That fat bitch
@Jakumo:
This is why I continue to ask you the same question over and over: "when are you going to finally get your own car"?

That post or statement of yours is irrelevant and absolutely disproportionate for this forum.

That lady, Mrs Etteh, if she is not old enough to be your grand mother I'm sure she is definitely old enough to be your mother.
A real man should never use such a boorish term to describe a woman under any circumstances.

You've shown me again that it is what it is, a lost ball will always be a lost soul, which can never be reclaimed by the appropriate party.
And common sense is absolutely not for sale.

My Recommendation: You should be prohibited for at least a month from this forum.

Back to the topic:
It's about time for Etteh to finally step aside with her worthless and despicable leadership style. This is not what we need in Nigeria.
There is no way one could effectively utilize Hairdressing salon skill to runNigerian federal government daily operations and be successful. It just doesn't work like that anymore in Nigeria.
Politics › Re: Where Is Alh. Atiku Abubakar by BigB11(m): 3:02pm On Oct 26, 2007
It is common knowledge that when you overplay your hand, It makes the guilty look innocent,

Just Because OBJ was so hell bent on removing Atiku he overplayed it to the extent that Atiku who is very very far from being a saint, is now seen as being victimised

I so much doubt if left alone Atiku would have defeated Yar'Adua in any election but the last regime went over the board using all kind of gutter tactics to truncate the

ambition of Atiku to the extent that Atiku now won the sympathy of many. Even seen as the voice of the opposition. If you as much as fly with Atiku on

board, the next thing would be EFCC picking you up. This rubbishes the whole anti corruption campaign.

Infact he was not seen as a fair arbiter. Atiku too now mastered the act of playing the victim. He goes to the court at every instant and he gets acquitted and becomes more

popular. OBJ had to rig the election so much that Atiku and the opposition are now being vindicated when they said the electoral process was very flawed.

Some people that should be standing trial for corruption are now being seen as heroes and their corrupt deeds forgiven because they were the ones who stood up to the

Tyranny of OBJ
@DAYOKANU:
Wow! Wow! Wow!
You have made my day.
You've used an intellectual method of communication to express my mind for me. You've touched it all and you've also nurtured the dead heads in a very civilized manner.
You're absolutely the man of the moment.

No one is here to embrace Atiku or call Atiku a saint. We are just pointing out the possibilities, the strategic political move and how excessive vindictiveness, greediness, and unprofessionalism could backfire.
When you live in a glass house, it is a common sense to be systematical when you throw stone.
A rapacious disposition is never a great image for any leader to wear.

Once Again:OBJ is not EFCC; infact, he remains the main obstacle blocking the progress of this great organization. And Nigeria will remain stationary till Nigerians discover and publicly address this fact.

@BigB1,

When and how often I visit Nigeria is none of your business. You may be home, but your posts
and views on Nairaland shows that you are the one that is actually lost. In some strange ways,
you pray for things to get better in Nigeria, but in another sentence you are hoping for your two
failed idols, Atiku and IBB especially to come back to mis-rule Nigeria. I wonder who is lost then?

I implore you again to look at the configuration on the ground, not indulge in some Atiku or IBB
worship or yearning of the old days when the north had monopoly on power no matter what.
Please explain how you envisage Atiku becoming the next president by skipping Yar Adua or
you think those in the south will foolishly line up behind Atiku (another candidate from the north)
in the next 4 or 8 years?
@Iyke-D:
Nice post, you truly sound like a fighter unlike other times.

You see, you're a good guy, but you do not pay attention.

This topic says, "where is Alh.Atiku Abubakar"
And I've also stated many times that I wasn't picking the next president, I was only pointing out the possibility and Atiku's latest strategic move.
I haven't called him a great leader or a failed leader.

Moreover, IBB has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. It's time for you guys to stop smelling the man's balls.
Ain't you tired of the smell?

Excellent point of view.
Politics › Re: Where Is Alh. Atiku Abubakar by BigB11(m): 6:28pm On Oct 24, 2007
Atiku can lie low for as long as he wants - but there is no way he will become President
of Nigeria under the current configuration on the ground.
Iyke-D:
How could you come up with this conclusion? My man, you didn't even vote.

It seems to me that you truly do not understand Nigerian politics.
And please keep in mind that I'm not here to speculate on who will win and who will not win the next presidential election; but the way things are currently going in Nigeria anything can happen.

Question:
Don't you think that OBJ's involvement with this new admin could also backfire, if it's not already?

Every real politician in Nigeria understands what Atiku has gone through with OBJ as his boss, they also knew that there was no way Nigerians could have truly experienced Atiku's leadership role or style (whether it was ineffective or not) with a boorish vindictive leader in Aso Rock.
Atiku was pretty much disabled as a leader or VP during those horrible days; And this might just be an opportunity for him to show Nigerians what he's really capable of doing. Therefore, it isn't over till the fat lady sings.
A true leader will never quit and will develop a suitable strategy to use his unsuitable or tribulation moment to his advantage.

