FamilyRe: I Caught My Husband Chatting With A Lady On Facebook & WhatsApp & Confronted Him by Bishop(m): 11:48pm On Aug 02, 2017
tomi87014:
Help, Trouble In My Marriage

Hello Nairalanders.

I have been married for a year and half. I thought hubby and i have been living happily and i would've swore he was faithful. A few days ago i saw that a random lady messaged him on Facebook and they got talking. I was shocked at first to see that he was chatting her up. Fast forward to yesterday I checked his phone and saw that himself and the lady had more conversation and what started as facebook chat had progressed from phone calls to whatsapp chat. The content of their chat seems they were eventually planning to hook up.

I confronted hubby but he wasn't remorseful and told me he doesn't owe me faithfulness and went on to sleep in the other room. Hubby and I pray together and are looking towards a very bright future together, this is not something i really saw coming from him. I am very troubled in my heart and pregnant for our first baby. He dozent feel any atom of pity that the whole issue might cause me problems and I have been wondering what has come over him. I am 100 percent faithful to my hubby and want the union to work out. I am at work typing and holding back tears. Please i need advise from mature people in the house, how do i deal with the situation. I am in my late 20s, he is in his late 30s.
This is normal (Nigerian context ) so To speak in early Relationships, he will get over it, but You won't stop discussing with your husband, girl's who won't answer him when he was single will chase him now that he is married, no fight am oo, instead be loving and caring at the end you will over come, i write from experience

Lordcenturion2:
Man who gave his name as Omowole Isaac Omogoroye has declared himself “the only son of God”.
Omogoroye, who declared himself ‘Jesus Christ’ appeared in Lagos, and also declared that he is the next president of Nigeria who is set to take over Aso Rock villa.

The self-acclaimed “Jesus Christ”, who spoke with SaharaTv was formerly a President of the University of Lagos Students’ Union.
He said he was appearing to different countries of the world as the awaited son of God expected to redeem the world.

Omowole added that the government of Nigeria will change its name to the New Jerusalem of the Bible as he is set to take over Aso Rock as the next president to rule the country.
He said, “Today I’m appearing to the whole world as the one and only son of God expected back to life and I come in the new name of God as documented in the only living book the bible in revelation chapter 3 v 17.
“Revelations chapter 2:5, 2:7, and 2: 1. What I’m trying to say is that I’m the awaited Jesus Christ. My mission here is to let the world know that Jesus Christ is back.

“No man born of a woman will come from the sky down. It was only a parable in the bible. I’m here to decode that parable in revelation. I’m the Jesus Christ the bible is talking about.”

