By the way, I will be posting IBB pic when he was in his 40s. Futhermore he doesn't look bad for a 65 years old man. OBJ on the other hand sometimes scares me, I must admit. But I will never degrade or discriminate him because of his highest rank of ugliness. It's time to move Nigeria forward, let us be smart and make smart decision when we elect the next president. Pay attention to their leadership skill, experience, stamina and qualifications; not what they look like or wear. May God bless Nigeria. |
Revolution: Very impressive reply. But I still disagree with some of your points. Communication is the key, we all agree with that; what I do not agree with is cultural dressing and big belly leaders not being effective. This is totally wrong. First, let clear the floor, my name is big B1, not because of physical size, but the size of things I select to do. Hence my fight for degrading big belly folks is not personal, but another unique quality I've possessed. I will fight to the end for the under dogs. Back to the topic: The Saudi Arabian leaders, Afghanistan leaders and so on will never compromise their unique cultural attire for anything and yet they are very successful. Why should we compromise? It's our culture, if leaders select to embrace the cultural attire, let it be. It is extremely inappropriate to degrade them for doing so. Big Belly on the other hand is not by choice. Sometimes it is a genetic factor or serious health problem. Hence you have to be very careful touching this issue. It is delicate and sensitive. FYI: Majority of these big belly folks spend a very decent time at the gym. Trust me, if they have their way, they will definitely change things for better. It doesn't matter what you look like or what you wear, if you have what it takes, you're my man. May God bless Nigeria |
You are missing the point. But let's refocus our attention to the topic before you shoot yourself in the foot. FYI: you're insulting Nigerian culture, your are also insulting folks with weight issues. Get your points together. What you wear or the size of your belly doesn't make you a bad leader or determines your effectiveness as a politician. Be careful, my friend, you're drafting toward a wrong path. |
OK, let's say IBB is banned from contesting for the presidential election, what is next? You guys continue to miss my point, Chasing and exposing IBB alone will not solve our problem, Nigeria will never never move forward by just prohibiting IBB's ambition. All these folks have to be exposed and banned all together. Create a new state, new politicians with fresh new rules and strategy. Imaging, 99% of current governors are corrupt and more than 40% of the same group are contesting to be our next president, And all we are focusing on is IBB, what you guys are missing is the fact that new developed invisible IBB is out there and there is possibility that this invisible guy will be elected and the history will be repeated. Instead of chasing IBB around like the only hooker in town, we need to generalize our knowledge and ideas to get rid of all these old fetid for ever. Nigerians love quick fix, short cut and figureheading, I refuse to be part of this group, If you want to repair a problem let's get it done effectively, Don't allow this current administration to paint one fruit as being bad and paint the other as perfect. All these folks are bad or dirty or what ever you wish to call it, let's kill the whole problem not just part of it. Think of this corruption issue as being a cancer and Nigeria as a country is the entity. This is the reason why I refuse to participate in bashing IBB, You only think IBB is the worst beast out there because he's the only one being exposed vigorously. Just like the old folks say " you don't miss what you don't know" And in regard to privileges of the president's kids, I rather don't touch that, it is reality and it will be forever. Let develop new rules and regulation for the next administration or big wig government officials: 1. All the kids of all government officials should attend public Nigerian schools, You guys will see how quick the Nigerian public schools will be reformed. 2. All government officials and their families must not be flown to abroad for medical reasons, they must utilize Nigerian medical system at all time, You guys will see how quick the Nigerian medical system improves. 3. No foreign bank account for all officials, You guys will see how quick the numbers of political candidates will start to drop. 4. Any guilty corrupt officials will be executed in his or her home town, You guys will see how things will change for ever. 5. And so on I admire long term resolution not just short term, this is why I will continue to reject IBB bashing till every corrupt officials including OBJ are probed and exposed, And new rules and regulations are implemented |
Revolution, do you have any problem with Bariggah? Because what you wear doesn't determine your future or fate. It's all in your mind, it's either you have it or you don't. I can careless what you wear or what you look like, you can even show up with your underwear as long as you have what it takes, you're my man. Please do not let us mix materialism with politics. Thanks. May God bless Nigeria. |
