ODEKU: It is sad.
You missed all the important points as usual.

And please stop labelling me with all these unwarranted identities.

I give you 10 to 15 years more, you will find out my true identity, just remember that name BIG B1

May God bless Nigeria

JAYBABA: Don't be a loser, think systematically.

IBB might be the answer to all our problems.

IBB has a-lot to lose this time around. He's under microscope and he can not afford to mess up. He will utilize all his resources and skill to make things right this time.

The system is corrupt, the culture is corrupt; any other leader apart from IBB (new generation leader or old school) will steal, period.

Think deeply about it.

May God bless Nigeria

JAYBABA: I understand your frustration and hatred. Believe it or not, we all feel the same. But at the same time we all need to sit down and think deeply about things.

Me personally, at this point I do not see any promising presidential candidate available to us. It is sad, but it is the fact.

The folks are all politician, our system is corrupt and our culture is also corrupt. The candidates are playing the same music, and at the end of the day they've done nothing for us, but accomplished wealth for selves, their friends and their families.
Please be smart and don't be brainwashed; everyone of them is corrupt. It doesn't matter if their states are clean as Paris, they are all corrupt.

Futhermore it doesn't matter, old school or new generation, the fact remains the same. The are all filthy with scatological intention.

IBB on the other hand knows that the world is watching, he understands that there is absolutely zero tolerance for failure this time around.
I can assure you that he will not steal, I can assure you that he will use all his resources and skill to reform this country back to Giant of African. IBB can not afford to mess up this time, trust me.
He is extremely desperate for success this time around.
Believe it or not, he is most well respected individual in Nigeria by majority, this also gives me an assurance that governors and other high government officials under his regime will think twice before stealing.

Folks, think systematically, this is a great opportunity to change things around for ever in Nigeria. Let us take advantage of it. Stop rehashing, forget the past and let's move forward.

Even GOD, the greatest forgives and gives second chance.

Just Remember this slogan
IBB has a-lot to lose this time around. He's under microscope and he can not afford to mess up. He will utilize all his resources and skill to make things right this time.
The system is corrupt, the culture is corrupt; any other leader apart from IBB (new generation leader or old school) will steal, period.

May God bless Nigeria

REVOLUTION: I've been reading about your man, DUKE for the past 2 days. Yes, he seems to be cool and full of energy, but I'm not sure if he's ready for this major task.

No disrespect, when I look at him and read all his man made accomplishment/ vision's stories, I see a dedicated boy scout, who will be effective for the first 5 months, but after that I see a big down fall.

I'm sorry, Mr DUKE needs more time to develop. Don't get it twisted, he has the potential, but not for 2007. May be 2011.

May God bless Nigeria.

Friends and family, this is the rest of the letter:

[b]As the race to the 2007 presidential elections hots up, former military president and an aspirant on the platform of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has formally written to principal officers of the Senate, as well as senators, intimating them of his intention to succeed President Olusegun Obasanjo, even as he declared that relevant experience and tested patriotic commitment to the cause of Nigeria are his credentials.

In the letter dated October 31, 2006, and personally signed by Babangida himself, he poured encomiums on the senators for fighting doggedly for the sustenance of the country’s democracy by protecting the spirit of the constitution and the corporate existence of Nigeria.

He further stated that he was making himself available for the country’s topmost job because of his conviction that there was a genuine need to strengthen and where necessary institutionalize what he referred to as the “worthy achievements” of the last seven and a half years, adding that if elected as President, he would be in a position to place at the country’s disposal his wealth of relevant experience and knowledge of the intricacies and complexities of Nigeria, with a view to reinforcing the pillars of the country’s federalism.

The letter reads in part: “The countdown to 2007 general elections has started and we are again at yet another crucial point in the task of ensuring an enduring democracy and Nigerians are unsure whether our country can pass through this very complicated phase wholly and unified with common purpose. All well-meaning Nigerians are once more looking up to you and your colleagues in the Senate and the House of Representatives as the last vestiges of hope of the sustenance of our democracy.

