5thcolm: Take the western world away from you life situation. What would you be doing now... probably hunting or maybe about to be used for sacrifice. You can't bend reality. The West can take us out of the equation and still live almost as civilized as they are today. You keep saying western thieves claim ownerships. Why is it that Africans didn't invent anything of note before the west came. Why didn't we have electricity, cars or airplane before the west came? Now you are claiming they stole what we never had. Only thing the west stole from us is artifacts like Benin bronze, nothing else. Any contributions by an African individual was cause of learning the western knowledge No what the western European savages did to you was to convince you to think less of urself and it has worked on your mind. That's the same thing they did to the native Indians. There are 190 countries in the world many of who have more inventions than the 5 imperialists of western europe. Even many African countries are more technologically advanced than the 5 western European countries. Iraq, Qatar, Jordan, all hv finer scientists than the western European ones |

omurphy23456: I ones stayed in Gambia for 8years, their currency have absolutely more value than the naira but note it doesn't mean you will make it easily oh. in 2012 before i left that country, banks were still paying fresh employee an equivalent of 40k while our banks were already paying about 70k for freshers then. Security there is excellent, but dont get me wrong their police officers are also corrupt, but law abiding when it comes to human right. Food stuffs are cheap there eg . Fresh fishes from Tange sea shore, meats are far cheaper, used cloths are extremely cheaper there. For tourism - Gambia is an excellent place - senegambia, colony, bacoteh , buffer zone, fajara, etc. Back then in 2008- for a whole 30 days we dont see power failure, that alone spore us to paying our utility bills without complaining. I LOVE THE GAMBIA!!! We must drive out the western European savages from the Gambia all other African Countries. Let them go and enjoy their "first world"....savages.... |

But this issue of insecurity, electricity etc is making me go nuts. I'm tired of buying fuel everyday to power my house. Are they jobs there? What do you think about setting up a business there? Use solar 70% of the time and fuel 30% of the time for fridge etc Main problem we have in Nigeria is that N10k no get value again |

Bullman: I just got to The Gambia, 4hrs flight from Lagos via air peace ticket cost 223000 one way..so if you are planning for an adventure like me .. it's not a bad destination.
Dalasi to naira is about 11 naira or 10 sometimes. The light is super stable. The people are nice.
Once they know u are a Nigerian my guy u go pay money tire if u don't shine your eyes.. and they treat u like a celebrity.
Honestly the environment is conducive very very.. food seems cheap, houses aren't so cheap but you can pay monthly or pay 6 months. 1 year upfront rent payment doesn't happen here unless you the tenant wants to pay upfront.
Ask me anything you wana ask I will give you first hand information.
If it's business Gambia is good not better than Nigeria due to population.
Gambia has about 2 m people, Nigeria well u already know.
You can't be rich rich here.. But you can be extremely comfortable. Their girls are really cute, extremely dark skin like some senegalese and somalis incase you like women.
And there are alot of retired white people living here ..
They take covid 19 rules very seriously. I've beensaying this for a long time that Africans should start looking inward and back to the continent.... If it was 3rd world as they claim then why are the western European savages living there?? |

ogabs20: The Lagos to Kano route is the old and narrow gauge one. This is the one that existed from the colonial era. It's not as comfortable as these new ones and it takes days to one's destination. The new trains which are the standard gauge only operate from ABJ-KD, LAG-IB and Itakpe- Warri. The plan is to connect Lagos to Abuja then to Kano but they've decided to segment the construction. The current construction going on is the Kano to Kaduna that will automatically link Kano to Abuja. Then there is the Itakpe- to Abuja construction that will also automatically link Abuja to Warri. Construction on this route will resume later in the year The reason the one of the colonial Era is not as comfortable as the new one is because those ones were built for the sole purpose of transporting goods from the hinterland to be sent to Britain. |

Dude what u experienced is not out of this world, many guys getting it on a regular. The problem here is u are not used to it and most importantly u are freaking MARRIED!!!
Those this 6ft so called damsel know u are married?? She probably does. Cos A gal won’t come for u that way without doing her homework.
On the other hand u know next to nothing about this gal besides Unilag which is still unverified. Anyone can claim Unilag student.
I advise u to immediately stop and do some findings about this gal while u cut of this relationship simple cos u are MARRIED.
Do not disrespect ur wife and family of a 6ft decent gal or maybe even jezebel.
If u were smart u won’t even bring her to ur house knowing she wants to come there without barely knowing u. That’s suspicious bt like I said she knows u more than u know her.
Do u even know what she wants from u? Do u think it’s just a passing fling? I sincerely hope so bt u have to let her go and focus back on what’s really important in ur life and it’s not her.
Find other things to preoccupy urself.
Note/warning: A decent gal won’t sleep with a married man. And she knows ur married? And didn’t even hesitate?? This contradicts every decent thing u thought she was. Smh. Bloody nonsense. I believe a married man should sleep with anyone else he fancies. Monogamy is only for civilians and polygamy is for Kings... |

