Now that is how to show your approval for someone you love and believe in. Not the type that GEJ received in Yola yesterday.

TheSonOfMark:
I suppose that explains it. I am from the Ibibio stock and Akpabio is Annang but I challenge anyone to mention any governor who's performed as well as him. Not even Fashola meets the benchmark.
Just for the records, Gov Attah collected just over 400b in his first 8 years in office (with most of the funds coming in his last 3 yrs). In comparison, Gov Akpabio has been collecting over N400b per year for the Last 7.5 years (over N3trillon in all) due to sustained high oil price.

Just providing some perspective as you praise your 'god'.

Are you trying to compare GMB's and GEJ's credibility? That is a no brainer my dear....in any case Nigerians will have what to say abt that in 2 weeks.

I thought you were going to answer my question on Jonathan's whereabout during the 2011 debate.

Your boss has got everything going against him... i can't even begin to enumerate them hear.

Deal with it dear. A New Order is emerging!

What was Jonathan's excuse when he bailed from the 2011 debate?

No, I don't think Nigerians can be taken for granted... Nigerians have pretty much made up their minds, that is why despite the politics of calumny and smear campaign of the PDP, the People's General approval rating seems to soar into high heavens... just ask AIT about it.

Come back and let's discuss after you've gotten a credible organiser, just like in 2011...I've not forgotten that your benefactor ran away from that debate.

There is nothing PDP will not do right now to revive the dismal rating of GEJ.

Now I'm convinced the folks in Aso Rock are genuinely scared of defeat.

Shame on PDP for their cheap propaganda.

Disgusting!

I have the least regards for Okonjo Iweala right now, but for a grown man to come out (in 2015) and generalize that women should not occupy positions of leadership is beyond ridiculous.

From Yahoo, to CISCO (high tech), etc. women are leading those organizations to great success. How about Angela Merkel, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, etc who are leading their countries remarkably.

To even use religion to justify his stand makes it even more repulsive. Are all Nigerians guided by that Book? Little wonder, some Nigerians are apprehensive about the Shariarization of the country.

Someone should please give that man a one way ticket to Mars. He doesn't belong here.

I'm still voting GMB, though. My mind has been pretty much made up.
Politics › Re: Amnesty Int.- Nigerian Authorities Were Warned Of Boko Haram Attacks On Baga by Bevista:
tbaba1234:
Nigeria: Nigerian authorities were warned of Boko Haram attacks on Baga and Monguno

The Baga and Maiduguri attacks demonstrates how the conflict has dramatically escalated in the last 12 months. Amnesty International’s research indicates that in 2014 at least 4,000 civilians were killed by Boko Haram and the actual number is likely to be higher.
Now let's debate the numbers. I'm expecting someone to come out and say it's not 4,000 but 300.

This is already bad enough. Add to it that we've lost some part of our Nigerian territory to some halfwits.

Shameless government.
Politics › Re: Amnesty Int.- Nigerian Authorities Were Warned Of Boko Haram Attacks On Baga by Bevista:
Let them come and discredit this as international propaganda.

Yet when it suits them (like the Transparency International report, they are quick to tell us how international agencies are recognizing them.

Great writeup.

I completely agree with you about the feasibility of the proposed APC welfare programs. I personally do not think it is economically realistic.

I also agree about the irresponsible way PDP (through FFK) responded to such an intelligent expose.

For having the decency to articulate a proper response, I go with APC.

Grabbing the IP, then the MAC Address would be too resource intensive , everytime some comes you need to check the IP and the MAC address and do really want to do that for a brief project - I do python , so we always thinking of the easiest way to do something with less time wastage. They could have simply drop cookies or use OpenID , facebook, twitter e.t.c and let someone else do the heavy lifting. And, at the same time adding some credibility to the polls.
Great! But my point is that there is an absolutely easy way of solving that problem. Which makes me doubt the excuse they are putting forward.
Politics › Re: AIT Releases Proof Showing Its Poll Was Manipulated (Picture) by Bevista:
Shame on AIT!

My elementary Database knowledge tells me that they could have simply prevented that with a line of code.

Simply create a table in ur database that stores the IP (or Mac address of the device) of every incidence of vote. Then before anybody votes, you collect the IP or Mac address and check in the table to see if it is already there. if it's not there, then you allow the person to vote, else if it's there you deny the person further voting and simply display the results.

This is so elementary that I doubt if this is the real reason.

Apparently, the real reason is that they and their sponsors must have been very embarrassed with the kind of feedback they were getting from the opinion poll (in spite of a paid one hour documentary just the previous day to castigate the person of #GMB), so they had to figure out a way to save face.

I dare them to correct it and bring it back and we will still embarrass them again.
