The self-con is 150k a year but you have to sought some things out with agent sha oo. From my side you can get V.I direct if you wake up early and on the road by 6:am or you take a keke to estate and enter VI direct instead of wasting some minutes waiting for BRT. I stay around Biola here in Alapere. I just got a new job and i'm to be posted to Aba thats the reason am not retaining the room. |

I think from just after Ilaje settlement town so those going further would climb and by-pass those going to Ajah-Badore etc BTW.... you've aged o! 90's Dats 26 years or thereabout years ago AndroBlaze: Yeah 15 mins to Sangotedo was slightly stretching it but that was the norm to Ajah and enviorns in the 90's when their were less people and more importantly less roundabouts. (not to mention toll gates)......you'd simply cut across to the other side of the road to where ever you wanted to get to.
Where's the flyover being built ?? And I hope it won't be another phantom project like the coastal road. |

15 minutes? Shocking but not surprised. On a good day (well from 5am daily) it's roughly 30-45 minutes to Lekki Roundabout Well a new fly over is being built who knows it might be back to those days again.... maybe this time 20 minutes but then lots of people would start flooding that area from Mainland and its back to status quo AndroBlaze: I didn't argue with your 5am assertion- I feel its just overkill as I do believe in a healthy work life and real life balance.
Anyway I am one of those people who gets really angry when I think about the current situation in Lekki- probably because I remember the days of leaving VI and getting to Sangotedo in an average of 15 minutes- and that was at normal speed!!
It angers me the little attention that has been payed to that place by the State and FG while they have fully 100% exploited the people who are in my opinion unfortunate to call that place home. |

I know but if you look closely I say 5am on the dot! I've done this several times and to think that I stayed even further down from Chevron, VGC to be precise Sangotedo area. So no fears about it. I would prefer leaving 5am from this area to leaving Mainland at same time. AndroBlaze: Hmmm not sure this is good advice.
Sometimes I would stay with my family in Lekki (Chevron side which is far closer to VI than Ajah) and I was always surprised that I would end up at work late everytime- compared to leaving from the mainland.
The truth is that if you get caught up in Lekki's mad rush hour (leaving the house at 6.15 -6.30) you won't make it at 8 am while on the other hand I could leave Ojota at that time and still make it to VI before 8am.
Lekki's rush hour is unforgiving while mainland traffic is very predictable and steady.
To cut the long story short, mainland is far more advisable and this comes from an Eti Osa son to the core. |
Family › Re: Nigerian Woman Gives Birth To Triplets In The U.S After Six Years Of Waiting by bigtt76(f): 1:23pm On Feb 13, 2016 |
God bless them all. I look forward to mine in Jesus Name. Amen 360frolic: Temitope Alao gave birth to 3-pound triplets at Woodhull Hospital, Brooklyn, New York on Thursday morning, February 11, about eight months into her pregnancy.
The 34yr old new mother who has been trying to conceive for 6 years welcomed a girl, Temiloluwa, and two boys, Oluwafikayomi and Ifeoluwa (baby Ifeoluwa is the only one pictured. They were born prematurely) In the delivery room was Afolake Alao, 58, a longtime registered nurse at Woodhull Medical Center and the children's grandmother. Afolake Alao said she insisted that her daughter-in-law, who had been trying to conceive for six years, come to the United States for the delivery.
"I knew she would get good care here," she told reporters during a press availability at the hospital Friday.
Her journey to New York involved a 13-hour flight with a layover in Paris. Temitope Alao made the trip with her own mother, Adejoke Ogunrinde, on Jan. 21.
"I’m so happy," said Temitope Alao, the beaming but groggy new mom. She said she’s not intimidated by the thought of caring for three infants at once. "I’ll manage,” she said, adding she was “very active” during her pregnancy. The only thing left to do for the family is to introduce the babies to their dad for the first time. Temitope’s husband is still Nigeria. "We are trying to get him here to see the babies," she said.
The family will return to Nigeria when the babies are old enough to travel, they said. Temiloluwa, the girl’s name, means "God belongs to me." The boys names stand for “God has increased my joy” and "God’s love."

Very true. Now she's lost her privacy and soon she will be too engaged for the home front resulting in the husband bringing home other agbo sellers and banging dem in her absence. Of course the husband would start feeling isolated, no more money to play Baba Ijebu or drink paraga with his homies. Hmmmmm next thing is the man beating the wife and may end up resulting in an unresolved murder case. .... Wake up phew! May God protect Olajumoke. Amen |

E yaaaa. You need to continue applying to the oil companies but bear in mind that most of these companies are scared of the fact that with your first class you're likely to jilt them and go on scholarship for further studies. I'm even wondering sef ....what have you not applied for foreign scholarships like Chevening or DFID and even some foreign universities all who are looking for first class graduates to enroll. Don't give up tho. Samtobh: Petrochemistry |

What rubbish! Are we not paying for data from the networks? How we choose to use our data bundle is our business. If they like they should go ahead and sanction all social media and they will watch in surprise how all the telecoms will come crashing down.
I can't spend 1k on voice calls BUT I will gladly spend 3k on data just because of Social networks ....NCC should find a way of getting their share of the booty from the telecoms through data sales. #IdiotPeople |

Sorry but what did you study? Samtobh: Nice write-up OP. Well, your assertion may not be so true about the class of degree discrimination. I've applied to more than 500 jobs online with a CV always restructured, well-furnished and updated. Ye, no single invite.I've even veered off my field into some areas I consider can boost one's chances but dear, the same issue keep coming up. To add up, I have a diploma in computer engineering, learnt HTML/JavaScript/CSS programming, HPLC/GC-MS/AAS analytical methods, and possess a first class degree. Feb.14th will make it 2 years I did my POP,still in my parent's House. So, my dear, God blessed you at the appointed time. |