“The outcome of how well the Senate is steered during the end of term of the present administration will determine how well Nigerians will face the challenges of electing their next leaders. The hope of a majority of our people is to see how with the sustenance of democracy they could truly reap the benefits and enjoy the much-awaited dividends of democratization. Their hope is that a new leadership will advance the cause of democracy and extend the benefits to guarantee better life and prosperity for the greatest majority of Nigerians.

“As the search for a new leadership begins, I am aware that well-meaning and qualified Nigerians have indicated interest in joining the race for elective public office at various levels in the exercise of their rights as guaranteed by the constitution of the country. Taking into consideration the enormity of the challenges of development that confront us, we are again at the crossroads in the political history of our country when the benefit of relevant experience and tested patriotic commitment of the nation are desirable. This is more in order to sustain and advance the vision of a united stable and prosperous Nigeria .

“Therefore I have decided to exercise the democratic right that our constitution guarantees to all eligible Nigerians namely the freedom to vie for elective offices. In this regard, I am pleased to inform you formally of my intention to seek the ticket of my party to contest the 2007 election to the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“I have reached this decision after exhaustive consultations with my family, friends, associates, supporters and several well-meaning compatriots across the length and breadth of our great nation. It is my hope that as a democratically elected President, I will be in a position to place at the disposal of my country the wealth of my relevant experience and knowledge of the intricacies and complexities of our nation. I will commit myself to consolidating the recent gains and explore new frontiers in the quest for prosperity, orderly and evenly spread development initiatives for a sustainable and enduring happiness for the great people of our country.”

I'm not listening to all these clowns (presidential candidates). My mind is set, IBB is my man.

He has enough. He has no reason to steal or to fail, while the rest have thousands of reasons.

They are politicians, they all sing thesame song. Don't be a fool; if IBB is not elected, the next elected president will steal; it's inevitable, no doubt about it.

FACT:IBB has a-lot to lose this time around. He's under microscope and he can not afford to mess up. He will utilize all his resources and skill to make things right this time.

ODEKU: do you want to know the truth?

The truth is simple.

They are not pointing finger or speaking out because it is extremely difficult be dirty and at the same time to call your next door neighbor smelly.

The system is corrupt and the culture is corrupt as well.

Our corruption issue is bigger than IBB.

FYI: out of all the presidential candidates, IBB is the only one that will not steal as the next president.

Stay cool, my friends. I've said it before and I will say it again; there is no clean governor in Nigeria. They are all (including Mr Duke) corrupt; only the dull and the dead heads feel otherwise.
Just chill for now, the message will come out at the right time.

Regarding ODEKU's IBB crusade project:
Mr ODEKU Mr ODEKU Mr ODEKU; I've called you 3 times. Do you care at all about your parents and your young son?

If you truly do, then stay your black behind in ChiTown and don't waste your time.
Believe me, at the right time (soon) all your followers will be branching out one by one to join IBB camp.

Trust me, it is written down.
IBB is unstopable, no disrespect.
Politics › Re: 2007: Okotie Tops Popularity Poll by BigB11(m): 6:07pm On Nov 16, 2006
Yes, Mr Okotie is a legitimate presidential candidate just like the rest. He's very popular and has many supporters. But we need to pay attention to the fact that Nigeria is a country that is divided into two major parts. One part comprises of the Muslims while the other comprises the Xtians.

If a Xtian preacher becomes the president of Nigeria there might be many deadly set backs in-term of conflict of interest. There is no way a Xtian preacher would be able to relate purely to Muslim folks mentality and belief. We all know that these 2 groups have separate mental acceptance of actuality.

Let's be smart and keep it real, a Xtian preacher (who is a true believer) will struggle to rule Nigeria effectively and efficiently, it is plain and simple.

Please keep in mind that I do not have anything personal against Mr Okotie. My main focus is moving Nigeria forward effectively and competently and I truly believe that with him it's not going to work, period.

May God bless Nigeria.

ODEKU: You got it wrong again. You need to take your time and re-read the article over. There is nothing that signifies Mr. Okosun as IBB supporter.
He's telling the truth, educating dead heads and addressing a corrupt culture.

