rusia has the most powerful weapons in the world, and NATO should be ashamed of themselves, they are only threatened by one country, Imagine them against Russia,China,North Korea and Iran huh
The last 4 countries you have mentioned have changed the world order and that is good news for Africa.....
Foreign Affairs › Re: Jean-Yves Le Drian: Putin Needs To Understand NATO Has Nuclear Weapons by BigBashiru: 3:45am On Feb 25, 2022
OAra:
To put it bluntly, Putin is operating on borrowed time.

The modernization of the Russian military has happened by taking huge loans via 2 semi-governmental institutions (Vnesheconombank, which acts as an independent development bank and Promsvyazban, which services around 70% of Russia's military defence contracts), thus not weighting on the limited state's budget. Now these 2 entities will be completely frozen out of Western capital markets.

The mix of Western sanctions includes financial sanctions (currently targeting over 80% of the Russian banking sector), export control actions (for example Western companies are barred from selling modern tech, semiconductors etc to Russia and its allies) and personal sanctions (Putin's close allies and their families, the Duma's members etc).

Today, first day of the crisis, the Russian market opened up at -30% and the central bank had to massively intervene to avoid a collapse of the ruble (which is underway anyway, reaching 89.60 rubles to 1$), with further interventions likely to be required.

To sum it up, Russia's economy will be heavily hit by the sanctions, its people (already suffering from a weak economy) will suffer even more, and with its main military revenue sources blocked, it is highly unlikely Russia will be able to maintain a military edge for long, with some even calling this the Kremlin's swan song (I do not believe this for a second, but it's true that they will be severely weakened).

Putin is acting on borrowed time. He knows it, the West knows it, and he knows that his enemies know it.

In the medium-long term this little war will have costed Russia x10, x100 times more than what they gained.

Sanctions might not make for big news, but they have the power to throw a country in terminal economic decline. Enjoy your famine, Russians.
Russian strategy is Africa.... but the Africans themselves don't know how important they are due to colonial brainwashing. There's an Africa Russia summit in November that aims to boost trade and cooperation between Russia and Africa and Russia is relying onthat to overcome sanctions...

One question?
Can Russia have a military base in Mexico?

Yes there are over 13 Russia neighbors already In nato , trust me dude, Ukraine is special to Putin ( as a matter of fact this has being on over 8yrs now!)
There is something special about Ukraine, screw sovereignty.
Did USA consider the sovereignty of Libya, Iran, Vietnam, Afghan?
Let's not be hyprocrites lad, I don't support Russia Invading Ukraine but are they doing something new, absolutely not!
Russia did not invade Ukraine. An invasion is to bring about regime change or to occupy the territory aka colonize. And that is not the purpose of the operation. The purpose of the operation is to significantly degrade Ukraines military capability because Ukraine + the West = threat to Russia. The Russian military is only striking military targets.... I think Putin is a morally upright man though I could be wrong.

Stupid, meaningless sanctions that don't do shit.

Putin has exposed US as a weak paper tiger. So all the talk that Russia is a 3rd world country with obsolete military has been demystified under 24hrs.

I have always said here that the day the US dares to engage Russia, continental US will be turned to glass.

Fvck with Russia at your own risk!!
I read Putins message in which he authorized the military intervention.... he have examples with Syria, Afghanistan and lybia saying Russia could be next via Ukraine....

Putin will meet with African leaders in November this year for Africa-Russia summit. I'm sure putin will also mention the illegal invasion of lybia to the African leaders.....

If this war had broken out in Africa now you would be hearing comments such as: "the black man", "black leaders sha", "why are black leaders so selfish and wicked" "something is wrong with the black man"... now dat Russia has done it no one is calling Russia in derogatory terms. White worshippers.

When I said it here that Ukraine was the target and Putin's ridiculous dream of re-creating the old USSR was the driving force, some people called me names like brainwashed, etc. They said it was western propaganda. Now it's happening. When was the last time Putin even mentioned NATO and their missiles? Is the endgame not clear enough now? Was it not his spy chief that disclosed the entire plan right in front of Putin? When some of you support authoritarian leaders on the grounds of "America has done worse", I wonder the kind of logic y'all employ. I only pity the people of Ukraine, citizens and immigrants alike.

Here are comments from my brothers on that thread. I wonder how they're taking this now.
The military operation is only striking military facilities....and is aimed at degrading the military capability of Ukraine which combined with nato and foreign support, poses a security threat to russia

He was once a pragmatic and visionary leader but age is no longer on his side. The Tinubu of decades ago is no longer the one vying for the presidential seat.
Man should give way for younger ones.
What do the younger ones know? Before the younger ones come and sell Nigeria to western European savages.

There needs to be continuity in leadership. Buhari should hand over to Tinubu.

There are many things Tinubu and Buhari know these young candidates do not know e.g. the borders of present day Nigeria were drawn up by the French in the 1800s. France is still trying to colonize west africa etc. Buhari will pass on knowledge of the Nigerian civil war to his successor.

it is true that the average Nigeria is corruption personified. But i also believe that all it takes for Nigeria to be reset is to be ruled by a no-nonsense person. If we can have a president who will deal ruthlessly with any political official Found guilty of any corruption case, others will sit up. All it takes is just to use one person as a scapegoat. The capital punishment for corruption in China is death. Why can’t we do same here?? It can’t work here because corruption has eaten deep into the fabric of all areas of governing and government. even the process of electing a president is deeply embedded in corruption. I believe cleansing should start from the top. If and only if we can have a president who will surprise even the so-called cabals that brought him into power. Banditry, inflation, rising unemployment, stinking corruption, low value currency, Non stop borrowing, hunger and all happening at the same time under one man who is just there to fulfill an Islamic agenda and Nigerians still have not learnt their lesson. They are doing everything possible to install a lifeless drug baron as the next president.
You make no sense. Buhari is a good president. Tinubu is good as well.

All pan Africanist tribes like the Fulani and the Ijaw should be banned from ruling Nigeria again.

These guys are parasites because they are not indigenous to Nigeria

They are the bane of Africa's progress.

They don't want the progress of Nigeria, infact they would rather it burns down so they can carry their loot to their relatives in other African countries where they belong.

Look at Buhari increasing the price of rice immediately he got to Aso rock so as to enrich his Fula tribes men in Sierra Leone, Gambia etc who produce rice in abundant quantity in the countries while simultaneously banning the importation of rice from the Lagos ports.

Look at Jonathan and his cronies like Dokubo and Tompolo stealing Nigeria's money and siphoning it to Equitorial guinea, Ghana etc where they build refineries, Universities and companies to employ their relatives in those countries.

Nonsense!!¡!
What do you know. The present Nigerian borders were drawn by the French. borderless west Africa is the way forward.

Guy let's talk reality please, if you can't speak French can you work in Togo, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Morocco, Algeria Ivory Coast etc?
Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Liberia and Gambia are all English speaking. Official language was changed in Rwanda to English. Many of my Kenyan friends in Europe eventually went back to Kenya and all found lucrative jobs. 1 ghana cedis is N50..... this is a great country next door. Cfa franc has similar value to naira.

For vacation so many spots in Nigeria, dar el Salam (Tanzania) and Morocco etc...

My point is many times the good we seek is in our backyard but we don't know.

And I hv to reiterate I'm not trying to persuade ppl from going to America.... I'm just saying we should also give African destinations consideration.

Finally French is easy to learn.