In Abuja, I got fuel at #400 per litre but from the black market sellers
Yesterday in Lagos, I got a litre for #600 while others sell at #700.
Just for information sake, how much is fuel in your area? N10k is not a small amount of money but Nigerians have assumed it is. N10k is USD20 which is a lot of money - even abroad ppl wont rest till they get their money back - they won't forfeit their USD20 just like that. Fight till you get your money back...it is not a small amount. |

folake4u: This was my first time boarding a train ride and it was eventful yet awesome. Many Nigerians have taken to using the railway service as against road trips(which is farther, fear of bandits, and bad roads). For instance, from Abuja to Benin is 10-12hrs straight by road.
There are different railway stations in Nigeria and they ply several routes which includes: 1. Ujevwu-Itakpe. 2. Abeokuta-Ibadan 3. Lagos-Abeokuta 4. Lagos-Ibadan 5. Abuja-Kaduna
The Beginning: There are two railway stations in Kogi State, Ajaokuta Railway station and Itakpe Railway station. I boarded a bus from Abuja at Jabi Motorpark, I told the bus driver I was going to Itakpe Railway station but he dropped me at Ajaokuta Railway Station instead. From Abuja to Itakpe is 3hrs, the price is 3,500-4k. From Abuja to Ajaokuta is 5hrs. The driver collected 2,500 from me. So, choose your poison. I prefer anyone drops at Itakpe Railway Station though (because it's the last and most important bus stop). ***************************************** The train leaves twice in a day, morning and afternoon and so I had missed the morning train, and so I waited for the afternoon train. Morning train leaves Itakpe at 8:30am while that at Ajaokuta is 9:23am. Afternoon train leaves Itakpe at 2:45pm, that of Ajaokuta is 3:38pm. Tickets are sold 20-30mins to the train arrival at Ajaokuta Railway station. There are two types of tickets sold here. 1. First class- N5,500. 2. Economy class- N3000.
I boarded the First Class coach because I wanted comfort and less noise.
From Ajaokuta to Agbor is 3hrs and so I got to Agbor at 6:30pm(instead of 6:12pm) because there was delay at the earliest train station in Uromi.
I boarded a bus at Agbor Railway Station to Benin for N2,000 and I arrived safely home and dry.
Share your train ride experience here, whether Ujevwu-Itakpe, Abeokuta-Ibadan, Lagos-Abeokuta, Lagos-Ibadan, or Abuja-Kaduna.
Pic 1: Train station at Ajaokuta, Kogi State. Pic 2-3: Waiting area of passengers. These passengers were very tired. Some of them like me missed their morning train ride. Pic 4: Arrival of morning train passengers who want to board vehicle to Abuja. Isn't it buhari that built this. Has anyone ever said "Thank you Buhari"....all they know to do is complain. |