The article touched many points, but you've got to be bright to truly understand where Mr Okosun is coming from.

Please folks, do not let us diverge the objective of this article to a wrong path.

I do not want to go into MKO's family issues, but the article says enough; it is what it is, folks.

Wow I've got to read it again.

I've said it before and I will say it again.

This issue, Folks against IBB reminds me of black men crying or blaming white men for their cascading failure in America.

Folks need to analyze selves and clean your back yard before pointing finger.

Bravo Mr. Okosun. I hope this arouses people up from their protracted dream.

I totally agree.

The only way most of our problems could be solved is by keeping it real. Let's face the fact and stop deceiving ourselves.

The nation is corrupt, the system is corrupt and the culture embraces corruption.

Think about it.

This is another dirty Nigerian mentality.

I could you degrade me that low? Where is this rubbish coming from? I have never worked in my life!

That is sad and uncivilized how folks are so quick to judge.

Any way, the truth is hard to swallow.

Marwa is a better candidate.

I see the the Gold going to IBB and the silver going to Marwa.

We shall see.
Politics › Re: How Come Noone Is Talking About Brigadier-general Buba Marwa by BigB11(op): 8:03pm On Nov 15, 2006
LEWA: Amusing.
Reading your comment, one would think I've stolen your girl friend.
It is all written all over your face; the intention of Mr DUKE's noise makers are personal.

The truth is every single candidate should be considered equally. It is just ridiculous how COUPLE of folks are running around with the assumption that Mr. Duke already got this position in his pocket. I totally disagree.

Mr Duke is a fine man, but let's shine some light on other competent experienced candidates as well.

Many People are making noise and supporting DUKE for only 3 reasons.

1. He's from South
2. He's a civilian
3. He's young and educated.

If these are the points to qualify a presidential candidate, 85% of the population should join the race, period.

Marwa is young, educated, experienced and represents a true leader.

In my country, majority carries the vote not the minority, hence we shall see.
Politics › Re: Just In Case Ibb Wins by BigB11(m): 5:22pm On Nov 15, 2006
The issue between folks and IBB reminds of a black man in America blaming white men for everything.
Politics › Re: How Come Noone Is Talking About Brigadier-general Buba Marwa by BigB11(op): 4:43pm On Nov 15, 2006
Negative and totally rubbish.

Even the incredible EFCC probed this guy for several days and they failed. This is ridiculous and unfair. Only in Nigeria that innocent decent people could be labelled as criminals without proven guilty of anything. This is a true sign of uncivilization; where is the democracy?

The main problem here is the fact that folks prefer the next president to be from the South or South South. They are determined to find anything and everything to disqualify anyone else.
This is a retarded way of thinking, we can never never move our lovely country forward with this kind of mentality.

It is clear and incontestable that the Mr Marwa is more qualified in term of leading the nation effectively and competently than any other listed candidates on this site or anywhere else (of course, excluding IBB).

Well, we shall see because time will tell.
In my country, majority carries the vote not the minority.

May God bless Nigeria.

Not to take anything away from Mr. DUKE, but this is politics at it's best. They all say sensible things just like this one; infact 90% of the time the statement is written for them by other people.

Hence please calm down and don't fall into another politician snare.

Politics › Re: Obasanjo , ANDY UBA AND THE EFCC WHAT NEXT by BigB11(m): 3:25am On Nov 15, 2006
I've stopped giving credit to incredible EFCC ever since they got involved in politics. EFCC is nothing, but a vindictive tool, which is being used by OBJ to victimize all his political enemies (3rd term non-supporters).

I refuse to change my views regarding EFCC operations till they make changes.

The money laundering run away presidential jet is the biggest blow to our credibility so far. I mean, how low could we go?

A responsible leader would have come out immediately to clear things up, but shamless Mr president sat on it and expected Nigerians to stay quiet and forget things.

And folks FYI, just because Mr UBA quit doesn't mean anything, but makes the allegation more suspicious.

Very very careless administration.

There is absolutely no reason to feel this way. You can never be too emotional when it comes to politics.
Save your energy and hope for the best.
