Politics › Re: INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu Wearing An APC Campaign Cap With Broom Design by bigtt76(f): 4:53pm On Feb 10, 2019
Until the dates are ascertained, no one should come and start blasting the INEC chairman for all we may know he wore that cap before the APC campaigns began. We like reading meanings into trivial things. We all think Prof Yakubu is such a dunce to be seen in partisanship with ruling party and destroy his hard earned image? Haba

lahizak:
The point is that, as a person in charge of election, u should never ever wear sometin that might make people tink u favour a party. U must not only be unbiased but also appear unbiased. For goodness sake he is wearing the same cap, not even a similar one or similar design, same cap. The only way it make sense is if he had wore the cap before APC adopt it 4 dere party which seems highly unlikely

What if the rigging clearly favoured PDP ...would you still complain the elections were rigged? We should not start crying foul when there's nothing to cry about.

Asshurbanipali:
US, UK and EU, shall prepare to take out Buhari should crisis erupt because of carelessness and partisanship of INEC.

INEC dare not rig this election in favour of APC or this country turn up-side-down
Politics › Re: INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu Wearing An APC Campaign Cap With Broom Design by bigtt76(f): 4:36pm On Feb 10, 2019
So if the president is wearing hinges pant and singlet ....INEC chairman should not wear the same? Can we get the date of the chairman's appearance in the cap with the date of Buhari and co's appearance picture? Were the appearance and photographs taken same period?

What if the APC team saw the INEC's chairman's cap and decided to adopt it?

We are getting too petty on these accusations shaaaaa ....I won't be surprised if the Internet is shutdown prior to this election cos it may help trigger unnecessary killings around the country due to mis-information. Lets use sense to understand these things before we start posting!

Who else thinks Buhari will allow a free and fair election.

Nobody should give a f@ck what or who the next person is voting on or for! When you go for Visa interviews, you're assessed based on your merit and not that of the applicant before you. That's how that year so called celebrities foisted on us that leader and when it was time to vote, they all traveled out. Don't let your daddy or mummy or even your Daddy GO or Imam impose on you their choice ....stay woke Nigerians!

May be it was the bridged version by either Mall for Africa, Paga Mall or Quickteller Mall ...did you have to install a plugin on your web browser before carrying out the transaction?

LordReed:
It was through an ecommerce site run by Digital River International. I was surprised they accepted it though.
Business › Re: Difference Between Mastercard, Verve And Visa? by bigtt76(f): 3:34pm On Feb 07, 2019
That is Verve International spending money to subsidize some services and purchases in order to gain acceptance

nelsonmate:
Verve card is a domestic card brand which works on all channels including ATM, POS, Web and Mobile.

I have Verve cards issued by some banks (FCMB, Sterling, and Access) and they work perfectly on all channels here in Nigeria and some other countries such as Kenya, Gambia, Uganda, Ghana, etal.

Have gotten free 5 litres @ Oando by using my Verve card, free drinks and pop corns in cinemas, 30% discount off Etihad for flights and other discounts shopping online.

If you know, you know.

We are not saying in its entirety, Verve cards are not accepted on International sites but rather its limited to few. I would be glad to know which International site accepts this though

LordReed:
Not quite accurate, I have made international purchases with a Verve card.
Business › Re: Difference Between Mastercard, Verve And Visa? by bigtt76(f): 2:25pm On Feb 07, 2019
Not wrong dear... If you noticed, I did not specify denomination. Once it's dollar denominated, the bank's don't restrict its use except its Naira denominated thats when the banks can chose to restrict its use. They can however restrict the use of the dollar denominated cards on some websites though but rarely do they go that lemght. cheesy

SenatorAiyzik:
Wrong! You are only allowed to use them shop abroad or on international websites if your bank allows/enables e-Forex transactions. Not all banks allow it. Only a few banks do

Politics › Re: Benue Is Next In Line For Oil Drilling- Buhari by bigtt76(f): 6:56am On Feb 07, 2019
Ok

GoodGovernance:
The next step, according to president Buhari, is that NNPC will soon commence drilling for oil and gas in the Benue Trough, following the commencement of drilling in the Kolmani River area, located within Bauchi and Gombe States.

He made the announcement Wednesday while addressing traditional rulers at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Makurdi, Benue State and recalled that as Minister of Petroleum in the 70s, he had seen “very interesting seismic surveys” that promised oil and gas from the Chad Basin through the Benue Trough down to the Delta region.

He said for mostly commercial reasons, investment was directed to the Niger Delta given the promise of quicker results. He narrated past efforts by him as Military Head of State to diversify the country’s sources of oil to strengthen its unity, promising that his administration will intensify efforts in this direction.

President Buhari welcomed the observation by the Tor Tiv, His Royal Majesty, Professor James Ayatse, that peace had been restored to Benue State following the spike, sometimes back in farmers and herders’ clashes as well as the fact the President had so far conducted a decent and a peaceful campaign.

The President promised to look at requests for more roads, bridges and tertiary institutions made by the royal father.

Earlier, the Tor Tiv had expressed appreciation to President Buhari, “for the way and manner you have conducted peaceful campaign, no riots, no violence, setting good example. We had a challenging time in 2016. Thanks for your intervention, for accepting our appeal to step up security. Operation Whirl Strike has succeeded in chasing away violent herders.”

He also called for a closer look at the border to stop “criminals and bandits” from crossing into Nigeria.

The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom in his remarks, called for free and fair elections, urging all contestants to abide by the outcome.

He told the President that, “We believe you are a man of integrity and you keep your words. I will like to believe that you will not do anything to truncate our democracy.”

Before I read the Content Of this Post I already know Electric Power Supply will be one Of the Major Problems of these telecom s industries.

But I wonder how all there in -house engineers respectively fails to know that each erected mast can supply all the Electrical Energy Needed by all the transmitters hooked to it.

The height of the Mast is Enough to Tap into the Atmospheric Static Electricity using Copper Pipe (sold here in Ibadan at Oke-Padre by my smart Igbo brothers) and some other cheaply available components.

They Do not need any of those useless MIKANO GENS!!!

THERE ARE EVEN OTHER MORE WAYS TO MAKE A SELF-POWERED 20MEGAWATTS plus Motionless 240VAC Generator which this Telecom Industries and Nigeria at Large needs.

Make high a 12V/400,000VAC Resonant High Frequency(300khz and above) inverter and Dam the High Voltage with 100,000 pieces of 400V 100uf electrolytic DC Capacitors connected in series but discharged in Parallel using High Voltage High Frequency Diodes like HER208 which you can buy on aliexpress dot com cheaply.

Then get a TVS device like Varistor or TVS Diodes to suppress the High Voltage on the caps to 240VDC. And make a Pure Wine Wave High Power Transformer equipped or Transformerless H-Bridge Inverter to convert the 240VDC to 240VAC.

The Secret is to cancel Lenz first or Negate First Law of Thermodynamics by Padding your High Voltage High Frequency Generator with a Calculated Resonant Capacitor. Now to calculate that I can not reveal here but it is acutely simple to do. Once you negate Lenz, the Load on the Secondary winding of the Transformer will NO MORE reflect in the primary!
