Roland17: @Birdman has refused to officially acknowledge Westbrook on this thread, he avoids the questions like a plague. Na him way!!!!
boss, I answered you on westbrook nau . Im starting to to warm up to him somehow somehow. I cant stand the pictures of him in red yet...izz like optical illusion
Roland17: Do you even know the ironic thing about the whole thing that happened in OKC? The exemplary level of maturity Brodie exhibited throughout the show by PG13. He remained calm and quiet and the decision to trade him was mutually agreed upon by him and OKC. When it was clear he was going to the Rockets, he wrote a heartfelt message to the fans. That is what I call a class act.
SmooshCHN: And then we have one dude with max contract called Andrew Wiggins who has taken pride in his consistency. Dude has managed to remain the same since he was drafted. And then there is Giannis improving every year.
AD...not only is he a better shooter, he reads the game better. Scary thing about Giannis is he has a long way to go, but already won MVP just on raw talent.
donlittle25: You weren’t on Nland for months and the moment you came back, you talked about my personal life which shows while you weren’t here, you were keeping yourself up to date with my life on social media.
is there a way to block someone on nairaland? it is very irritating to visit this thread and see paragraphs of crap posted page after page after fn page by the same troll.
If a mad man is talking to you, must you answer back? which kin ogbanje bs is dis
Roland17: Since Brodie joined the Rockets, are you leaving the Rockets?
nah, Im just going to have to wait this out....as in hold my nose for 2 or 3 years. Im not sure how to watch the games though.. I usually am not a hater but something about WB rubs me the wrong way.
aliondo: Bro, ,these are hard times for OKC but I'm here sha as we rebuild. ..If I wanted to leave, I should have followed K.D when we went to the Warriors...
u better leave now. okc thunder can never prosper again . better they go back to seattle.
A40: Hahahaha. Why are you so mad?? You should be jumping for joy that you won't be paying CP3 $45m at 37. Y'all got off easy for that stupid move of paying CP3 that much money
CP3 is overvalued, but he has some value. Westbrook is a black hole that devours any dream of playoff success. Our window is officially closed. Oh! our enemies gave located our village
SmooshCHN: And he can tell the Lakers to go fúck themselves and their cap space if he wants to. Except if he, just like me, thinks there's nothing wrong with LeBron recruiting all stars as he did to get his rings.
yessir. the mad rush to predict what kawhi will do has been annoying...many solid sports commentators have exposed themselves as empty barrels during this disgraceful debacle
etidy: At this junction I think kawhi is just being a sissy. Like dude you had the whole os the last 2-3 weeks after winning the title to think about this. By now you know all about what the clippers are about because they have been courting you from day 1 and all about Toronto. I guess the only thing he may have not been clear abt is the arrival of Davis in La.
Like due, come on! Make up ur mind
lol. 2 weeks is a lot. the fact that you as a fan cannot wait is not Kawhi's problem. doesnt make him a sissy...you just have unreasonable expectations
SmooshCHN: So why are you and the media analyst still blaming the Warriors?
Because an insider has confirmed warriors staff do underplay diagnosis? Why are you and Eruditor so defensive? You ought to be on the side of players. And its not just warriors...Kawhi had issues with the Spurs. Just admit...it wont kee u...
Roland17: Here is is the full video of the interview if you care to watch. You can skip to 16:15 to hear Iggy's take on KD's injury and the reference he made to his injury last year and how it was underplayed.
@ Eruditor I watched the whole thing. Look he is still a warrior, so he cant come out and be directly abusing the training staff he will be working with next season. But he was specific...someone on the team said he had a bone bruise when what he had was a fracture. He said he had to fight the team on this. There is no way to spin it. He mentioned this when asked about Durant.
In other news, we know part of the reason Mark Jackson was let go. I am not too surprised, he was very vocal about his faith in a hostile environment. I always wondered if someone would challenge him.
Eruditor: I hope you actually watched the interview and not read excerpts off a dumb article? Some of us watched the interview. I would wait for you to watch it and then come back and give your opinion on what he actually said then I can help clear grey areas that you may not have understood.
Roland17: Below are excerpts from Andre Iguodala's recent interview and this buttresses my point about the dangerous level of desperation the Warriors were showing this postseason.
"Last year, it happened to me. I missed last three games of the Houston series. It goes to Game 7. We barely get out of that series. And now they’re looking at me like, “When are you coming back?” And I had a fractured leg. But it’s being put out there like, “You’ve got a bone bruise.” I’m like, “Nah, it’s fractured.” So, I’m fighting with the team. I’m fighting with people. I’m fighting with the media. And then my teammates ask me every day, “How you feeling? How you feeling?” So, with K, he’s getting it from everywhere, too. What do they always say in sports? “Oh, he’s a tough guy. He plays through injuries.” You’re validated as an athlete if you win a championship or how tough you were. If you sit out, it’s like, “Ah, he’s not tough.”
congrats to Giannis. very well deserved. hopefully this is a message to the stat padders...its about the team first. even though the said stat padder helped me win fantasy this year
When I kept saying Morey and his mathematics lack common human sense, its like i just hate him. I dont think he understands the human relationship aspect of bball. Hardens wings should have been clipped a long time ago.
A40: Harden's issue I feel is that CP3 just doesn't have the cache to call him out based on the load Harden is carrying on that team. They better sort it out though. This season is the window they have been waiting for
i never thought of it like that, but it does make sense. But if CP3 cannot talk sense to him, who can? CP3's floor general skills have never been questioned in the NBA.
I fear Harden is actually delusional though...he was enjoying last season's scoring streak too much for my liking. I think we have a prima donna on our hands especially if Dantoni gets fired too.
ElDeeVee: Rockets roster as is, is not capable of winning the championship and their owner knows this. I think they can find a suitable trade for a player like Capela or even CP3 and try to reconstruct the roster to challenge the Lakers for the NBA finals.
