I'm sorry it is hard to see the rust and lack of rhythm every pseudo analyst wants to talk about when the game is being stopped by ticky tacky fouls at every point in time for the more physical team. but you do this EVERY loss. Every one |

Eruditor: I won't be too worried though. Except the ref ball is glaring again, we should take game 2. When the lead was down to 4 in the 7th min of the 4th Q, Draymond's layup should have been a goal tend but they called it a block. Then in quick succession they gave Curry 2 fouls, gave Klay 1, gave him a tech and put us in the bonus. Siakam then shuffled to pass the ball to the corner for D Green who hit that 3 and basically sealed the game. have you noticed that every time you lose in this playoffs, you blame the refs. warriors fans, una try o |

Did he think Chris Paul in his 14th season in the league who had missed 20 games each of the last two seasons before this would suddenly stumble on the fountain of youth? prolly the same reason gms are chasing ty lue like he is phil jackson or something. too much data can actually hide real information |

A40: Lmaooo can they get a deal with the Lakers? This is why I said Daryl Morey is grossly overrated
I'm thinking that apart from them, the Bulls, Heat and maybe Charlotte if they can't pay Walker (which would be stupid if Chris Paul was their alternative) I don't know who else would be willing to take his contract
If I were a GM for any of those teams I'm demanding 3 first rounders at least for that millstone of a salary because CP3 will drastically get worse as most players in their mid-30's get. They fell for the if CP3 was healthy narrative forgetting this ninja is never healthy Bros it happens to the best. An excellent night of clubbing and debauchery! Then you wake up the next morning and SEE what you brought home last night. Then you jump in the shower, praying with bitter tears and hoping to scrub away the memory. Morey will bouce back |

CP3 don't give a fúck. He got his bag. They're royally fúcked.
Lakers fan are dreaming about the Harden + LeBron combo. Harden aint going nowhere unfortunately . Which is unfortunate, because he is the cause of all this crap. ALL the defensive coaches have been fired. The only thing that saved Dantoni is one year left on contract. Even then, he is not that safe because Houston has been talking to Ty Lue! What pains me about this whole thing is the one guy who stubbornly refused to change may be the only guy left. Which means we dribble our way out of the playoffs again next year |

KarnThornheart: It'll be a miracle if the Lakers get a free agent this year. Things were already gloomy, now ESPN and magic keep adding more fuel to the fire like seriously, the Warriors and raptors are playing in the finals. Leave the Lakers alone! CP3 is probably out in Houston. After the game 6 loss, he let Harden know how he felt about that dribble dribble crap that has sent us home the last 4 years. Is LA possible? Where are the contract lawyers |

Roland17: @Birdman, do you see why I am against Giannis walking the ball up? Reggie Miller just collaborated my thoughts with that play. It was still their best option unfortunately, given the supporting cast. Unlike Rockets where we have a HOF PG, Bucks backcourt was exposed by a more experienced team. As you saw, the team was impotent without Giannis as the initial decision maker. Giannis has a lot to work on this offseason. And the Bucks need a better PG than Hill. Btw this loss was more painful to me than the Rockets loss. At the same time, it feels good to see some kawhi vindication. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 10:54am On May 24, 2019 |
Roland17: Na na na!! Allowing your primary scorer bring the ball up is more effective when the player is flexible in offense. I mean, the player has a lot of tricks in his bags but that is not the case with Giannis throughout this series. The player can dribble to create space, take high % jumpers, good perimeter shooting and importantly control the pace and tempo of the game in that area of the court. The Raptors have basically improved on what the Celtics did in game one against them. Giannis has only one move and once the wall is formed with players who have length and can move their feet he is lost or commits an offensive foul.
In comparison to walking the ball up to a wall, the low post for a player with such power attracts the double team deep under the rim which is to Giannis advantage because the kick out will be more open and if he chooses to go up he would be closer to the rim. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying walking the ball is not an option no, but in this series it has not worked and the refs are not buying his attempts to sell the foul.
Also, when he walks the ball, it clogs and affects the spacing of the guards. Middleton will be exceptional if he walked the ball. It worked in the previous series but it is obvious this is not an option because of the length of the Raptors. well, lets see what adjustments Bucks make for next game. should be interesting |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 4:02am On May 24, 2019 |
Roland17: Again, I don’t understand why players/ coaches fail to make very simple obvious adjustments. Why force a style when it has been nullified throughout the series? Just because it worked against the Celtics does not mean it would work against other teams. Rather than walking the ball up in an attempt to fight through the wall, why not have someone walk the ball so Gianis can establish on the low post which is a higher percentage shot for his game? It is less stressful and if the double comes, you have a cleaner lockout for a 3 or to re-establish the low post. That would be predictable and easy to stop..you would need the combo of exceptional passing skills and low post moves for a big man to make this a go to option. Instead, allowing your primary scoring option to bring up the ball makes it harder for the defense to cheat and double team. If you cheat and double Giannis at the top of the key, it is much easier for him to pass the ball (than in the post), and much harder for the cheating defense to get back to the open man. So you almost have to guard Giannis one on one. This fits the skillset of todays combo guards/forwards, who can handle the ball well and have decent jupmpshots. Another example would be Harden. At least thats what it looks like to me. |

smoosh20: I guess the Warriors need to start losing every game and series to make the NBA interesting to get the ratings up since teams have refused to step up.
Bunch of confused fans who want equality of outcome are the ones mad keep shouting about how the warriors made the NBA so boring like it's their fault teams like OKC, Utah, etc keep getting swept in the playoffs. Fans need to understand that other teams just need to step up. I think if GS wasnt playing, ratings would be even worse. Hard core bball fans love parity. We love seeing Bucks and Raptors in the ECF instead of the usual. Casual fans are moved by names instead..Curry, Lebron, Durant etc If these guys arent playing, they aint watching. |

Word on the street is the playoffs ratings are down this year. which is strange to me cuz we have had some of the most exciting bball back to back to back this year. Is it because Lebron is not playing or peoples just tired of GS steamrolling to another 'ship. I know I avoided GS Portland series. Who wants to see accident in slow motion |

darkelf: When this becomes a hot topic in the league in future, you'll remember my post.
ok. i mean, I used to see expanded jawlines as a sign of steroid use. But what I have seen over the years is many athletes already have high testosterone levels. They spend one in summer in the gym and they look roided out. Kobe, Wade, Tmac all bulked up at one point in their career. It lasts half a season though, because you get injured easier. Imagine Giannis bulking up im not sure you can look at an nba player and determine if he is roiding or not. Most of them lose muscle mass during the season from running on the court, so they are underweight already. but we shall see... |

ipledge10: Warriors winning this Buck team without KD. The only reason I want KD back is for his legacy. If Warriors win Bucks without KD, His two championship won’t have much worth. that legacy is in tatters already. They beat Houston like a drum at home without him. All the struggles they had this season are gone. Apparently the warriors are deadlier without iso ball. Durant didnt win 2 championships for GS. He helped, that's it. Im not one of those guys who hates on players. Its just fact. Durant needs to leave and prove himself somewhere else, if he is chasing legacy. If its just rings, then stay. Nothing wrong with that. Nobody remembers Tmac as deadly as he was because no ring. |