Just keep in Mind that it doesn't take much to brainwash Nigerians, who are also going to be the voters.

Hence, do not fall asleep, my friend; the door might just open up for Atiku when the time is right.

Mckren:

I also notice that you've shown your total support for OBJ just because of the implementation of EFCC. Please, do not get things twisted, the man still represents a major obstacle for the EFCC.

EFCC would have been a major accomplishment if not because of OBJ's Boorish leadership style. He has done everything and anything to make EFCC daily operations unprofessional and mission impossible

Please note that EFCC is not OBJ. I think many of us still continue to mix things up.
Politics › Re: Where Is Alh. Atiku Abubakar by BigB11(m): 2:25pm On Oct 24, 2007
I never called Atiku a great leader or a great politician; I was only pointing out the possibility. I also think Atiku's latest move (laying low) is very strategic and you just never know what might come out of it.

I am 110% against OBJ's leadership style. A leader must operate by showing great examples to his followers.
Now, Mckren, could you please answer the following questions?

What is the difference between OBJ and Kalu?
What is the difference between OBJ and Ibori?
What is the difference between OBJ and Alams?
What is the difference between OBJ and Abacha?
Who is responsible for the trouble between Etteh and the senate?
Why is the new administration continues to struggle day after day?
Why is 90% of the governors are still walking around freely in Nigeria today?
Who is responsible for the trouble in Ibadan?
What happened to the infrastructure projects in Nigeria during OBJ's regime?
Why is EFCC continues to struggle in Nigeria today?

Leadership is an invaluable natural talent; it is either you have it or you just don't, absolutely there is no in between.
You can not be greedy, vindictive, unprofessional, indiscipline, hypocrite and expect to be successful as a leader.

OBJ represents total failure and a major reason why Nigeria will continue to struggle for many years to come. He has created tangible and intangible crises for all of us.

Besides that I do not also agree that President Yaradua is not a deceiver as under his 6months regime I have seen the height of deception.
You are correct.
But FYI: Yar'Adua continues to budge out of his comfort zone just because of OBJ's boorish involvement with this new admin. I'm sure that with time things will settle down and we will all be able to experience Yar'Adua's genuine character.
Politics › Re: Where Is Alh. Atiku Abubakar by BigB11(m): 6:43pm On Oct 23, 2007
I beg to disagree with you sir! OBJ only made few people and these are the business people who made billions when he was in power. These same people will later abandon him and run to whoever is in power tomorrow. As for politicians, he made just a few and for those that were showing loyalty to him when he was in power, this was largely false loyalty and he secured their loyalty by using EFCC and other government machinery to intimidate them. They will soon break free and we shall see that he has no core loyalists
.

Thank you very much.

It feels good to finally see someone that understands politics.

At BigB1, you mean the above can happen against an incumbent party? Which Nigeria are we
talking about? You mean the outsiders will out-rig those in control of INEC, police and army
The difference:
Yar'Adua is not a bully, not greedy and not a deceiver.
He will allow Nigerians to pick the next president.

My question for you is, "are you going to vote this time around"?

Because it is absolutely senseless to me when a voteless Nigerian from abroad is vigorously debating politics with me.
Politics › Re: Where Is Alh. Atiku Abubakar by BigB11(m): 6:10pm On Oct 23, 2007
OBJ pure failure continues to expose on a daily basis; and if things continue like this, the next person Nigerians will be looking up to will be ATIKU.

Have you thought that OBJ's failure will prove to Nigerians that ATIKU was not as bad as OBJ and his junkies had speculated in the past?

time?
My man, you continue to prove my point for me. Do you know anything about Nigerian politics?

How did Yar'Adua get to Aso Rock?
Obviously, not because of our votes, therefore it is senseless to use Yar'Adua as a next presidential election sample.

Moreover, in Nigeria, a party umbrella could be formed overnight and still win the election.

You're absolutely wrong.

Do you know why Saddam was captured in few months and Osama is still chilling?

Saddam thought he had people, but he later discovered that most people were behind him because they were scared of him.
On the other hand, Osama is still chilling today because few people behind him are absolutely loyal to him. And these folks can not be bought.

That is the difference; and I'm sure that with time, many will realize that OBJ's time is over and we will all witness how quickly his supporters sycophant will reduce drastically.

Atiku is young, healthy, very rich and still has time to brush up his image.