Revolution: Excellent reply Thanks for the sincere comment, I truly respect it. I'm for positive advancement and I'm willing to join anyone that is capable of accomplishing this goal effectively and efficiently. Even though my man for now is IBB; with him I see a better Nigeria and I truly feel that he has no reason to fail while others have thousands of reasons to fail. I'm open and will no hesitate to change my mind if I discover a stronger candidate. May God bless Nigeria. |
We definitely have a problem here, because people have stopped thinking and started to draft toward the wrong direction; you need to pull all my post and you will quickly realize that I'm not opposing Mr Duke, infact he has my full support, but I need to see that fire in his face. I mean, who wants a president that will be pushed around? I need to see that he can withstand the pressure when the heavy rain starts pouring. I'm just not going to join the dead heads just because Cross Rivers happens to be a clean state; I need more than a clean southern state to make my election decision, period. You guys just refuse to see the light, it is deadly when thousands of people sleep and face the same direction. I refuse to be part of this group. You have to deeply think to truly see where I'm coming from. Mr Duke is a fine docile man, a great future for Nigeria. But at the moment, he will not be successful as the Nigerian next president; he needs time to develop. Most people in here are too blind to see the light, even though the light is shinning directly into their eyes, but they still can not see. I also think that the big problem here is encircled with the fact that most people do not care about Nigeria, they only care about the delinquent and neglectful goal of their tribe. And Nigeria will never never move forward with this type of mentality. It's not about igbo, yoruba or HAUSA. It's about moving Nigeria forward efectively and competently; we are not ready to be led by a boy scout. We need an experienced strong leader who is highly respected by majority. There is no way anyone without a solid experience will survive as the next Nigeria president. It will take at least 6 years for Duke to truly understand what he's up against as the president. It is not fair to him, if you truly admire this individual, then you will advise him to return in 2011; 2007 is no longer vacant. 1. FYI: Not to take anything away from Mr Duke, but If you're smart and on top of your game, it doesn't take that much to become a great governor or clean up a state. 2. FYI: There is no clean governor in Nigeria, trust me. Just wait and see, more info will come out when the time is right, the same way the Money laundering presidential jet came out. Be patient and you will be able to truly select among the good, the bad and the ugly. 3. FYI: Mr. Duke is a very smart man, he doesn't want to be the next Nigerian president. He's only doing this to prepare himself for the 2011 presidential election; but folks are too dull to realize it. And finally, remember that majority carries the vote in my country, hence I'm not dismayed by couple of voices in side nairaland mansion. I believe time will tell soon. May God bless Nigeria |
nice pic. |
Wiseguy: you're another great example of why we can not move forward, you need to wise up your behind. There is absolutely no reason for you to call me a lunatic just because I refuse to follow the Igbo people's crusade. It is my prerogative if I select IBB as my choice. You need to slow down and find someone else to pick on. Believe me, you need to slow down; I'm not the right one for you. Back to the topic: We definitely have a problem here, because people have stopped thinking and started to draft toward the wrong direction; you need to pull all my post and you will quickly realize that I'm not opposing Mr Duke, infact he has my full support, but I need to see that fire in his face. Dude, stop pushing the impossible. IBB is returning to make things right, to correct things and to reform Nigeria as quickly as possible. Do you even understand Nigerian politics? Instead of wasting your time, take a time out and understand the concept of politics in general. Even OBJ is already indirectly starting to dance to the muzik and everyone will follow soon. It is inevitable, our next president will be IBB. Believe me, he will never fail this time around. He understands what we need and he has what it takes. May God bless Nigeria. |
Cool down guys. This a discussion, a discussion between brothers and sisters. There is no need to take this to the next level. Mr Duke knows it and we all know it too. The position is too heavy for this cat. why do you guys refuse to see the light? If you truly admire Mr Duke, you would advise him to chill out for now. He's a fine man, no doubt about it, but he needs more time to develop. There is a big different between governing cross river and ruling Nigeria. This cat will not last 6 months in Aso rock before he goes crazy. The other day, he couldn't even introduce his agenda and strategy effectively on the national TV; and the campaign hasn't started yet. I know the truth is very painful, but take it as it is, Mr Duke will be back in 2011. For now, give the spade to who the spade belongs to, IBB is a better fit! He has no reason to fail. The second time will be much better, mark it down, my friends. May God bless Nigeria. |
