectly Location is Apata, Ibadan. Check my signature for my contact number. Thank you Price is 40k See all they need to stop a train is to dislodge the tracks with little dynamite or probably sledge hammer and the bandits will have a full load of of "goods" delivered to them in the bush. I only see this train service as a temporal relieve. The bandits will wise up. The solution is to take the fight to the bandits and sort out the issue once and for all. |

Government must first deal with the herdsmen and then deal decisively with the militias Ok. Keep waiting for government to do something. Have you not smelt the body odor from this government? |

simplesearch: Our Governors should wake up and handle this herdsman issue with the kind of seriousness it deserves, lives are been wasted now and then without remedy, it's also time the president make a definite pronouncement about this killings he should work on the positive side of prosperity by calling this herdsmen to order otherwise each state should be given free hand to defend their colony by any legitimate means available if the centre is overwhelmed by the situation. People becoming orphans, windows, widowers, refugees by people who pretend to know and serve the God they know not, it's saddening and demoralising seeing people suffer for no fault of theirs. We have lost it all in this country, our milk of human sympathetic has been eroded by our very own wickedness and evil plot. whoever kills his fellow man will definitely perish in Hell even if your religious view holds a contrary opinion. So you actually expect Buhari to do something about his brothers? Keep waiting. The unfortunate thing is that after the next 4 years they will be too entrenched to resolve. |