I think he has a chance!
Politics › Re: Where Is Alh. Atiku Abubakar by BigB11(m): 4:51pm On Oct 23, 2007
Methinks that Nigerians are yet to learn their lesson. If people like IBB, Ikimi, Anenih, Adedibu et al continue to hold sway in our polity today, then we'll continue to remain bastards that will be ridden upon any time we are called to election= to 'cast' stolen votes!
My man, that is what politics is all about.
Politics is a dirty game and regardless of what we feel or do, it will remain so forever and ever.

Fact: The different between a great politician and a great criminal is not much. They both have the same skill, but they implement the skill in different manners. Therefore, a great politician(leader) has a lot in common with a great criminal. Please, take your time and prove me wrong.

The problem in Nigeria is that we Nigerians do not truly understand the accurate definition of politics, we tend to be gullible and we expect too much from politicians. But on the flip side, the politicians understand us well well and they know exactly what to use to entice us at the right time.

Don't fall asleep, Atiku will be back shortly, he's only looking for the right time and the right opportunity to use to implement his big return.
Moreover, he's also currently playing an interesting politics game and I will not be surprised if he ends up with the trophy at the end of the day.
You can not get tired of what you don't see or feel. Very very soon OBJ and his junkies will become an obsolete battleship.

On the other hand:
Adedibu is not a politician; there is a big difference between a politician and a mere cacophonous thug.
OBJ is not a true politician; there is a big difference between a politician and a mere bully.

Great politicians are noiseless criminals and they also represent great leaders.
Politics › Re: Where Is Alh. Atiku Abubakar by BigB11(m): 9:50pm On Oct 22, 2007
Atiku's location is between France, London and Dubai.

Fact: In the eyes of many, Nigeria is still politically unstable. Many feel that OBJ is still pretty much in control and his vindictiveness and propaganda actions have not be disactivated; but with time this OBJ's involvement (with the new admin) will dissolve. Till then, Atiku and many others will continue to relax in foreign countries.

My advise: Do not count Atiku out as yet; this is Nigeria which is full of Nigerians, trust me, anything can happen in 2011 presidential election.
The man is still very young, he's very rich and he has many loyal Nigerians behind him.

Remember, only MONEY talks in my neighbourhood

I am quoting now "Abacha died because he took a pill which he thought was Viagra" it obviously means by this sentence that the author of that story knew that Abacha was not taking Viagra and it also means that the suggestion of that writing that the very person who administered that drug on him knew it was administering Viagra. Therefore it meant he was being administered with poison and there is no doubt about it. With the way he died and the immediacy of his death having taken the drug speaks load. Viagra doesn't kill in minutes. But he died minutes after taking the pill
This was confirmed by people who were closed to him.
Politics › How Abacha Was Killed by BigB11(op): 3:13pm On Oct 22, 2007
How Abacha Was Killed, By Uba Ahmed

Of course Abacha never died a natural death. Abacha was murdered. You see there were two Indian girls who were dormant operators of the foreign intelligence and they had to be flown in because every measures that were taken to get assess to Abacha was aborted because of the vigilance of his Security Agents. So when the two girls came, they were introduced to Abacha through his innocent friends, they don't even know what this girls were all about.

But for you to know that Abacha was killed deliberately, you need to read either Newsweek or The Time magazine I'm not sure which of the two because it's now almost 9 years ago. But one of them when they were covering the death of Abacha, you need to read loaded sentence, it said Abacha died, I am quoting now "Abacha died because he took a pill which he thought was Viagra" it obviously means by this sentence that the author of that story knew that Abacha was not taking Viagra and it also means that the suggestion of that writing that the very person who administered that drug on him knew it was administering Viagra. Therefore it meant he was being administered with poison and there is no doubt about it. With the way he died and the immediacy of his death having taken the drug speaks load. Viagra doesn't kill in minutes. But he died minutes after taking the pill. He was obviously killed and that is my conclusion.

You were the Minister of Labour then and was still in office for sometime after Abacha died so why were the Indian ladies not arrested and so on?

You know this is a security matter. I did not know how the security people handled it, but I do remember very well that I called their attention to that publication and I asked them to read it very well and to read it between the lines. So what they did to them, I knew also that they put them under house arrest not in prison but under house arrest. So I won't be able to say much about the security aspect of that one.

In fact they wanted Abacha to die because they wanted the Nigerian naira to go back from where it has come from the SAP era so that it will continue to have a free fall like we are having during Obasanjo and they wanted to take over our oil, all our assets to be sold and indeed all our assets have effectively been sold now by Obasanjo. They did not only sell but they even confiscated by force, unconstitutionally, illegally properties of Nigerian citizens and allotted it to themselves. That is the kind of government we went through for eight years.

Abdulsalami Abubakar himself did not help us when he took over, because when they were talking of Abacha having so much money or Abacha loot, Abacha loot. What has amazed me and what has surprised me is that no Nigerian yet has taken it up to embark on investigative reporting to find out really how did Abdulsalam Abubakar came about the information of Abacha loot in Switzerland.

