Is it just Casual friends with no relationship attached or Closed and deep friends to confide in with no emotions or affections or love relationship that you both are dating but absence of sex?

well I got a friend I asked her to define our friendship and she said we are just in a platonic friendship that's all. Though I like it that way cos I don't want any distractions as I don dey near to finish school so I'm battling how I'll shoot from this boundary 2:1 to first class which seems to be a Herculean task so dating and engaging on all those stuff may dampen my goal now.


Okay straight to the point, so this girl that told me we are nothing but platonic friends has some financial issues as she hasn't paid her fees as her parents are financially drained (dad got sacked, mom's business isn't flowing) so she risked suspending her studies cos she couldn't register her courses and the school fees is 50k (Course registration inclusive) and she had to struggle and hustle during the holidays and earned 20k and now needs 30k to complete an pay her fees and register her courses.

I long paid mine and there's this work that entered for me an I had 50k gain and tho I don't have any pressing needs except to boost my wardrobe and save the cash or by my mumsy a present.... But my mind and conscience is irking me that I should send her the 30k and help her out but that money is too much to give out to a platonic friend that I'm not sure I'll marry, so I should just start taking care of someone's future wife Due to the issues she's passing thru she may not be able to pay back.
so guys what's your advice in this? what's the extent of help u can give a platonic friend?

Am 26+, male and have been suffering from constipation for a long time now, since 2007/08 if I remember correctly, it started as mild constipation, but then it started getting worse.

I'd go for days, 4/5 before I would be able to go to the loo...and even when I finally go, I don't get to empty my bowel completely, its just little that comes out, my stomach is always bloated, even when I haven't eaten, p.s I used to have a flat tummy. But nowadays my tummy is always swollen. After managing to go to toilet, I still feel the need to go, because I just pass out very small quantity of faeces no matter how much I eat, and how much I strain to push them out, it doesn't change.
I've tried incorporating fruits and I drink lots of water, I drink two satchet of water or more sometimes, I've reduced fried meals still no change.

I believe I'm suffering this ailment because as a teen I was always fond of indulging in late night meals, heavy meals like especially beans and bread, and my theory is that I've over worked my stomach, and upset the balance, I'm really suffering, as I type I'm not at ease at all...I'm always hearing noise in my stomach, lest I forget, I have been experiencing symptoms of ulcer for four to five years now.

Practitioners in the house I need your help on how to clean my colon of old faeces stuck inside my intestines, so I can be free, and feel light again, its impossible for me to lose weight because of it, when I don't eat well, I would get constipated for long term. And when I visit the loo, I would pass out very tiny stuff.

Please help a brother if you know anybody that has experienced this before and found a solution to it. God bless you all.

My wife started behaving strangely immediately I lost my job in April 2017. She leaves home to her mum at the slightest disagreement without even communicating or making to express her feelings; and to worsen it, her mum gives her a great welcome with a room and parlour for her to stay, without even calling me to discuss what the problem. Whatever her daughter says is always the final, and she concludes on that.

My wife literarily destroyed my image before my in-laws to such an extent that I can't even visit them again. She tells them i insult her and her parents, and i make negative remarks about them, that i abuse her verbally at the slightest provocation. Several lies against me that I did not allow her travel out, I don't give her money, I told her not to have another kid, that I told her not to work, her mother has decided to keep her with her as I speak without even calling me to discuss, even despite all my appeals. She has been with her mum now for almost ten months(my wife is a fully grown legally married faithful woman of almost 40 years)

All these disrespect, probably cos I lost my job two years ago of which I fulfilled all responsibilities to the home. i don't drink, i don't smoke, don't womanise(even till now) I have never beaten her, I never another child out of my matrimonial home, and never impregnated another woman.

Rather than resolve her marital problem by discussing with her husband, she takes it to her family claiming emotional abuse. Fine, I agree I get provoked cos of her persistent shortcomings, and of course, frustration which leads to unguided vocal utterances towards her, but this could have been resolved easily without having to involve her whole family. Now what she keeps telling my family is that her family said she should still hold on at her mum's place. This is the 10th month since October 2018.

The last time my mum went to her mum's house precisely June last month, she was asked if she was still interested in her marriage, and she said yes, that she does not intend leaving her marriage; but we should give her time. Her mother practically told me to go and do something meaningful, and that there is time to marry, separate, reunite and hustle. Her mum is the one controlling her movements and everything about her for now; not even giving her room to give me audience.

Pls advise on what to do.

I am a married woman with two kids, a 2 year old son and a two month old baby. I recently employed a maid. She is seventeen years old. My very good friend was invited for a job interview today in Lekki,very close to Ajah. He really prepared for the interview and even call me to borrow him some cash for transport.

The interview time was 10am,since he will be going from mainland, he wake up very Early, I call him around 8am to check on him,he was already in 3rd mainland bridge.

