More info is on the way.

I met the cat in NY, NY about a month ago; he's very cool, a good listener and seems to be very focused.

Trust me, expect nothing but the best.

I will post more info. soon
Politics › Re: The Aviation Minister should Resign by BigB11(m): 11:12pm On Nov 02, 2006
Femi Fani-Kayode is a very intelligent young man and he will give us nothing but the best. The cat knows what's up. Worry not, folk; he will perform.

ODEKU: what's your problem? Are upset because OBJ did not select the inspector general of police?

You need to calm down and understand that this position is a serious one and it's not for sale.
Politics › Re: Aviation Minister Replaced Finally- Femi Fani-kayode Replaces Aborishade by BigB11(m): 10:56pm On Nov 02, 2006
I'm very happy with this move. I fully support OBJ's admin decision for the first time.
Infact the candidate selected, Femi Fani-Kayode happens to be one of my boys. I think he's the right fit for the position and expect nothing, but excellent performance from him.

The decision to replaced the aviation minister is a fantastic message to the rest of the ministers, if you can not do your job by closely monitoring the day to day activities, we will find someone else who is competent enough to replace you. Enough is enough, minister position is not a position of a king, the position is replaceable at any time.

I'm sick and tired of these big wig incompetent folks who see or think their position is an honorary position; a position that is not legally enforceable. It is time to send messages to the rest. This is a serious matter; Nigerian federal government top positions are not pepper soup. We are not going to tolerate stupidity and incompetency at any level anymore.

These leaders are not dedicated or committed to their positions at all; and I think it is time to make them understand that their positions are not only for them to sit their fat behind in their living room, calculating how much money is available for them to steal.

If we see failure, we must make changes. This is how it is all over the world.
Please, stop crying and allow the minister to sit down somewhere. He had he's chance, but he did not perform.

Bravo to you, OBJ

It is absolutely clear that you guys do not know anything about investor or investing in another country.

You continue to compare Nigeria to Mexico or England. Wake up people, whether you like it or not, investors monitor all these unwanted situations and they take United States comment very serious.

It is currently being speculated that the crash incident is a result of corruption and uncivilization.

As an investor, will you be willing to get yourself involved with this kind of society? Capital NO

Uncivilized society represents, instability, ignorance, violent, lawlessness, insecurity etc.

Stop comparing apple to mango; wake up and face the fact, we need to get our sht together. Period

It's time for new beginning.

We continue to beat around the bush, we all know the answer or solution to our problems. Some of us are too weak or not strong enough to make the truth known; but deep down inside everyone of us, we all know the only entity to bring us back to where we want to be.

Look out folks, the campaign is about to kick off. The answer is on the way. Very soon Nigeria will be back on top and jubilation will erupt all over the country.

Unabbreviated classy leadership style is on the way, folks.

May God bless Nigeria

Do you know anything about investors?

Do you know what investors look for before implementing an engagement?

Trust me, when ever US is sending out this kind of messages, it is always a bad news. We need to get our sht together immediately by developing a stronger back bone.

US bans nationals from Nigerian airlines
Wednesday, November 1, 2006

America has banned its officials and nationals from flying on most Nigerian airlines following the latest crash of an ADC aircraft in Abuja.

State Department officials said the administration is "merely being cautious in the face of the frequent crashes in Nigeria".

The European Union countries are also reacting to the crash warning their nationals to be "very careful about air travels in Nigeria".

A statement advised EU nationals to restrict their air travel to airlines with proven safety records. The reaction from Washington comes as American investigators arrive in Abuja for a full investigation into the ADC’s Boeing 737 plane crash.

The eight man team, sources said, will examine the black box of the aircraft which claimed at least 96 lives including the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Maccido, with officials of the Nigerian Accident, Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIPB). Director of the agency Angus Ozoka, was handed the black box by the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Sunday Ehindero in Abuja. He said the foreign investigators will be led by U.S. accredited representative, Mr. Dennis Jones. He said Jones and his team will start preliminary investigation before sending the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) also known as black box and Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) to the National Transportation Safety Board in Washington DC in the U. S.

ODEKU: Wake up

What ever the story may be, I still think it's a dent on our credibility and eventually this action will discourage investors from all over the world from investing in Nigeria. Nigeria will be labelled as a dead end or a forlorn country.

I mean, we don't expect American Airline to start transporting folks from Abuja to Sokoto etc. Just because our government is incompetent to do any thing correctly.

And keep in mind that this is Nigeria (the giant of Africa) we are talking about, not Congo. We need to get our sht together and stop pointing finger.

FYI: it is being speculated all over the world that the crash incident is a result of corrupt land and uncivilization.

It is time for new beginning.

ODEKU: Believe me, you should be very glad that we've interacted and I promise you, I wouldn't miss a thing by you not responding to my comments any more. Trust me, it is a good thing.

