And may I add, that even with the threats of remaining single and alone, except she wants, no woman is ever alone. Even if unmarried till old age, she becomes like a mother of other people's children.

Pregnancy, childbirth and childcare is stressful. If you add to that, going to the market, cooking, cleaning, washing, going to work 9-5, then you now know why your young wife looks like my aunty.

As a husband, I will make sure my partner had the best of pregnancy and not care...she won't hv to be going to market someone will be delivering to our house....I can even be going to the market myself not a big deal..... going to work 9 - 5pm is good for her cos I can't be anyone's financial slave....a lady is expected to work and make her own moni cos she went to school and is a university graduate....

I did not marry a woman to control my life. There's nothing like cheating. I don't know the cause of the breakup of Mr Agwu's marriage, but I won't be surprised if the above was the reason. Women , unlike we men, crave intimacy and closeness, and communication. (Men do, but we can go for long without it, and sometimes forget that women cannot switch off the desire like we can).

Ur second paragraph is not entirely correct. While it is true that theg crave intimacy, closeness etc, they also limit their emotional investment in any relationship including marriage which explains why the females can wake up one day and sah they are not doing again and are ruthless about it. They don't care about the closeness and intimacy of the past and they move on very quickly. It's only men that are stuck in romantic idealism....

I 100% agree with you and I've been thinking about this for a long time. That's why for me, responsible God fearing polygamy is necessary risk management as a man.
