Wasn't expecting the Portland vs Nuggets series to be such a tight defensive affair.

Every series tied at 1 bar the Rockets vs Warriors series. This is more like it
On denver side you have the white Tim Duncan tongue complete with point guard handles. Milsap is looking like the Milsap from Jazz days. Murray and Harris are making sweet pick and rolls with Jokic. Denver looks like the more dangerous playoff team.

Buuuut, like play like play McCollum and Lillard have been together like 5 years now? For two guards with similar skills, they play in sync. This by itself is an x factor. They have enough explosive offense to test any defense in the league. Enough to overcome 40+pts from the Joker even.

Denver should win this series, but this could go to game 7.

And Rockets need to step up. I no wan hear excuse abeg...ayam tired of the whining. Wear eye protector if need be, mr mvp angry

i am not in support of ref blaming. That last blown call was one of many in the game. I didnt like the no call but I dislike just as much this Rockets thing where we keeping talking about refs. This is weakness. It needs to stop. Play better next time

If the Rockets were up 3, end of game, and Durant or Curry took the same shot Harden took to to end the game.... Do you think they get the call or not, if fouled the way Harden was?

Yall already know the answer undecided stop eeet pls

Embiid is cut from a different cloth methinks. He'll bounce back.
Dude talks too much. Thats why he catches so much hate. I like him and I think he will bounce back like you said. But bounce back and win game is not the same thing.

Jokic is such a rebounding beast. Spurs have started really terribly.

DeFrozen 0/5 so far
Spurs looked like they just wanted to weather the initial storm. But Denver came out confident from start to finish. I was expecting game 7 jitters from Denver....for where. Jokic is a beast!

I don’t think we will know the entirety of the Kawhi story with the Spurs because Kawhi has remained silent for the most part and Pop has done same. I feel like there are some unknowns that may come out when all is said and done. But you are right, his family made the situation more difficult than it should have been.
Honestly this is the only sane position to take on this matter. Time will tell the story. Both sides have been wise and really havent said much to their ceedit. Except for all the spectators like Ginobili giving opinions.

Wow. This is terrible news

May he RIP
If you achieve all this man has and influenced so many people, and then die of natural causes at a ripe old age, my guy this is not terrible news. Sad, yeah. Not terrible though.
Maybe Ive seen too many passings recently and it has altered how I see it.

For sure, he will be missed, especially by Celtic nation. RIP sad

dude you said it oo. I wish dey did not mess up in game 5 cause, it is harder to win in Denver. if we play like we did today in Denver with guys hitting shots, denver is gone. grin
Spurs have the experience, this will be huge in a tension filled game 7. Denver has a lot of underachievers though, namely milsap and barton imo. Those guys are due a breakout game

Now the Warriors have to play an extra game that was avoidable.
to be honest, i dont think any team could have stopped clippers tonight. Clippers energy level was unreal...nothing could dampen it. Not KDs shots, not the hostile crowd.

I expect clippers to return to normal next game

Paul George really said that game-winning, series closing shot was a bad shot

Per Second Spectrum, Lillard is 8-of-12 from 30-plus feet this postseason, compared to 6-of-38 for everyone else.

He's right that it's a bad shot for anyone else but not the guy with the ball at the time
This is what I was trying to say when I compared Lillards accuracy to Curry. He is not the best lights out shooter, but boy, he is dangerously consistent on those parking lot 3s.

All the curry lovers that were attacking me lipsrsealed eruditor pointguardusa see what i mean?

Now that dust is settled and the next round beckons on us, I have one request for the NBA through its referees for the Celtics v Bucks series.

I understand there is an intentional push by the league to have Giannis become the face of the league and to denounce the idea that small market teams can not cope in the current league.

I am not one to complain about officiating but it is imperative I raise this concern considering the antecedents going into the series. Please and please, officiate the game respectfully and fairly. Appropriate fouls fairly and accordingly without bias because one player is in the run in for the MVP or the face of the league.
grin game never start bros. celtic nation already having nigerian nightmares!

I know Russ is a ball hog but Oladipo had his chances sometimes and didn't take it...Russ alone cannot be blamed..
Its all about rhythm. A good PG feeds into your rhythm - Russ wants to play PG and SG and rebounder (lol), and he disrupts other roles. For example, he steals rebounds that should belong to the center. In the same token, he took away clutch shots from Durant in those close playoff games. Its not hard to see how he forces an Oladipo to take a subservient role - Oladipo is explosive, a slasher even - if you give him the ball a split second late, defense is set already, negating his strengths.

Russ is not a a good PG, simple. Its not just about racking assists...he needs to sit down this offseason and study Curry, CP3, Jason Kidd, Stockton. Instead of shouting like a mad man everytime he makes a 3 pointer.

Man, I feel so pathetic for Blake. He has a very shitty supporting cast in that team. And worst of all, the team haven't learnt to play around him. How the fvck does Reggie Jackson take five more shots than him in an elimination game??!! Look as the name...Reggie Jackson, who the fvck is Reggie Jackson?
it is not by force my guy. If you are absent in crunch times, how can people learn to depend on you in crunch time? Always injured when needed the most. kilode?

I dont get it. Much as loyalty to a team is admirable. I dont see the fans showing that level of contempt to the club management when they trade players anyhow. eg look at the Isiah Thomas and Celtics oncident.

I disagree, if you watched the 1st quarter and 2nd, you would see that Blake was successful at keeping Giannis away from the rim. He was scoreless in the 1st Q and less than 10 in the 2nd and finished the game with 14 points. Gianis struggled when Blake was his primary defender as he matched him pound for pound. The Bucks will make some adjustments as they look to close out early. One of the disparity in this series is the bench and that is what gave the Bucks the W tonight. Gianis was not good tonight.
I didnt watch the game. I will watch the next, if only to see if Blake can repeat the performance. Even the mosquito of LA gave Durant headache for one game grin

Roland17:
A healthy Blake Griffin equalizes or should I say, reduces the potency of Gianis, however, even with parity, the depth of the Bucks bench gives them all the edge against the Pistons.
Blake doesnt do much to reduce Giannis offensive potency. But u right, bucks are deep, in a lowkey sort of way
