Vincent enyeama His reflexes were superb and reminded me of the like of Buffon and Pete schmiechel! I could have chosen Joseph Dosu(who is unsurprisingly not on the list) but aside the Olympics feat,he didn't do much for the Super eagles due to a horrible car accident in Nigeria that ultimately ended his football career! |

The comments I see on the first page reeks of total and complete ignorance! The purpose of the strike by NLC was to press home demands that FG were unwilling to settle through diplomatic channels! Once the demands have been adhered to by FG, the strike is suspended pending the full implementation of their demands! Wanting the strike to continue after negotiations or demands have been met is illogical! |

Its not the fault of NLC since the FG that swore on oath to always abide by the rule of law which includes obeying court decisions have set a precedence to always disobey court orders! The reason why politicians esp the legislative do whatever they want is primarily due to the ignorance of the electorates who only think a lawmaker cannot be removed during their 4 year tenure through recall by voting! The reason why aspiring politicians and current governors kick against true federalism is because it gives the governors control over the resources in their own states which requires them to work hard to generate IGR for the state and also makes them accountable! The current unitary system makes governors needy, lazy and irresponsible! Once they pay salaries of civil servants and indulge in one or two humongous projects,they use their media team to make noise about it while flexing the remaining funds at abuja! 8 Likes |