CareerRe: Help!!! My Colleague Is Stealing Our Company's Money And Changing Records by Bishop(m): 12:39pm On Jul 18, 2017
jguy007:
On the 5th of July 2017, i resumed work at a prestige hotel in Ikeja through a man i met at a car wash while i was washing cars for stipend to earn a living. The day i met him, i just finished washing a car and i worked up to him and requested an audience, and then told him i was looking for a job because am a computer engineering graduate trying a make a living, and all this took place sometime around February. He agreed to help and I, without giving much though didn't bother him anymore cause i was already tired of telling people i needed a job when i already know jobs are hard to come by these days. But surprisingly he came looking for my with the MD of a hotel and (devil is a lie) i wasnt at the car wash that moment,i went to see someone. He waited and waited and at some point was angry, then he left only for me to return few minutes later to be told he came looking for me...i was mad
*******************fast forward to 2weeks back*************************
He called one early morning and asked to meet me at the car wash so i could go see the MD that morning and i did. She interviewed me for few minutes, collected my C.V and asked me when i would like to resume work.So eager i said the next day and she was fine with it.Ever since that day i never saw her again but i was going to work and enjoying it too
**************************4days later*******************************
While on my shift, i made some sales and then early that morning,on my off day( cus i sleep in the office and handover sales made earlier the next day to my colleague) between 2am and 3am, two guest worked in to book a room. I assigned rooms to them and they paid me cash. I then handed the money to my colleague that was on duty that morning and went home only to return the following and discover while going thru the records that she only recorded one out of the two rooms i sold for her that morning. I searched the whole books for that room but couldn't find a trace of it, then i knew something was up. I never confronted her about it but i just decided to watch if twas gonna happen again.
**************************4days later after that*******************************
A similar thing occurred and this time so obvious. Four friends came in early in the morning on my off day and one of them paid cash for two rooms which i allocated to them and again gave the money to the same colleague before leaving that morning. On returning on my shift, she wrote down the two rooms sha but wrote 1POS and 1CASH, which was a lie cause i was the one that collected cash from them and they never paid thru POS.
**************************back to present day*******************************
Have been thing of confronting her directly but i cant cause i noticed too that she isnt alone in it, the manager is in with her and they are kind of close(i noticed it on the first day of resumption)
I also thought of telling the man that made me get the job cause later i found out that the MD is his wife, which was a shocker to me cause till now i didn't submit an application letter or bring in any guarantor before i got the job.
I don't wanna betray his trust either cause this might be a test to me
PLease friends what do i do?
NB: AM SURE THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME ITS HAPPENING....SHE OR SHOULD I SAY THEY HAVE BEEN DOING IT BEFORE I CAME. I DON'T HAVE PROOF OF THAT BUT I GUESS SO CUS NOW THEY THINK AM DUMB SINCE I DIDN'T NOTICE THE FIRST FRAUD ,WHICH I DID BUT KEPT QUIET THAT'S WHY THEY COMMITTED ANOTHER.
You will be a great disservice to your self, if you don't have a way of exonerating your self in future, for not let's assume you are part of the scam. to distinguish your person.

Create a handover system where both shift will sign and acknowledge monies received, better still suggest this to the management if your colleagues won't accept your suggestion.
I can assure you that your thieving colleagues will behave well.

Let me also assure you that they will set you up too soon so Be prepared and be a step ahead of every plan.

Thank me Later

Christianity EtcRe: 5 Most Important Things You Need To Know About Speaking In Tongue by Bishop(m): 12:25pm On Jul 09, 2017
Hiccups:
shocked

Whereas speaking in tongues is a spiritual gifts, the gifts comes when needs arises not as some self acclaimed believers would want me believe. Acts 2:4 says The Apostle being filled with Holy Ghost began to speak with other tongues, As the spirit gave them utterances.

Secondly, tongues has been abused by some, 1 Cor 14:2 was very clear tongues is used in communication. If the communication is with God natural man may never understand, If used in communication with man/woman, if truly from Holy Ghost, the gift of interpretation MUST accompany it as the case of Acts 2, where Apostles speaks and everyone understood them in their native languages.

Thirdly, there are tongues from evil sources, do not conclude all tongues from God, the kingdom of darkness have their tongues. Be guided
I like your submission on this topic... when the apostles spoke in tongues the bible said that some people could hear them speak their language. HOW Come no one from all over the world understand the language spoken

2. Language is a gift, not to everybody HOW Come every born again must learn this new language weather gifted or not

Christianity EtcRe: My Pastor Ordered Me Out Of The Church During Sunday Service by Bishop(m): 3:29pm On May 28, 2017
edidiongmichael:
What Happened To Me On Sunday Service In Church

What's your candid view on this?

Recently I joined a church, I know how to play piano but not really well. The church has a standard pianist that plays literally on every church's event. When they discovered I knew how to play, they gave me the opportunity to be playing at least 2 times a month. Honestly, I didn't see myself as a church worker because I've never been to their meeting before. I only play when they tell me to otherwise I stay at the congregation. Last Sunday, I wore a shirt with a suit trouser and a sandals to church, then I wasn't expected to tuck in my shirt with a sandals. When I got to church, the pastor ordered me out of the church to tuck in before coming inside and instructed the ushers to not let me in until I tucked in /my shirt. The church was still on and I got so ashamed and embarrassed. Everybody's eyes were on me during that time.