OBONG: Indirectly, I meant Cross River sounds like a big state, but it's really not that big, my friend. There is no way I'm going to make my election decision over Cross River being a clean state. How cares? Just because you can ride a bicycle very well does not mean you can drive an 18 wheeler (a very big truck). And there is nobody And no one is saying Duke is not a fine man, but he's not ready for this major task; believe me, he knows it too. His recent action is only to put his name out there for the future purpose. He really doesn't want to be the next Nigerian president. You guys need to cool down and be sensible. Nigeria is currently crumbling and a strong experienced leader is needed. It will take up to 6 years for Mr. Duke to truly understand what is really going on in Nigeria, and that is a fact. We have Sharia group in north, we have Adedibu and the thugs in Ibadan, we also have OBJ's goons walking around and so on. These groups will smoke Mr Duke in a minute; Believe me. Being a governor in cross river is just like operating a family business in you home town. 99% of the time business like this will be successful. Ruling Nigeria on the other hand is just like operating an international business. You have to deal with different culture, different rules, different people, different mentality, different background, ugly people, nice people, bad people, etc. Trust me, it takes more than looking good or looking handsome to deal with this kind of task. You need experience and mental strength to survive. No disrespect, Mr. Duke will not survive more than 6 months. Ruling Nigeria is not an easy job, it's an heavy duty IBB is the man. Think about it. May God bless Nigeria. |
ODEKU: come on over with your people. I give you only 3 days to realize the energy and you will quickly return back to your slave yard (Chicago). It is inevitable, IBB is our next president. You need to start communicating with your papa, he knows what up; infact he's already starting to dance for IBB and comes 2007, he will dance some more (if you know what I mean, my friend.) |
Ajolayo: May Allah bless you. I've tried everything to send this message and these folks seem not to be getting it. Trust me, it will take Mr. Duke at least 6 years to truly understand what he's up against as the next president of Nigeria. He's a fine man, but he also needs some time to develop. If we want improvement right away, IBB is the answer. He's strong, ready and very focused. He has what it takes. Even OBJ is not even close, IBB is a true leader and the only candidate to reform Nigeria effectively and faster. I promise you, we are all going to jubilate, he's going to be the next president. And Nigeria will be back as the Giant of Africa; this time, for ever. May God bless Nigeria. |
I call these folks "The Nigerian black necks" They do not like things when everything is going on smoothly. They are low lives and obstacles to positive progress in Nigeria. Adedibu and his thugs must be disabled immediately. |
As you guys know, I'm a very open minded individual who loves to view things from a different angle. Duke as a presidential candidate happens to be a nice fit and I continue to learn more and more about this guy every day. So far so good, I must admit. But my concerns are: Experience and Stamina. Yes, he has done a great job for his state (which is also a size of an air plane), but is he capable of handling things effectively and efficiently as the next Nigerian president; especially at this tedious and sensitive period in Nigeria? Does he have the stamina to deal with the political goons OBJ will be leaving behind? Does he have any undiscovered bones in his closet? (because I heard some interesting things about him, but not confirmed as yet, hence I will leave it for another topic). Hey guys, this is not about yoruba, igbo or HAUSA, it's about moving Nigeria forward. Enough is enough, it is time to restore the country back to the Giant of Africa, and I'm ready and willing to join who ever has the juice and strength to accomplish this goal. FYI: Some governors are affective and magnificent at their positions just because there is no enough fund available for them to steal or they just don't have access to fund or all eyes are on them. Old folks say " there is no thief if there is nothing to steal". In other word, it is extremely difficult to steal in some states while it's very easy in others. Be smart and think about it. May God Bless Nigeria. |
I wouldn't waste my time marking any word, because you do not have one. You and your folks, including the inspector general will jubilate with us in 2007. You mark that one down. It is inevitable. Nigeria is currently crumbling, we need a strong leader who is capable of withstanding the pressure. A leader who has the respect and charisma deal with the black neck vultures. Could you imagine Duke trying to submerge people like Adedibu in Nigeria? They will smoke Duke in a minute. Don't waste your time, Mr Duke is a fine man, but he needs more time to develop. Currently in Nigeria, IBB is the right fit for the position. |
For now, IBB is the only candidate that has no reason to fail. He's begging and craving to return to correct things. For now, he's the only candidate that understands what is going on in Nigeria. He has the skill, experience and respect to reform Nigeria effectively and efficiently. Don't waste your time folks, IBB has what it takes to move Nigeria forward faster. Don't misunderstand me, IBB is not a saint just like the rest, but at this point there is nothing to lose. I will give him a chance to redeem himself. |