At exactly 9:05 am,the company secretary call him that the interview has been cancelled, he was already in Chevron, just closed to the venue.

The most annoying part is that she didn't say the interview was rescheduled, but completely cancelled! How can people be this wicked,why allowed him sit more than 2 hours in traffic.

Hello guys I would be 24 in August. I really want to further my education more. I got my National Diploma in 2016 with Lower credit but I went to hustle instead of furthering more. Now I don't want to go to polytechnic, I want get my degree.

My plan is to go for Msc abroad after getting my degree. I am contemplating on 3 options now.

1. thinking of going to private university in Benin Rep (it's an accredited uni) because of their fast programme.

2. Or do DE to a university in Nigeria.

3. Or forget about getting degree..

Can I go for Masters in America or Europe with a Benin Rep degree? And which university can I go for DE with Lower credit in Nigeria (even a private uni?). Please I am getting depressed on this, I am regretting my late decision but I am the one sponsoring myself so hustle first.
Please I need a serious advice, this is my future..

I need very mature advice and inputs as regards a situation I am trying to resolve.

In the last two yearsI have been thinking seriously about relocating my entire family abroad but I am still held back by indescision.

Just this afternoon I made a decision to throw it open on Nairaland Travel section. I am sure the mature contibutions that flow forth here will help me to a large extent to take a final decision on which direction the pendulum swings.

Please note that my wife is indifferent as per where we are. She just wants us to be together peacefully. She is very satisfied with being an average, comfortable upper middle class citizen anywhere in the world provided there is peace.

I am the money man with a lot of ambition and an undying aspiration to beat (or at least compete favourably with Aliko Dangote.

I was recently posted to a different unit at my work place, under a very cheerful boss lady. She has been very good to me like she chats me up all the time and takes me out to lunch most of the time. But lately, I noticed she's been giving me attitude, she's been doing that to the point it's affecting my work around her.
She has become so stiff/rigid around me like I'm always uncomfortable and tiptoeing around her, she stops taking me to lunch or sharing stuffs with me, she starts to give me work to do with no instruction and when I turn to ask her question I see she doesn't even want to make eye contact, like she doesn't want me to ask her questions or be around her at all. I once sent her a text message that I feel she's giving me attitude and it makes Me to not know how to react around her and that I am sorry if have done anything wrong. But she did not reply.

Today she gave me a job to do which happens to be confidential but gave me no heads up about it and when I'm done I went and submitted the job On the table in her office with her rival present there.
She later came to me to scold me badly that I have changed and that iam misbehaving. she said a lot of things which made me feel bad, but I'm sure she was the one that has changed.

I don't know how to explain to her how I feel without having any quarrel or upsetting her, Because it's almost looking as if she want us to have a quarrel or something.

Im 29 and I hv a boyfriend who is 33. We hv been happily dating for close to 3 years now, he once helped me financially in a good way with 100k when I had problem with my little business, then he was doing pretty fine with his business, I sell plastics and hez into cloth business. But somtin happened last 2 months, he had terrible problems with his business and lost almost everything including his shop and in a bid to salvage his situation he ended up owing many pple, when all these started he didn't tell me, thou hez a kind of person that likes handling his problem alone without disturbing or telling me which I don't like bcus it somehow makes me feel less important and useful to him, I got to know when he changed, his attitude, moods and everything changed, hez always disturbed, thinking and always visiting pple, he payed less concern and attention to me, don't even call and when I call, he will be in a haste to end it, I became confused, so I had to asked what was going on, he said nothing, I got upset and insisted he must tell me, he then opened up, I felt so bad and almost cried, since then I have been trying to maintain his upkeep and sometimes give him money which hez not comfortable with.

The problem now Is that im scared, he asked for a huge amount of money from me which is 700k, he wants to start all over again in his cloth business and also clear some debt, and I can only boast of 820k home and abroad as a business woman, i just feel he saw my account balance before asking for this, Im scared to loose the money and him too. I love this guy but im so scared of doing this, he helped me when I needed money, but this sacrifice is bigger than me, he showed and detailed everything he will be doing with the money, Im just confused to gamble with my life savings, I know I might sound ungrateful what if the business or our relationship crumble? But after seeing your disclaimer post, I went back for more clarification and was told the grant is not sponsored by World Bank. World bank only served as their banker for the money.
However the fact behind the issue of the grant is that: it is so sure and real. And as many as are believing to the point of registering will smile to their banks soonest.
In fact I want to challenge you @ sosy25 to register, so far the registration is free and you have nothing to lose by giving it a try.
Do you even know of the fact that some people have started receiving the grant we are talking about since Monday (13/08/18). I'm very sure there are some people around you or whom you know so well who have gave in to this thing. You will only hear their testimonies.