Who killed Bola Ige, Who killed Funso Williams, Who killed Danatio and so onhuh??

It seems to me that the Inspector General position is another inutile position.

I mean, what have you done for Nigeria lately? Really!

Let's probe ODEKU's father, may be he knows something.

ODEKU is your father clean or he's just another show me your patikulas folk?
Politics › Re: Odeku, Please Stop Attacking IBB's Presidential Ambition by BigB11(m): 11:07pm On Oct 30, 2006
The last time I checked, this topic is about you and your long lost father that BUSHFELLOW just recovered or found for you.

Since you crave to go there so bad, why can we go ahead and compare the different between Military personnel and low life malodorous shameless police officer personnel.

Do you know the different? any idea?

Remember that Nigerian police officers are the most corrupt group in the face of the earth. They will even dance for you for only 500 naira. I've seen them in action, the entire group (senior or junior) doesn't represent anything pleasant.
You need to chill out and go sit somewhere because there is absolutely nothing special in you or your unclaimed family.

You truly need to leave the slave farm (Chicago) and return back home, come and see the light.
The yearly/ annual salary of inspector general will be released soon.

You're not making any sense as usual.

I repeat, let's refocus on our mission "moving Nigeria forward"

"oga, where is your patikulass is your back ground"

ODEKU, believe me you need to slow down.

I will advise you to really chill out. I don't want to go there and please for the respect for your folks, don't make me.

Mr Sunday Ehindero is a fine police man.

Let's skip this topic and continue with our mission " moving Nigeria forward"

You need to learn from the old school. Never, never identify yourself; let them identify you. You are now paying for being ignorant and loud.

I truly didn't know that "oga, where is your patikulass is your back ground"

Now everything is starting to make sense. I see why you're so loud and sometimes make comment without a use of common sense.

Well, my man, it is what it is. Be proud, stay focused and stand tall. it's not a big deal.

FYI: I'm currently working on getting some inside information regarding the monthly and annual salary of the inspector general.

Since ODEKU has rejected any affiliation with this individual, this process will be done openly without any disrespect to anybody.
Politics › Re: Odeku, Please Stop Attacking IBB's Presidential Ambition by BigB11(m): 8:12am On Oct 30, 2006
No disrespect.

I met the man before, infact I believe twice.

He's a fine police.

But my man, ODEKU, you need to slow down.

Believe me, you need to slow down.

Bad news, but is it accurate?

Many names are missing. If you are going to point finger, then point all out.

If this information is accurate, then it shows that the problem is not IBB, the problem is Nigeria/ Nigerians in general.

I remember when folks used to preach that "we need educated new generation to move Nigeria forward". It is now clear that this is not the solution; infact, we are now starting to realize that the new generation politicians are worst and ready to take corruption and ineffectiveness to a whole different level.
I think the problem is much larger than IBB, the problem has a-lot to do with our culture and many people refuse to accept this fact, but it is a solid fact that needs attention.

IBB on the other hand doesn't need or has no reason to steal from Nigeria. In fact, he will accept to pay up to $10,000000 for every single month he rules Nigeria for the next 4 years. This is how bad he wants to correct things and reform Nigeria back to the Giant of Africa.

I truly feel that these other clowns will take us for another long ride. They do not have the experience, they do not have the charisma, they do not have the respect, they do not have the skill, they do not have the fortitude; in short, they do not have what it takes.
For now, I can not see any other candidate that can move Nigeria forward effectively and efficiently better than IBB.
May be next month I will discover one, but for now I can only see incompetency.

And before you guys start crying, keep in mind that this is not fact, it's only a comment on how I see things or see Nigeria as a country moving forward.

I believe Shagari's son was also among the passengers.

May their souls rest in peace.

I will deal with Nigerian Aviation Dept and current administration later; for now let's pray for the families these folks left behind.

It is sad, a shame and a big sign of failure.

I'm still eager to know why some appealing topics posted on this forum are deleted after only being posted for few minutes or couple of hours and others are left posted for many many days.

Is this site (Nairaland) a snare?

Are we being used?

Are we being watched?

Is this site (Nairaland) truly represent freedom of speech or is just a joke?

It is fair and we deserve to know.

Politics › Re: State Of Emergency In Ekiti? by BigB11(m): 3:41am On Oct 23, 2006
No, this administration is giving Military regime solid premise to return back to power.

Look, it's simple:

This administration, both number one man and number two man have identified each other to be corrupt and incompetent leaders with no question. They've also shown us over and over that law means nothing and democracy is a joke.

Presidential election is few months away and no candidate has been approved as yet, this does not look good at-all.

Look out people.

It so sad to see how low you comport yourself, ODEKU.

The type of word you use shows a-lot in terms of your background, up bringing and standard.

For real, you need to chill and stop acting like a low life.