Change the topic, my friend. I can assure you 1000000% that IBB will never never kiss any ass. It is just impossible and it will never happen. He's a true leader and will always be. ODEKU: Even the inspector general himself has chapped lips from kissing IBB's ass and very soon the rest of them will be unmasked; this is inevitable. You really need to come back home and spend some time with your Papa, may be you will learn one or two things. And wake up from your impractical dream |
Folks, please be patient. Let's wait and see, time will tell. ODEKU: you need to speak to your Papa, he knows what's up. |
Ridiculous topic. We can solve our own problem. I remember when OBJ brought those European investigators to investigate Funso Williams murder; Could you please tell me the out come of that scenario? Big ZERO We need to start believing in ourselves and draw away from that slavery mentality. The oyinbos have their own problems, let them stay in their countries while we solve our selves over here. We can do it better, trust me. |

This limitation is making some of these governors to look like angels. Think about! |

OBJ is totally responsible. He knew about the illegal impeachment process, infact he was part of it. He was 100% behind the Ibadan goons that carried out the process. Whether you believe it or not, the Oyo state governor impeachment process is another sign of vindictive behavior of Mr. president; when you get a chance to know him, it wouldn't take too long for you to quickly realize that Mr. President doesn't embrace forgiveness at all levels. If you cross him, he will definitely get you back at all cost. (Not Sure), but I think Ladoja's problem started from when he made it clear that he was going to support Atiku for the 2007 presidential campaign. Mr. President didn't approve this move and was determined to teach Ladoja some lessons. The last time I checked, we all have right to select and support any candidate we desire for the presidential election; it is the law and it is democracy; but this rule doesn't exist in Mr. president's book. The only time Mr. president embraces Nigerian law is when he's using it against another party or his enemy. This is democracy, people like Adedibu and co should be disabled from politics, period. These folks will never change their illiterate ways of thinking, they represent black necks to the core. (they call them red necks in America). Futhermore the different between OBJ and Adedibu isn't that much, and that is a big problem. Adedibu uses street thugs to send his uncivilized messages while our incredible president uses EFCC. The police (Nigerian Clowns) on the other hand are straight up useless and dull like the other side of a knife. No doubt about it, they are intellectually weak from the top to the bottom. We need special prayer in Nigeria, because so far it doesn't look good. May God bless Nigeria. |
Who is responsible for this mess? Who is to blame? What could be done to decipher the current barely controlled hostility situation in Ibadan? and What could be done to prevent such crisis from happening again? |
ODEKU: Now I see why you think like a dolt; I was told that your father doesn't know how to restore Ladoja back to his position, as the governor of Oyo State. This is disgusting and unacceptable. I wonder how these incompetent jokers got their positions? |
How do you justify presidential jet being used for money laundering? It is a shame and another big blow on our credibility. I wonder how EFCC will handle this one? Everytime one turns around, people are making noise about IBB left and right. I've said it from day one, corruption issue in Nigeria is much bigger than IBB; and this current administration doesn't have what it takes to fight corruption effectively. They just don't have it, period. When are we (Nigerians) going to wake up? |
It is amusing and sad. "Clean your yansh first before you point out the stinky monkey" How can a stinky dirty blind man show or teach us how to be unsullied? When are we (Nigerians) going to wake up? |
Take your time to read and understand this interesting article. My Fear for Nuhu Ribadu Author: Abdallah Mailafia Shaibu | November 06, 2006 The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu is in the eye of the storm for his dual role in the fight against corruption by the Obasanjo administration. Obasanjo is not believed to be sincere in his war against corruption. This has sometimes put Nuhu Ribadu between the Devil and the Red Sea. State’s institutions are being used to witch-hunt perceived enemies. There are ample of proofs to support this assertion, but this does not come within the ambit of this discussion. Nuhu Ribadu who would not pause at the slightest opportunity to label other people as corrupt, has not been able to see any trace of corruption in President Obasanjo or his close associates. In fact, he defends Obasanjo on allegation of corruption whenever he has the chance to do so. On one occasion that I can not remember vividly, Ribadu stated in very clear terms that President Obasanjo is not corrupt. It is difficult to accept Nuhu’s verdict on Obasanjo since he has not investigated him. Even if he has, the verdict would still be prone to contention because Nuhu and his Commission can not be an impartial umpire. President Obasanjo is bundled with series of corruption charges that he has not reasonably defended. His agent, i.e. Nuhu Ribadu should throw more light on these issues to exonerate Obasanjo. Some of the recurring