Rugaria: This is the net consequence of watching too much CNN and BBC. This is what mental colonialization has done to the biggest black nation on earth. Operation brain phuck! This is what Bob Marley was wailing about, when he asked the black man to "emancipate yourself from mental slavery".. The people you are going to die for don't rate you. The war you're jumping into, you know nothing about..
This is how our grand fathers went to fight in British wars against Germany in all sorts of places in the name of fighting the World Wars. When it was all over, the only people being celebrated as heroes of these wars are the whites and no mention is made of the black Africans who put down their lives for a fight they knew nothing about..
I have said it here many times, we need to have our own CNN, our own Al Jazeera, our own Press TV... This is a question of national security. Africans need to be exposed to world events based on pro African narratives... Because, As long as millions of black people in Africa depend on western sources for their primary sources of information, so long will their mindsets be messed up in all sorts of wrong ways... You have never volunteered to fight for Congo Kinshasa who has been fighting against a western induced war for over a decade now. A war that has killed over 6 million people. But you want to fight for Ukraine...
Ndi volunteers.. This is indeed an untapped business I.e. an African CNN or BBC.... We should encourage ppl to create it. |
Romance › Re: I'm In A Fix... HELP ME! by BigBashiru: 1:07pm On Mar 02, 2022 |
SugarPapi: So... I'm 39/m, married with 3 beautiful kids. Wife and kids are abroad, while I'm gainfully employed here in Nigeria. This is my story -
I've always been a chilled introverted guy with almost zero worries. I'm committed to my work and my work is also committed to me, at least, I'm able to send a healthy amount to my wife and kids in the Queen's country, every month. As a 'Manchelor', this is my daily schedule - wake up, go to work, close late, get home, play PS, skype the fam, sleep, rinse and repeat.
I seldom have time for social media, but once in a while, I log into Facebook and IG to catchup with friends. This was the beginning of my dilemma.
December of last year, I was scrolling on my timeline when I got a notif. Someone had liked my picture. I clicked through her profile and saw this young pretty girl. Honestly, I did not exactly fancy her at first, but I reciprocated the like on one of her pictures and logged of to bed.
When I woke the next morning, she had followed me. I followed back and thanked her for the follow in her dms.
This damsel was around 6ft, pretty, fair and easy on the eyes. She did not have any revealing or tight fitting clothes on her profile so at the beginning, I could not exactly place her physique.
We started chatting that day and as satan will have it, one day, I got leave from work. It was an unfateful Friday so I invited her to a day out at The Palms. We ate , watched a movie then when I wanted to book a ride for her back home, she said she'd like to know my house.
Tbh, I thought this was quite forward and voiced it. I love my Wife dearly. I love my children as well. I would never do anything to deliberately hurt them so I turned down her offer and booked the ride. She stays at Yaba, I at LP1.
She entered her ride and I did not contact her again.
Well, hello next morning!
Her WhatsApp call woke me up. It was a Saturday so I was at home. We spoke at length, she thanked me for the previous day and told me to at least allow her pay me back. "This girl sef!" I thought to myself.
We got to know each other better across the phone in that singular call and I felt it in my soul that she was a genuine one... not an 'InMessage' girl. She was a student at UNILAG in her 300l, studying Accounting. She was a really homely girl, light spoken and very respectful.
It was not yet mid-day when her cab to my house was 10 minutes away.
She came in, looking like a queen. Jeeez! Remembering that day sends shivers down my spine. Thankfully, I leave in a building all to myself so there no prying eyes to call Mama omo SugarPapi in faraway Ireland. My security guy opened for them, she alighted and paid the cab herself. WAWU!
She came and hugged me, we held hands as I pulled her in. She had not fully entered my house when I swept her off her feet, our lips crushed together in intense canoodle. Her tongue was probing inside my mouth as mine hers. Before I could process what was happening, she went on her knees and I felt my soul leave my body.
By this time, I had still not seen her body, so I led her to my guest room and my God!
Brief history... before this day, I had always considered myself an 'ass guy'. Actually, the few guys I consider friends know me as an ass guy. I loved huge melons but 'the behind' gets me most of the time.
Dear NLers, this girl's bossoms where neither ginormous nor small. They were just the perfect size and they stood! My God they stood! Firmly in my face, begging, begging to be...
I'm a 39yo guy and I confess that I have never experienced sex like that till that day! She was so sensual, so soft, no rush, no wrong. She mounted and rode me that day till I came. It has never ever happened before... not even with my partner and my she can f*ck!
It took every fiber of my being not to cry like a child as she rode me with ease and finesse. It was not that type of riding where the girl tries to burst your kidneys or emasculate you. It was focused on just my shaft and its cap. At some point, I was afraid I will pass out.
I had to quickly pull her off me before I pass out.
We ordered some take out, went at it three more times and around 8pm she was on a ride home. I told her to send me her account for me to send her something for the weekend. She out rightly refused and also refused me paying for her transport. WTH?! Abi na mami water tins?
Well it's been three months now and I can't seem to let her go. I have never experienced sex the way she does it. I confess that I may be catching actual feelings for her. I see myself jealous when she receives a call from her male counterparts, she once showed me a video she made with her ex. I was so angry. When she noticed my demeanour, she came, sat on my naked groin and whispered in my ears - "he is in the past, THE PAST".
I have to come voice out my predicament because she is now taking space in my heart. I can't do this to my family.
Guys, how do I 'divorce' this girl? You are allowed to have more than one wife. |

The deceased, Gideon Kemboi, 34 and his wife, Sharon Kemboi, 27, had been having family issues for the last few years.
"Quarrel, fights, and screams have been the order of the day in the couple’s family for some time now. They have never had peace in their home,” an eyewitness, Tecla Jerotich said.
The wrangles within the family began after the wife suspected the teacher was having an extramarital affair.
Jerotich said that Sharon reportedly took a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband in the chest in the early hours of Sunday, February 27.
He died after losing a lot of blood while being rushed to the hospital.
The Suspect has since been arrested by the police and is currently being held at Kapsabet Police Station where she is awaiting to be arraigned in court.
"The police officers arrested the woman as well as took her husband’s body to Kapsaret county hospital mortuary,” Jerotich said.
The criminal investigation team have started investigations into the matter to establish what caused the incident.
Nandi Central OCPD, Doris Chemos, urged married couples not to take law into their hands and to resolve their issues amicably.
