Why do I have a feeling that this 6 weeks will reveal more of GEJ's Incompetence, desperation & complicity.

People will become even more discontented with this docile & corrupt administration.

I don't think the courts will rule against GEJ or GMB from contesting the elections.

March 28th is judgement day. We are waiting, and will give our 'ruling' against GEJ.

DesChyko:
That's the point isn't it? Why should they be frustrated? Absolutely no reason. Besides, Buhari is coming with a plan to restore Nigerian finances up there hopefully.
What's the big idea behind this aim?
When people feel their right is being trampled upon by the SYSTEM, then they will go to unimaginable length to vent their frustration. In most cases, the victims might not be the 'oppressors' but innocent victims. That is why it becomes necessary to advise everyone to keep calm.

Funny when these politicians warn people to be calm over the postponement.
What would they do?
Confront INEC?
Confront the military?
Confront the President?
Confront PDP or other parties in support?
What exactly?
Make u a victim of their frustration.

How Dafti surrounds himself with low-lives like Obanikoro, Okukpe, FFK, etc is beyond me.

Anyway, wat would one expect from an inept, clueless & corrupt person?

They have postponed the elections so as to buy time to perfect their evil agenda. Little do they know that every step they take now will simply reinforce People's desire to vote them out.

Please, we are waiting for you in the field come March 28th. I just hope u have completed ur house in Otueke.

Politics › Re: Wamakko To Service Chiefs, IGP: Resign Now For Dereliction Of Duties by Bevista:
Insurgency that could not be defeated in 6 yrs will suddenly be defeated in 6 wks. GEJ magic!

Was the elections time table not out more than a year ago? If they genuinely meant well for Nigeria, they wouldn't wait until the 11th hour to decide to address the problem of Boko Haram. Foul Play!

I'm not moved though, cos I know they will fail as usual. Remember, that's the way they asked for 6 months State of Emergency and still failed. Clueless!

This miscalculation on the part of Dafti and his cohorts will backfire, and finally reveal their Incompetence and desperation to the undecided voters. He may even loose some of his followers. More votes for the People's General.

afolag:
wat d sec chief wants is 6 weeks so giving dem a week advance to reschedule isnt a bad thing. u did a good job for bringing that up.
He didn't bring any sh*t up. March 28th and April 11th are exactly 6 weeks from the earlier scheduled dates of Feb 14th and Feb 28th.
Nairaland General › Re: INEC Officially Shifts Nigeria’s Election Date To March 28 And April 11 by Bevista:
So, these cowards have blackmailed INEC & Nigerians (using security) into postponing the elections.

These incompetent lot had more than 1 year to restore normalcy in the Northeast in preparations for the elections, and yet (typically) they failed miserably. Now, suddenly these baboons want Nigerians to trust them to do their job in 6 weeks.

Ok, so now PDP & GEJ have got their wish - sufficient time to perfect their evil agenda. But contrary to their expectations, things will play even more favourably into the hands of #TeamGMB.

One way or the other, come March 28th, this inept government MUST go! Change isn't something that can be postponed or delayed, it can only be accelerated when the time has come.

Politics › Re: Parties’ Positions At The Meeting With INEC On Poll Shift by Bevista:
Ok, someone should please help me explain.

GEJ (the C-in-C) and all security agencies new more than 1 year ago that elections will be holding on February 14th & 28th. Yet the Nigerian government waited till a few weeks to the elections before deciding to tackle BokoHaram.

This is the height of Incompetency and Sabotage.

Jonathan and his cohorts are trying to use security to Blackmail Nigerians into postponing the elections. These criminals have a hidden agenda, which they need more time to perfect.

Politics › Re: Reuben Abati Replies The Economist by Bevista:
We are relieved not to have a vote in this election. But were we offered one we would—with a heavy heart—choose Mr Buhari. Mr Jonathan risks presiding over Nigeria’s bloody fragmentation. If Mr Buhari can save Nigeria, history might even be kind to him.
Now, that was the conclusion from the Economist writer.

Abati can continue to live in denial and self delusion. Whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad.

The Economist is simply echoing the overriding sentiments within the country.

Get used to it. A New Order is upon us!

“Compared with the 2011 General Elections, for instance, our systems are definitely more robust. We believe that we are ready for the elections as planned,” Mr. Jega said.
There is absolutely no reason to postpone elections. INEC is fully prepared and ready - Elections Must Hold!

If there are security challenges in any part of the country, the law permits INEC to postpone elections ONLY in those areas (not country-wide postponement).

Apparently, the PDP needs time to re-strategize on their vile propaganda & campaign of calumny, since the ones they have done so far is not working.

This government (as summarized from the article) is defined by Corruption, Ineptitude, Impunity, Financial Recklessness, Mismanagement, Weakness, Incompetence, etc.

Nigeria, at this auspicious moment in history, is standing on a cliff. If we decide to go forward (with this govt), there is only one sure outcome - fall off and crash!

All patriotic citizens, friends and allies of this great country must join hands and rescue her from PDP, GEJ and the Three Musketeers (PEJ, NOI, DAM).

In any case, that contact info on Domain Tools is most likely that of the webmaster that registered the domain (not necessarily the owner).

General Muhammadu Buhari jettisoned his advertised trip to the United States of America because of the fear of being questioned over his involvement in the post 2011 election violence and his certificate saga.

Are you referring to the same GMB that US Secretary of State (John Kerry) flew all the way down from US to have a meeting with in Nigeria?

Just to score cheap electoral point, I have seen the president (within one month) do a couple of things, like reduce petrol price, visit Maiduguri, finally receive forensic audit report of NNPC, commission rickety trains, bomb sambisa forest, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if he now agrees to publicly declare his asset - anything to remain in Aso Rock and eat N1.5billion food.

Irrespective of the outcome of February 14th, the fear of going back to Otueke creeks have caused the president to act more presidential in the last one month than in the last 6 years.
