LOL, I just got aware of that recently, btw. And I am doing my best, now that I know, to cut people some slack. I've realized that maybe I'd never find the kind of romance I have in mind.

Do you also get the feeling that you wanna be loved a certain way? Because that's what kills it for me. I have an idea of how I want it to be but get dissatisfied because nobody does it the "right" way & I don't feel like telling someone how to do it because I feel the "right guy" would just know. You know what I mean? So relationships become a, "Head I win, Tail you lose". Basically, a no win situation for either party involved. It sucks big time.

I've had long-term relationships though & I always end up resenting or hating the guys I date because they never feel like the perfect fit, for failing to meet my unspoken expectations. It makes me feel like I'm selfish & self-centered, which I probably am

LOL, you can say that again! I usually feel very disappointed in love TBH with you because I have very high expectations + a tendency to put people on a pedestal when I 1st meet them. At 1st they're just perfect & all I ever wanted Slowly reality sets in & I start seeing them for who they really are (which is rarely ever up to my standards)...that's when the disappointment sets in & I get an overwhelming itch to next them & keep searching. I guess I'm idealistic about
love.

The relationship would end there for me though, even though I don't do my acts of kindness to gain favours or whatever. I do so because I care. But I still wouldn't let some loser take me for a ride. Saying that means he doesn't really care for me, so he can piss off. The skies won't shudder & fall because of it.

Some men want a relationship and are usually happier when they are in one...but here is where it gets tricky. They like to love but have you ever noticed they seem afraid of it too
Have a friend with a great job, good looking, incredibly smart but he has a problem and don't know how to solve it...he could be caring, cool, aloof, critical and distant . He eventually pushed his girlfriend away with this attitude. He doesn't like that about himself but can't help it....he just doesn't know why.

why do some men mess things up? what are they scared of

Ok, I have encountered this attitude with two different ladies. Last year, i hooked up with a friend I lost contact with many years ago...during our chitchat session she told me her boyfriend is a Doctor and that they were planning to get married that year and I equally told her about Bae too. A couple of weeks after that, we got talking again and I asked about the Doc and she said which Doctor And denied she never told me she was dating one.
Later on, she said she was dating a Naval officer but claimed they broke up but I later got to know she was not even in a relationship. Now, my people her man works in a telecom company.

The confusing part is, I have never asked her about who she is dating or his profession...she just tells me on her own.

Why the Lies? Why lie about an imaginary boyfriend or his profession