As confused as I was, I angrily left the church that moment to another nearby church.

Then I started thinking, Do we really have to tuck in our shirts to show how holy we are in church? What do you think had prompted the pastor to order me out? Do Christians have a dressing code? Will I be judged on the final day for letting loose my shirt to church? What's your view on this?
Leader's build they don't pull down people, i hope you understand the point i am trying to make while not Judging your pastor. Move with the wise and you will be wiser. shallom

BusinessNigeria's Greatest Asset Is Human Capital And Not Oil... Econet Boss by Bishop(op): 10:03pm On May 15, 2017
The Econet boss Strive Masiyiwa, revealed his discovery about Nigeria's greatest asset

The day I discovered the true wealth of Nigeria
__It's not all about oil!
When I first arrived in Nigeria to set up the country's first GSM mobile network, Econet Wireless Nigeria (now Airtel Nigeria), I had to serve as the company's interim CEO for about six months, until we appointed someone substantive. This meant I practically lived in Nigeria for most of that time. It was a remarkable experience, and one which will remain with me all my life. Nigeria is one of the most exciting countries in the world, and could be the next China before the turn of this century.
I just want to share with you one particular incident which led me to that conclusion: As many people know, today Nigeria has over 120m mobile phones users. To imagine that I made the first ever official GSM mobile call in Nigeria on 6th August 2001 seems almost unbelievable...
Our company Econet Wireless Nigeria was in a race with MTN Nigeria, the only other operator at the time, to meet a deadline set by the regulator for 8th of August. We beat the deadline and MTN by two days, and as Interim CEO, I had the privilege to call the regulator to tell him we were "Live"!
What a moment in my life! It's something I'll always cherish. I don't really care whether I own or don't own a mobile operator there today. My success will always be measured in terms of my small contribution in kick starting the largest mobile industry on the African continent, and it is Nigeria.
Several months before the launch deadline, I'd arrived with over 100 engineers and technicians, drawn mostly from Zimbabwe and South Africa. At the time, since Nigeria had been delayed by the military governments from acquiring GSM, it was one of the last markets without this new technology. President Obasanjo, who had just won the election two years earlier, wanted to change that and had issued three licenses, but one had been delayed.
This meant that when we started operations, Nigeria had no homegrown engineers or technicians with experience in GSM mobile technology. (Today it has more than Southern Africa combined!)
So whilst setting up the network to meet the deadline, we used expatriates from other African countries that already had GSM. We also began the process of recruiting Nigerian engineers and technicians who we would retrain for this exciting new industry to take over from the expatriate team, which wanted to do in the shortest time possible.
We had literally thousands of posts to fill.
In one instance, we placed newspaper adverts in all leading newspapers asking for people qualified in electronic engineering, at degree level, and with minimum five years relevant experience. I'll never forget the response. I came into the office to find postal bags, piled to the ceiling!
"I only want to see the applications from people who meet our requirements, and not from chancers who aren't qualified," I complained.
"Sir, these are the ones we have vetted."
"What?! You mean there were more than this?"
"Thousands, sir."
Then I came up with an idea: "Why don't you separate for me, the most qualified academically. Set aside people with MBAs, and even PHDs."
A day later, another postal bag of applications was delivered to my office. I was staggered!
There were thousands of people with qualifications in just this one discipline with MBAs and PHDs! Many had qualified in the best universities around the world. There were also GSM-qualified Nigerians working internationally, including in America and Europe, wanting to return home!
I was blown away by the qualifications. I thought to myself: "You can start almost any business or industry here. I wish investors would one day discover the wealth of this nation."
Whenever I hear people talk about the wealth of Nigeria in terms of oil, I shake my head to say: "You have no idea what you're talking about!"
The true wealth of Nigeria is its extraordinary human capital, and passion for education. Unleash that and no one can stop them!
