Bullshit friend, Bull shit. cheesy. The goalkeeper is the last man. He should be able to see through the lapses, and shout Ekong's head off. Shout and apologize later. cheesy. Na you dem go call Apere. grin

That should be the work of ekong for Christ sake

He's partly at fault. In fact, I'll mostly blame the second on him. When the first went in, him come be like "the goal weak me". cheesy. The guy wasn't communicating with his players. After the first goal, you for shout for their head, make Rohr hear for bench, maybe it would have forced the below-average coach to make the required changes. Exceptional players lose concentration too. He got the no 1 spot by favouritism, so how about he proves his competence. Anytime he falters, i'll always refer to the fact that you got there by a combination of luck and favouritism. If you think you are any better, act and shut me up. It's that simple.
Karlovich:
None of the goals he conceded were his fault, his defenders left him exposed

Stop this bullshit, my friend. cheesy. Calm down. Neither Akpeyi nor Osigwe manned the post, so either scenario could have ended in tears as well. cheesy. But, well coulda, woulda, it never happened. My people say, na the one wey we see we dey talk. One of our historians mentioned that the last time such a thing happened was in 2007. I have not had the time to verify. Which kain badluck go make keeper concede 4 goals? cheesy. I don't what that kind of keeper. As others have opined, he's no better than the rest of them. Nothing special. He's probably even worse. He doesn't communicate with his players. You no fit shout for their head, make dem no turn you to Apere? cheesy grin. As them score you the first ogal, shout for their head. He come dey do like nothing happen. Nonsense. cheesy
1realBobby:
Make una stop this nonsense... If Rohr had started Akpeyi or osigwe yesterday, they wouldn't have done better... or maybe they would've... it's uncertain.

But one thing is sure.. If rohr started someone else in his stead yesterday, and the person ended up conceding 4 goals, you would be the first to lambast rohr for not sticking with okoye. Humans are truly insatiable angry

In fact self, tell me which of those goals came as a result of a direct error from Okoye? His hands were tied on all occasions. there was barely nothing he could do

Na joke, actually. But i still don't think he's any better than the others. He's not been really tested. He's not made any impossible save. He doesn't inspire confidence too. Nonetheless, In spite of the criticism, none of our goalies have conceded this many goals. Whatever this is.
charlesemeka85:
i watch the highlight of the game last nyt via youtube and to be honest non of the goals was his fault

Have i ever used racist in any of my arguments? Stop this bullshit. cheesy. In one of my posts, i made a factual statement. We have been hiring white coaches for a very long time and all but 2 have failed terribly. So why keep wasting your money on them. There are a lot of factors that could account for this, including the fact that most of them are not well acquainted with our environment and thus cannot better harness out talents.
JohnBullMySon:
make una no turn this loss into a racist argument. That Rohr is currently underperforming is not because he is white. Both siasia and olise underperformed. Clemens westerhof will always one of the best coaches we've had. We just need to find a better coach, whether fb or homegrown, it doesn't matter.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 9:12pm On Nov 13, 2020
Una don start with your bullshit arguments ooo. Which coach no need luck? If na luck Keshi take win, give me Keshi. May his soul rest in peace. You people are always finding a way to belittle the excellence of our indigenous coaches. I am very dissapointed that you would even think to utter such a thing. Nonsense.

It's about time we stick to our local coaches. At least we know what we'll get from them. Enough of hiring these average foreign coaches. We have been hiring them for a very long time and barring 1 or 2 of them, they have failed fantastically. cheesy grin. SImple thing Nff, come up with an initiative that sends some of our coaches for training. But ofcourse the fear of a depleting wallet no go make dem do anything to help local coaches grow. cheesy

