Exactly my thought. Even if it is First In First Out ,the first tranche of my order was filled in the morning around 11am which means i am already on top of the queue to be served at that price.
The funniest thing there was no such order in the bidding. In fact the total bids of diamond all prices included did reach 2m through out.

I placed an order of 500 units of Diamond bank @ N1.35 around 10:21 and the order was only partially filled at close of market.
But i noticed close to 3 million units were sold at 14:28 at my bidding price.
Please can someone in the house explain to me why my order was not filled?

The stock, to me, na baba for other growth stocks including the elephant...Even the almighty Nestle which i placed so much hope in for exponential capital appreciation has been fumbling like my darling Arsenal...Frankly, i am impressed with Tiger performance so far. When I wanted to invest in the coy back then, she discouraged me that its a loss making coy. However, as a result of my inherent tenacity and financial skills coupled with the comfort of the astute businessman-Dangote taking over i went ahead to get very good units for myself..Now i can say my decision is paying off if not paid off...

I can't believe that GTB would loose from Friday's closed price, after declaring dividend this morning...hmmmh

2008 when there was a problem.that's 8 years ago.

it's 0.38k after tax so a 1000 unit will see N387. and like that depending on your holding.
but its unusual not to see rally with such yield(dividend yield and earning yield) and good result

1) Buy you a good stock and you can go to sleep regardless of market direction

I bought based on this rough analysis:

Share outstanding is 5B

Tigerbrands transferred 3.285B (65.7%) to Aliko.

"Subject to regulatory approvals, DIL will provide TBCG with an immediate cash injection of N10 billion. In return, Tiger Brands will
divest its 65.7% shareholding in TBCG to DIL for a nominal consideration and write off its shareholder loans to TBCG. In addition,
Tiger Brands will assume and settle outstanding debt guaranteed on behalf of TBCG."

This roughly implies that Aliko paid ~N3.04/ share (10B/3.285B).

I bought at N1.16, which is about 62% discount to Aliko's price.

Precedents have shown that Aliko is a very shrewd business man, I am willing to hold with him ...

The total dividend for the year 2015 is going to be 60k( 17k interim and 43k final). If you look at the cash flow, the total dividend paid for the year was 1,040,000( 340m interim and 700m final last year)

If you look at the dividend paid last year, 700m against 2b units of shares in issue. This translates to 35k. I guess the figure must have been taken against the N1b. There are errors in audited accounts if you take your time to look at it page by page.
