Ihostafrica will hold you to ransome, mess u up, spoil your name and render your business useless! Be warned! They've swallowed my money several times and didn't render required service. But 1 thing is, whenver your hosting is about expiring, they'll bombard you with emails ehn.

2 of websites hosted with them were hacked! 1html5 and the other, a wordpress site!

And yes, talking abt moving your domain/hosting, you'll have to wait another 30something days! And if u call them, they wouldn't answer and if they manage to, the person will be in a noisy party environment.

That's just a tip of my horrible experiences with them! Run away as fast as u can!

Fellow nairalanders. As a staff of the said nscdc, I'd like to advise u all not to let anyone scam u! Nscdc doesn't sell forms and no one would tell u to pay in to any bank account. A lot of people have lost money, some had been slept with, etc but none guarantee ur employment!

Infact, until the promotion of we insiders are done, nothing like recruitment or replacement will not likely, take place.

And if u'll notice, the recruitment was done every 2 years. I got in 2010. Replacements exercise took place 2012. So, if any thing was to come up, it would have been this year (2014) but so far, nothing of that sort took place.

So, keep ur money and use to eat! Don't lose ur virginity/potato because u want to enter civil defense o! A word is enough for the wise!

1. D colour scheme is not it and unless its for gay, please change it

2. The domain name and the web content(s) are conflicting. When I saw the name wicmedia.com, I thought its a media company etc but behold and alas, its a smf forum!

3. Have a target (niche) market. If u must target african countries then u might as well do d following:

A. Change d name to sometin more appealing like africaland or afrogist, etc (op, u go pay me o!)

B. Focus on issues people would love to discuss about and face that. That's a sure way to get the right traffic

U had better build ur web using a responsive layout. Then get ajax/javascript frame work libraries that are prebuilt. U simply do some code/css linking and u're up and running.

If u attempt to do everything "from scratch", my friend, u go tay!

Get etisalat huawei e303 modem. Unlock it and buy mtn night plan (3gb for 9t plan + 1.5gb that can be used 247).

The modem is about 4k at etisalat office. The mtn night plan is 2k5.

I'm using it to update my ipad2 ios. The network u use largely depends on the strength of the signal in ur area.