Sincere! Please. In my book, World-class goalkeeping involves a delivery that lasts for at least 4/5 years. If you think a couple of world-class performances makes a player world-class, you are on your own. I am in no way demeaning his greatness at the goalkeeping position. Far from it. If you had read my comment carefully, you would have noticed that i mentioned that he came close. How many matches are played during the Fifa world cup? Despite his world-class showing especially against Argentina, a match we lost, by the way, he committed some unacceptable blunders too.
But honestly, i would rather not continue with this, the man was great for us. Walking this path may end up rubbishing his contribution. That's something i wanna avoid.
geonyte:
u are never sincere for saying eyeama was never a world class.for someone who was fourth best goalkeeper in FIFA player of the year behind neuer Buffon and Peter cech.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 4:29pm On Nov 12, 2020
True. I don't we have ever had a world-class goalkeeper. Enyeama was very good, and came close but was never world class IMO, and of course, he had a number of world-class performances, which very good goalkeepers occasionally have. I was addressing the "better" point. Nothing else. I do not understand what you mean by ahead. But if you meant he's in a better position to be the No 1 regularly, then yes. A lot of circumstances have contributed to his current position. But i can't help but assume favouritism plays a role here. Only time will tell. I cannot but wish the lad the best, for all our sakes.
IDENNAA:
Well, Uzoho was never world class or anywhere near some if our best goalkeepers in quality. He is actually a work in progress and , yes , currently Maduka us ahead not necessarily better.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 3:49pm On Nov 12, 2020
Maduka is currently better than him? What's your basis for this? I have told you people, refrain from throwing statements around. Statements that are impossible to prove at least for now. In fact, it's rather too short a time to assert that. Maduka has only been playing regularly for Sparta for about a month or so. Why do you people get captivated by momentary success? You can praise someone for their improvement or showing without exaggerating or making assertions that are at the very least moot.
JohnBullMySon:
looks like he is playing only cup games. He can't just walk back into the No 1 spot just like that as maduka is currently better than him. Though I agree that he should be in the team at least.

But the way we talk here sounds as if Uzoho had been performing an enyeama before he went on injury.
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by benji93: 3:44pm On Nov 12, 2020
I agree with the 6-month thing. It was time to try out others, even though he was available. But well our so-called coach in all his wisdom deemed it alright to not play the other goalkeepers. Only time will tell.
elunico:
And has been inactive, 6 months out no be small thing.

That circumstance played out in Maduka's favor.

I wonder where Chelsea fans pull their stats from. For Manchester United alone, he has a total of 31 goals and assists. If I add 3 more from Lisbon, that takes it to 34.
BlueAngel444:
Both Bruno and Havertz have 30G&A contribution in 2020. But the devil is a liar
For clubs
19goals 11 assists Havertz
17goals 13assists Bruno

Anyway check out this picture. Grealish be playing like prime Hazard
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by benji93: 11:59am On Nov 11, 2020
Are you alright? Typical Chelsea fan. Jumping into argument like Agbero. cheesy. I clearly stated since the beginning of the 2019/2020 season. Does that include only 2020?
BlueAngel444:
it's obviously
He gave Havertz 31
Then multipled it by 2 and gave Bruno 62

Havertz stats was the basis of his bullshitting u all along
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by benji93:
I won't repeat this again. Cos you are becoming quite annoying. Go to transfer market, and sum up the total goals and assists since the 2019/2020 season. It's that simple. I never used the word 'earlier' in the context you have used it. Please do not misquote me. I said since the start of the 2019/2020 season. As I have stated, I do not support presenting some stats to serve one's purpose. Why are you starting from January 2020? Why not from the beginning of the 2019/2020 season? If you want to discuss stats, discuss the entire season.

Edit: I just realized your 30 in 31 stat may be bull shit. cheesy. According to planet football as at the 27th of September, Havertz had contributed 27 goals in 28 appearances. Counting form the 27th, he featured in 6 more matches bringing his total to 34. He's featured 2 more times for Germany, bringing his total to 36. That's assuming his initial 27/28 includes his international features, in which case it may not include it. Tell me how you came by 30/31. Note i am in no way disputing the 30-goal contributions. I am disbuting hte number of appearances
schurley:
The 31 goals contribution (goals and assists) are for both club and country in 2020 alone, i still reiterate were does the the Bruno 62 goals contributions you stated earlier in 2019/2020 comes from. You adding his goals and assist from training now to make up for those numbers huh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by benji93: 6:20pm On Nov 10, 2020

timay:

