I won't be too worried though. Except the ref ball is glaring again, we should take game 2. When the lead was down to 4 in the 7th min of the 4th Q, Draymond's layup should have been a goal tend but they called it a block. Then in quick succession they gave Curry 2 fouls, gave Klay 1, gave him a tech and put us in the bonus. Siakam then shuffled to pass the ball to the corner for D Green who hit that 3 and basically sealed the game.

If I were a GM for any of those teams I'm demanding 3 first rounders at least for that millstone of a salary because CP3 will drastically get worse as most players in their mid-30's get. They fell for the if CP3 was healthy narrative forgetting this ninja is never healthy

@Birdman, do you see why I am against Giannis walking the ball up? Reggie Miller just collaborated my thoughts with that play.

Na na na!! Allowing your primary scorer bring the ball up is more effective when the player is flexible in offense. I mean, the player has a lot of tricks in his bags but that is not the case with Giannis throughout this series. The player can dribble to create space, take high % jumpers, good perimeter shooting and importantly control the pace and tempo of the game in that area of the court. The Raptors have basically improved on what the Celtics did in game one against them. Giannis has only one move and once the wall is formed with players who have length and can move their feet he is lost or commits an offensive foul.

In comparison to walking the ball up to a wall, the low post for a player with such power attracts the double team deep under the rim which is to Giannis advantage because the kick out will be more open and if he chooses to go up he would be closer to the rim. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying walking the ball is not an option no, but in this series it has not worked and the refs are not buying his attempts to sell the foul.

Also, when he walks the ball, it clogs and affects the spacing of the guards. Middleton will be exceptional if he walked the ball. It worked in the previous series but it is obvious this is not an option because of the length of the Raptors.

Again, I don’t understand why players/ coaches fail to make very simple obvious adjustments. Why force a style when it has been nullified throughout the series? Just because it worked against the Celtics does not mean it would work against other teams.
Rather than walking the ball up in an attempt to fight through the wall, why not have someone walk the ball so Gianis can establish on the low post which is a higher percentage shot for his game? It is less stressful and if the double comes, you have a cleaner lockout for a 3 or to re-establish the low post.

Before this season every GM and most sport writers would have picked KAT ahead of Jokic to build around. Now I don't think even one will pick KAT ahead of the joker

I guess the Warriors need to start losing every game and series to make the NBA interesting to get the ratings up since teams have refused to step up.

Bunch of confused fans who want equality of outcome are the ones mad keep shouting about how the warriors made the NBA so boring like it's their fault teams like OKC, Utah, etc keep getting swept in the playoffs. Fans need to understand that other teams just need to step up.
