Fit2Rule: The only reason we keep learning and unlearning this sh *t called English language is because we are yet to really be independent. If English is so universal, why can't be brits and Americans choose and use one between bonnet /hood, khaki /shorts, etc? Time to accept and use our own Nigerian English. waka = walk chao/chop/wak = eat crash = sleep maga = crazy comot = leave fashi = ignore wetin = what flex = enjoy shayo = drink
Add yours if you love naija lingo Edakun, the word 'Crash' is not 'Nigerian English' or vernacular, it's an actual English word that means 'to sleep in a convenient place'. e se gan. OK. bye. |

Pls I'm asking for the sake of the next application. Can someone with a BSc in Geography apply for the Nigerian Navy DSSC under Hydrography? The qualifications I saw were;
"7. HYDROGRAPHY: Applicants must possess a BSc or HND in the following fields. 1. Cartography. 2. Surveying/Geoinfomatics. 3. Geophysics. 4. Physical Oceanography."
I have a BSc in Geography, do I fit in?
Please I need clarifications |

alexialin: An uncle of mine who was a chronic bachelor and refused to marry cos like he claims he was yet to find the bone of his bones. He dated babes but none fits his criteria so he said. Everyone got tired waiting for him to marry. Until one day, he came home with a lady, he was so excited and eager to Introduce his lady to everyone as the woman he has been searching for all these years. He told her to make herself at home while he went inside and called everyone to come and see his bride. Everyone was like what happened to uncle today. Lo and behold they all walked quickly to the parlour, and looked on with shock and disbelief! He was smiling and beaming, mum, dad, everyone this is the woman I want to marry.
Guess what they saw? a slim albino lady with freckles and half past 4 eyes, who smiled nervously back at them. He quickly sat at her side and he said dad we need to go meet her parents for introduction and all. She's a school teacher and I love her so much. His dad sighed, cleared his throat and said my son lemme see u outside.
They went outside and what we heard was arguments, then he rushed inside and said look this is whom I will. Marry. I dont care what u all say. I love this woman for Christ sakes, and no one will stop me Orelse we will handle the marriage preparations ourselves. His mother was crying they've bewitched her son o
My mum said her brother, my uncle eventually married his albino wife
So definitely there is a woman for every man.
Albinos in the house, u all are wonderfully created. Let no one tell u otherwise.
Peace! hnmmm.... hnmmm.... hnmmm.... This is super story... a life of strife and sorrow oooo.... this is super stoooooory. |

mmsen: It's all well an good celebrating people with pieces of paper but do any of these people actively improve their environment or are they fighting for the same meagre banking and public sector jobs? When you bring forth your own children, tell them if they make first class you'll tear their certificate. In other words, convince them to make 3rd class or pass (if there'll still be a pass degree for your child). Fücking mediocre! |

Statsocial: Wow 9,000 students This may just be the reason why UNN isn't making headway with Times Higher Education ranking. By the time those ones divide lecturer available by students it would be so terrible and every opportunity to enter the ranking would have been lost. They may need to shed some of those student population through admissions like University Of Ibadan if they intend to make headway. Do you know the meaning of "affiliation"? Yes, some institutions are actually affiliated to UNN (Yabatech, Alvan Ikoku College of Education etc), hence the number. Stop wailing, we know anything from the south east bites you. And not all are first degree, some are diplomas as well. Now take several seats. |