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by benji93: 6:11pm On Nov 10, 2020
The stats for Bruno was culled from transfer market, i mentioned that in my previous post. And i summed up all appearances since the beginning of 2019/2020 season. Read well. cheesy. On Havertz stats, i'll admit i got that wrong actually. What i saw was for the premier league, which i now know wasn't an updated stat anyway. It was a joke anyway, i really wanted him to specify his timeline. The stats would be cleared up anyway. That being said, whichever way you do this, Bruno still comes out on top. If you limit your consideration to the 2020/2021 season, Bruno has made 11 contributions in 11 matches, while Havertz has 7 contributions in 10 matches. It looks like you didn't check Bruno's. If you ask me, that's better. But you still haven't answered my question. When did you start counting the number of goals and assists as in how did you get to 30 total contributions ofr Havertz?
schurley:
This is what prompted my response "Sorry ooo. This year abi this season? Cos the last time i checked Havertz has 1 goal one assist. . Surely he can do better than that."

This season alone Havertz has racked up 4 goals 2 assists in 10 appearances.

Where do you come by this stats shocked "Bruno on the other hand has featured 61 times for Lisbon and Manchester United and has contributed 62 goals and assists"

You pulling out stats out from your imagination now huh
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by benji93: 3:01pm On Nov 10, 2020
Are you ok? cheesy I wanted him to clarify his argument in the context of time. This year as in just 2020, or this year as in 2019/20. By the way, I am not for selecting stats to suit a certain agenda. I'll just start counting from the beginning of the 2019/2020 season, which started on August 9th for the premier league, i believe that's a reasonable timeline to use. According to Transfer market, Havertz has featured 55 times for Leverkusen and Chelsea, and he has contributed a total of 34 goals and assists. Bruno on the other hand has featured 61 times for Lisbon and Manchester United and has contributed 62 goals and assists. I believe the one that has contributed more is clear. Perhaps you can clarify your stats. When did you begin your count from? By the way, i have excluded their goals and assists for their respective countries.
schurley:
Kai Havertz both club and country in 2020 18 goals and 13 assists 31 goal contribution in 30 matches

Stop doing drugs!

What a bunch of crap. You 'agbero' fans never cease to amaze me. I have tried to stay away from engaging you,the other guys here have obviously been avoiding you. It looks like you are well known. cheesy. but i can't just allow you get away with your disrespectful farts. cheesy. Why won't you people learn, en. Fantastic dribbler, passer, Very versatile, Fantastic shooter, yet he could only manage 8 and 6 goals and assists last season. But that's ok, not bad. But it's quite disingenuous to say he's better than Bruno, when the guy posted slightly better stats(important) for less than half the time. Sometimes i wonder, do you people even seriously think about these things before going on your meaningless rants? cheesy. Maybe that's how you guys relate in your thread. Maybe insincerity is your motto. Just maybe. cheesy. Now carry your load go back and go back to your thread. Those guys obviously can understand you better. cheesy grin
Godx:
Leave timay to be typing spoil. Grealish was Aston Villa main man last season and he was good. Playing for Villa means he is very good at tracking back and helping the defence, he always wants the ball to create, can retain possession in tight spaces, can travel with the ball, can shoot, very good passer, Very versatile, Fantastic dribbler and passer. Very much better than Bruno Pernandes so thank God United didn't buy him. I need klopp to handle him.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by benji93: 3:27pm On Nov 09, 2020
@timay you no too try. I think you got the currency wrong. The guy actually @BlueAngel444 actually included the currency, maybe na because you too dey spend pounds, so you don forget say na Euros the guy dey talk about. But as the civilized people that we are, different from the typical 'Agbero' fans , admit it and move on. cheesy. I no like how you make he use the currency thing pull you into a bottomless pit. But wetin i dey sure of be say Havertz initially cost 72 million pounds. 'pounds' being the key word. cheesy grin

When you are not a serial winner, you would usually make a fuss about short stretches of winningness, as the typical 'Agbero fans' would. cheesy. We are comparing a guy that almost singlehandedly drove a team to a late top 4 campaign last season to a guy that almost got relegated. I would think the difference is quite clear. That being said, he's been slightly better than Bruno Fernandez season. 4 goals and 5 assists is a little better than 5 goals and 3 assists if you ask me. But well we are 8 matches in, let's see if Grealish will keep that energy.