allegations against Obasanjo are, among others, the following. Who owns Ajaokuta Steel Mills, Jos Steel Rolling Mills, Delta Steel Complex and National Iron Ore Mining Company Itakpe? Who bought out the shares of Akeem Bello-Osagie thereby becoming the largest shareholder in United Bank for Africa? Who was the largest shareholder in Zenith Bank and First Interstate Bank before the merger into Unity Bank? Who is the owner of Obanaja Cement factory? Who owns majority shares in Virgin Nigeria? Why does the airline enjoy special facilities at the international wing of our airports at a pittance? Why does Virgin Nigeria not pay both parking and landing fees and at the same time purchase aviation fuel at a discount? Who are the true owners of Arik Air? Why was the bidding for the assets of the comatose Nigeria Airways not transparent? Who are the true owners of Transcorp? What is President Obasanjo’s level of commitment in the multi-national corporation? Why was NITEL given to Transcorp at the sum of $750 million when Globacom bidded $1.2 billion for the same property? What about Eleme Petrochemicals and Osogbo Machine Tools? What is the source of fund used to rehabilitate Obasanjo’s farm that now rake in N30 million per month when the farm has been lying fallow prior to the 1999 election that brought in Obasanjo as President? What is the source of funds for his farm investments in the six states of the Federation? How did Obasanjo acquire the Beach Land Estate in Lagos? Is it ethical for a sitting President to launch his library pet project cajoling government contractors and government parastatals to donate into the fund? What deal does President Obasanjo have with the owners of Mittal of India that led to the hurried manner in which Oil Block 246 was granted to the Indian conglomerate? Since Nuhu Ribadu has been holding briefs for the President, he can as well provide answers to the afore-mentioned questions to clear his principal’s name from allegations of corruption. According to Nuhu Ribadu, he is not only hated by corrupt Nigerians which his Commission purports to fight but also by his kinsmen. He eluded to this fact in the recent interview he, along with Nasir el-Rufai, granted The Nation newspaper. We all know that there is no hiding place for a golden fish. The minimum expectation is that since Ribadu is hated by everyone even by his own kinsmen, he should find succor in Obasanjo on whose back he rides to unleash terror on innocent citizens. That is the crux of the matter, and it forms the basis of my fear for Nuhu Ribadu. President Obasanjo is well known for his use-and-dump-attitude. He can sacrifice anyone at the slightest chance no matter how valuable that person had been to him. T Y Danjma, Tafa Balogun, Fola Adeola, Otunba Fasawe, Sunday Awoniyi, Solomon Lar, Atiku Abubakar, Ngozi Okonji-Iweala, Marc Wabara, Late Sunday Afolabi etc were all in the good books of Mr. President at one time. If after using Ribadu, Obasanjo drops him as he did to the afore-mentioned, Ribadu should count himself the luckiest person on planet earth. My premonition is that Ribadu, in the course of his duty, might have stumbled on some damaging materials on Baba and in his naivety informs Oga on how best to quash it. If this ever happens, then Ribadu’s matter is closed. He has known too much about a man who is not prepared to trust anyone. He is just living on borrowed time. To compound the whole matter, no one will ever suspect Baba if Ribadu drops dead. The likely suspects will be the 419ners, State Governors and other politicians because of the obstacles he has created for these people. Vice President Atiku may even be a suspect because of the PTDF saga. Let me quickly add here the Atiku Abubakar, Turakin Adamawa, is a true democrat who would not hurt a fly to realize his political ambitions. His antecedents will speak for him. However, Baba is a retired general who has fought wars in many fronts. The life of a useless cop does not mean much to him. His antecedents will buttress this assertion. The late Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bola Ige was murdered in the heat of his misunderstanding with Omisore. Nigerians were made to believe that Omisore was responsible. Chief Funso Williams was assassinated and again we were made to hold politicians responsible. Grapevine has it that as Chairman of NPA, Williams stumbled on some facts which were enough reason to get him eliminated. Also, Chief Ige would have constituted a nuisance in the 2003 presidential election if he were to be alive. The fact of the matter is that Ribadu is trading with professionals who know when to strike so that they won’t be suspects. A word is enough for the wise. Not quite long ago, an alarm was raised that plans are being hatched by Atiku loyalists to eliminate some aides of the President. Ribadu’s name was not on the target list. Something keeps on telling me that the ground is being prepared to actualize a heinous act by the same group raising the alarm. As the saying goes, ‘he who rides on the back of a tiger eventually ends up in the belly of the tiger’. |
I think things will improve for better drastically as soon as IBB returns. Trust me, IBB is returning not for any personal agenda, but to correct things and reform the country back to the Giant of Africa. I see a better Nigeria. |
What could be more degrading than the position of head of the "SHOW ME YOUR PATIKULAS FOLKS"? |