Switzerland is one country where the Jews have been hiding their assets and wealth, gold, money and everything they own that is precious since 1917 during the 1st world war including the 2nd world war, from 1917 till today the Jews are unable to get assess to their inheritance because of the coding system and the absolute secrecy with which the Swiss account are shrouded and yet Abdulsalami was able to tell us within his 7 days of ascendancy to power that Abacha looted money and that they have found out the account, they have found out the numbers and that they have found out the balances.

Now I will tell you one thing. When Obasanjo came he confirmed it and having confirmed that he even went forward to say they have recovered some of the loot and our Senate made it as one of the basis of impeaching Obasanjo, the disclosure of the money they have recovered because its not been receipts, it has never been reflected in our accounts, budget or the federation account and therefore the senators when they wanted to impeach him made that as one of the subjects of investigation and impeachment.

I can even tell you more, like I have told you repeatedly, Abacha's government was the only government that operated under sanction, yet when he came to power Nigeria was owing foreign loan of $33 billion by the time he left Abdulsalami himself had announced in his budget speech that our loan was reduced to 26 billion which meant during the 5 years of Abacha, he was able to repay 7 billion dollars.

In addition to the repayment of 7 billion to our foreign debt, we had a domestic debt of over a hundred million (100,000,000), Abacha paid it. Abacha left foreign reserve of $9 billion when you add that to $7 billion that is $16 billion.role of the west, economic policies and more,

INCREDIBLE! Buhari, Atiku present 3 presidential election results at tribunal

THE controversy over the outcome of the April 21 presidential election took a new twist on Thursday as the candidates of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), General Muhammadu Buhari, and that of the Action Congress (AC), former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, tendered three final results of the poll at the presidential election petition tribunal sitting in Abuja.

Counsel for Buhari, Chief Mike Ahamba (SAN), noted that the results were on the same INEC Form EC8DA (form for final election result). He pointed out to the court that the manual and electronic results which are Certified True Copy (CTC) from INEC also bore the signature of the electoral commission’s Chairman, Professor Muarice Iwu. The third is the internet version of the result.

In the results presented, the manual version has Yar’Adua with 25,316,176 votes, Buhari, 6,846,740 votes and Atiku, 2,601,748 votes. In the electronic version, Yar’Adua had 24,638,063 votes, Buhari 6,605,291 votes while Atiku had 2,637,848 votes.

In the internet version, Yar’Adua had 24,784,227 votes, Buhari had 6,607,419 votes while Atiku, whose name was vacant, had 2,567,789. Marked as exhibit P2B 2-3, the court accepted the conflicting final presidential results after counsel for President Umaru Yar’Adua and Vice President Goodluck Jonathan, INEC, Police, Chief of Army Staff raised no objection to the documents being admitted as exhibit by the court.

The results reportedly had President Yar’Adua of the Peoples Democratic Party as the winner of the poll. All the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory results from the presidential election were on the documents.

Accepting the exhibit alongside two other documents, the court’s presiding justice, Justice James Ogebe, held that “the documents are accepted as exhibits by the consent of all parties in this petition.”

The electoral commission introduced another dimension into the result saga when it refused to accept the final presidential election result downloaded on its website and presented as exhibit by Abubakar.

Justice Ogebe could not hide his disbelief as he asked the INEC legal team if it was disowning the result got from its website. Lead counsel for INEC, Dr. Bello Fadile, explained to the court that though he had inspected the document presented by Atiku, it would be difficult to accept it since it was not duly certified by the commission.

He added that since computer websites were not totally fool-proof, there were chances that some people could have broken into the website and tampered with the original result posted on it by the commission.

The court, which appeared unconvinced by the explanation, said it would be waiting for the appropriate time for the commission to prove its suspicion. An application brought by Chief Ahamba to get more witnesses to testify on other contentious exhibits brought by Buhari was rejected by the court, because he failed to specify the number of the witnesses, what they would be tendering and how long it would take them to do so.

Yar’Adua’s legal team had objected to the application, while INEC raised no objection. INEC’s position on it left the Yar’Adua corner with mouth-agape. Proceedings got stuck at a stage when Chief Ahamba could not produce the witnesses needed to kick-start the full hearing of the consolidated petition.

He told the court that he did not plan for presentation of witnesses, since he thought that his application for more depositions of witnesses would succeed. A suggestion from the Yar’Adua legal team that Buhari’s petition be struck out over inability to produce witnesses, was frowned on by the court, with Justice Ogebe reminding the counsel of the importance of making everybody to have a feel of justice in the hearing of the cases.

He demanded the withdrawal of the suggestion and it was withdrawn with apologies.
